Lady Lucifer BOT 29-Jun-21 11:42 PM
With a loud gasp Lucifer found herself rising back into the land of the living. She hadn’t actually died, just been out for a small moment. She couldn’t die, as the Lady of the Underworld she was immortal. She looked around herself, surrounded by small pieces of glass, rain and blood.. She saw the body laying next to her, the body that belonged to a beautiful young lady who she had granted a favor. The favor had kickstarter her career as an artist and she had been there to thank her helping her. Now she laid in those glass shards with dull eyes that stared back at Lucifer with no life left in them. “Who did this?” She sounded angry and she was. She brought herself back up to her feet, her heels ticking into the concrete floor as she started stepping. She had een shot, shot from a car that was now laying on it’s side in the middle of the road. She reached it soon, her hand grabbing into the collar of the person that had fired the bullet. But his life had already left him. “No, no! You don’t get to die! I am not there to punish you for what you have done to her!” She shouted at him, but it didn’t matter. Once a soul left this world, there was no bringing it back, not even for her. She got back up to her feet, brushing the rest of the glass dust away from her black dress. The mortals were already drawing their phones getting ready to call the authorities for what had happened there. Soon it would be crawling with police. Just another of crazy that she would need to deal with.

The sirens of the arriving police officers filled the area in front of Lux. The cop cars were all coming to the scene as fast as possible. The glass had barely finished falling before Lucifer was up and shouting at a mortal. Chris was one of the detectives in the first car. His badge hanging on a chain. His blond hair cut short. He knew about this new woman calling herself the Devil who was in town. And... well, he'd done a quick check. Where did the money come from. But it seemed to be gifts from... mostly legitimate sources. He stepped out of the car his gun drawn as he hurried over. "Hey, LAPD! Put the man down please. Can you get on your knees and hands behind your back." His eyes darted around. He reached for the radio at his shoulder. "Civilian down. We have 2 suspects. One is holding the other. Female. Middle aged. Blonde. The other is a male. Can't see him. No... She is holding him up. I'm investigating now." He stopped by the girl, and leaned down to check for a pulse. Nothing. "Miss! Put the man down. My name is Detective Chris from the LAPD. Please do that. I don't want anyone else to get hurt."

She looked up towards the police officer that had come to the scene way before he had been meant to be there. His gun was pointed her was as she still had her hands in the collar of the guy who had been shooting. She just threw the lifeless corpse away from her, it landing a good 5 feet away from her. “Why are you pointing your gun at me? You think you can scare me?” She laughed. “The one you want to be pointing that towards is that guy!” She said pointing towards the body she had just thrown away. “But his soul has already left for the gates of hell so really there is no need for your gun at all.” She said. She made no attempt to actually raise her hands or turn around. The gun didn’t scare her. She just simply looked at the body of the girl, it was still showered in glass shards. Along with the bullet holes in her body, the glass had cut up her skin pretty badly. “I will find the person who did this to you.. they will not get off as easy as he did.” She said, still talking about the shooter.

Chris saw the guy thrown to one side, and hurried over. Checking the pulse. His eyes flicked around the scene. It didn't take Sherlock to figure out exactly what had happened. The car had driven past and shot at the girl, and presumably the woman. He could see the blood on her. But how on earth wasn't she hurt? He could figure that mystry out later. But right now... He checked the other guy. He could smell the gunpowder. So this was clearly the shooter. He didn't need to check with the witnesses. He stood up and walked over to the lady. "I'm going to need to ask you to come and take a statement. And please, Miss... what is your name?" He had his note book out. Note books were the best weapon a police officer had.

“Lucifer Morningstar. But you can call me Lucy if you would like.” She said as she leaned into him a little bit. “Why don’t we move inside, have a talk.” She invited him. She usually had a charm over people. It was easy for her to make people do exactly what she wanted from them. And right now she needed to know what these cops were going to do about this. Someone had ordered the shooting and she wasn’t going to sit easy until she knew who actually did that. Even if the shooting had maybe been ordered for her, Delphine had gotten stuck in the crossfire. She had been killed all the same.

Chris looked around then. Lucifer was charming already. And she'd gone from that rage to settling down and inviting him in for a chat. He was about to say no when he thought to himself for just a moment. Then he stood up and nodded. The rest of the cops were here and everyone had things under control. And this was the best witness. He reached for his pocket and pulled out a notepad and pen. "Okay! Lets go in and have a chat. I can take your statement."

“Good.” She just said before turning around, her silver blond hair whipping over her shoulder as she did so. She walked into the nightclub on high heels. The police outside and happenings had send most people away and the club was almost empty. She stepped down the long stairs, her heels clicking on the dark flooring. She moved over to the bar and leaning over grabbing one of the bottles of top shelves whiskey and two beautiful crystal glasses. She poured two nice layers of the the brown/orange liquid and shoved one glass towards the officer. “Or did you prefer it on the rocks? I could grab you some ice Officer.”

He moved to sit down at a table. Folding his legs over as he looked at the woman grabbing some alcohol. Did she really think... Then he thought about the reputation that this person had. Party goer. Happily having one foot in both legal and illegal business dealings. He let out a long sigh as he looked down at his book. "Lucifer, I'm not going to drink on duty. Could you sit down? Did you know the victim?"
