Johann IV of Condenia BOT 17-Dec-21 04:16 PM
And thus the waiting had finally come to an end. The TP-731 Teleporter project had been finished by the Condenian RED Labs and a ceremony was made to accompany what appeared to be the greatest success in human technology yet. With the power capable to move an entire fleet of the Imperial Navy from one galaxy to another in the blink of an eye, the TP-731 was a behemoth of power cables and large structures going all around. For such a special ceremony, the most important people in the Condenian Empire had been invited to see a demonstration of such a powerful teleporter in action. In the same room used by the TP-731, even the Emperor of Humankind saw himself delighted by such an advance made by humans. What wasn't expected, though, was that a small failure to feed the teleporter with enough energy caused it to implode and, as if it wasn't enough, everyone who was in that very room was sent flying across random universes -- And that included scientists, members of the imperial guard, the Archcommander and even the Emperor himself. Once Johann stopped traveling randomly, he fell from a considerable height straight into a dense, rainy forest in a world Far From Home. Hitting many trees before falling onto the ground, Johann has hurt himself on his arms, head and legs. "Crap... What just happened? WHERE AM I?" Johann thought, unable to keep quiet despite his injuries. He soon got up from the ground and, remembering a few things of his survival training, tries to get a better look of the place all around. However, all he sees is trees, bushes and fog that turn the rain a bit terrifying.

Lynae D'Veyra BOT 17-Dec-21 04:58 PM
Lynae D'Vreya was a skilled huntress, or so she hoped to be deemed by her village elders. She had been exploring the dense rainforest to find an iridium serpent. The species had been deemed her prey and she intended to bring in the kill. She had been given a sword along with permission to use her biotic abilities to fight. The damn thing had been picking off children from the edge of a smaller settlement and it was crucial that she succeed in her mission. Currently Lynae was perched on a tree hiding within the thick foliage as she laid in wait for her trap to be sprung. The thing was, some idiot had just fell into it, a few feet from the pile of fresh raw meat she had set up. She swore something very uncouth before jumping down the six feet from the tree limb. She landed perfectly on her feet, knees bent to catch her balance. When she stood upright the unknown being would be met with a sword pointer in his direction. Indigo eyes would be narrowed as Lynae made her way forward. She was almost within reach when she stopped dead in her tracks. Two large glowing eyes were currently peaking from behind him. Quickly before having much time to think she grabbed his hand and spun him out of the way Lynae raised her had and aimed it at the snake as it came into the clearing. It was well over seven foot and had a head big enough to swallow them whole, it's body covered with iridium ore to protect it's vulnerable spots, the color of it's scales were as green as the thick leaves currently hanging from the trees above them.. Lynae swore again handing the man her blade. She didn't know where he had come from, but if he wanted to live he would need to fight. "Can you fight?" She wasn't surenif he would understand her, as she had never seen his kind before but there was no harm in trying.

Johann quickly lifted his left hand up and carefully set it on the sword. "Yes, I do have my way around swordsmanship... But I do prefer this, though." He said, giggling as he quickly opened one of the pockets in his jacket and taking a futuristic Luger pistol out of it, smiling and taking a more defensive stance in his composure, staying alerted to their whereabouts and holding his weapon towards the ground in a way he can quickly take aim with it. "Do you even understand me?" He asked, looking at the purple colored humanoid female in front of him. "I'd love to give you a nice introduction, but I'm aware that our situation... Is not the most comforting available." He said, watching the bushes that moved and trying to keep a track of where the iridium serpent might be. "Is that thing resistant to bullets?" He asked, approaching Lynae a bit further so that they can take care of each other's backs. As much as he tried to stay calm and relaxed, he couldn't help but to sigh, completely worried about his well being. As if the situation couldn't get any worse for them, Johann's radio starts receiving a communication. The emperor quickly picked it up from one of the pockets and answered. "My Emperor?" Asked the voice from the other side, worry clear in the man's voice. "Shush... I am in the middle of something important. Disable the radio for a few minutes or you may give my position away." He answered, then disabling his radio. It wouldn't be enough to stay quiet as of now, as the snake had already heard the voice in the radio and was already tracking them. In a swift movement, the iridium serpent revealed itself and, from Johann's quick reaction, was shot in the head and body a couple of times -- The iridium ore covering its skin blocking what would otherwise kill it and allowing it to strike back at the emperor before disappearing into the bushes once more. Poisoned and panicked, Johann fell onto the ground and dropped his weapon.

Lynae looked at the man puzzled, whatever language he was speaking was not one that she was familiar with. She shook her head at him then looked down at his weird communications device. It had been loud, and she knew that they would be set upon before too long and she crouched in a fighting stance as she waited. Lynae watched in shock as he would try and shoot the thing. While guns did exist on her planet they were not of the type the man had just used. "Are you an idiot that thing has-" Before Lynae could finish her sentence the man had fired and slithered into hiding. She wanted to whack the dude upside the head. She watched as the man fell to the ground, the look on his face was almost comical but Lynae had other things to currently worry about. "Stay here... don't do anything more stupid." She would lower herself, her biotic powers already glowing in her hand as she stalked the serpent. He would hear a commotion inside the thick foliage that she had disappeared into. A loud bang and hiss from the serpent trying to attack her. She avoided the attacks and had jumped off of a tree trunk her with a skillful flip she was behind the snake and she shot her golden force at the beast. She successfully hit it but it was only to stun it as she quickly ran at the thing, sliding around and beneath it to slice it in it's instant kill zone. The serpents blood coated her and she wiped it out of her eyes before moving to it's head. Skillfully Lynae removed the things fangs, careful to not get the extremely toxic poison onto her skin. She slipped them inside the pouch that was across her back and then removed the eyes from it's socket. She also scraped off a few pieces of iridium ore. Satisfied with enough proof that she had killed the thing she headed back to the wounded stranger. Once there she would stare down at him covered in the thick black ichor that was the snakes blood. "Come..." She would hold out her hand to offer him help up, and if needed extra strength.

Johann IV of Condenia BOT 19-Dec-21 04:04 AM
Johann, being the Emperor of Humankind, has had a lot of advantages mutated into his own body. One of those, of course, would be poison resistance. The RED Labs (Research, Evolution, Development Laboratories) back in Condenia reverse-engineered the resistance in Johann's body for poison to not be able to kill him. The side effect of that, however, would be that whenever a poison is too strong, it gives him psychedelic effects. Considering this and the bite of the iridium serpent, by the time that Lynae was finally able to hold her hand out to help Johann, the Emperor was already tripping balls. Instead of laying dead, or at least paralyzed on the ground, Johann is actually moving his body randomly as if he was dancing and, as if it wasn't enough, instead of using the Universal Common/English, he was actually singing in German/Condenian. Of course, that entire situation must be extremely weird for the huntress -- At first, a human appears and falls onto her trap, then he holds out a weapon that is completely strange-looking and then, after being bitten by the snake, he is literally DANCING AND SINGING on the ground. "NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP, NEVER GONNA LET YOU DOWN!" He sang in the Condenian language, then taking the hand of Lynae and getting up, then pulling her closer and trying to dance with her. "You are so beautiful, my young girl." He whispered, giggling and then starting to dance alone. In his vision, everything was extremely happy -- Even the bushes and the trees were dancing, and that's not even to mention the pink elephants he was able to see passing by while dancing as well. If someone would have been able to see what he sees currently, they would most likely compare it to a trippy old cartoon where everything seems happy enough to be dancing. (edited)

Lynae helped the man up, clearly feeling the effects of something. She was not sure what he was saying but when he started to dance with her she raised a thin eyebrow. He let her go to dance on his own and it was almost comical, except Lynae knew that the effects of a Iridium serpent should be doing much worse things to the man. She tried to get him to follow her but he seemed oblivious to everything but himself and she was growing more frustrated the more he danced. When his back was turned to her she grabbed a rope out of her back and made a makeshift lasso to corral the man. If he wouldn't come easy or willing then she'd trap him and pull him along like they would their cattle. "Come, before something much worse than the serpent were to appear. You're being awfully loud." She would throw the lasso, the loop landing around his chest and arms. She would yank hard then, pulling him closer, the affect would cause him to spin and let the rope wrap around him tightly. Lynae tried her best to grab his hands and after a little scuffle she managed to tie them together too. "I don't know who, or what you are, but one thing is sure, you're going to get yourself killed here." She was basically talking to herself with the unknown language he was using, but it helped her vent her frustrations so she continued anyways. Once he was tightly secured and couldn't escape she picked up his strange weapon and glanced it over before adding it to the bag. She would take it, and him to her elders to figure out exactly what to do with him. It would take them a few hours to get to the chiefs village, and once there she would go to the conclave to discuss the mission, but more importantly fighure out who and what this man was.

Once Lynae managed to get hold of the Emperor, it seemed Johann had finally snapped back into reality and became silent, simply allowing for the huntress to carry him around the place. He maintained his mouth shut, despite the fact that he was still tripping. Eventually, while walking, he would stumble on rocks and twigs and fall down, needing Lynae's assistance to get back up. Once they were in the village, it seemed the poison had traveled so much further down into Johann's blood that the psychedelic effects were enhanced and, despite being quiet, everything seemed like a horror movie to him. Either the people looked way too scary, or they looked funny and Johann would laugh, which most likely caused people to either be scared, angry or offended. Or even a mix between the three. Once they had finally stopped, Johann simply laid on the closest thing that resembled a bed and tried to keep himself quiet, looking around as the many races he has seen in his time start passing by, everyone dancing, everyone happy as Johann starts laughing maniacally, unable to hold himself. After a few long minutes of hysteric laughing, the Emperor finally fell asleep on the bed. When he woke up, hours later, the effects had already passed and he looked around to see whoever was there. Now he knew for sure that he was in big trouble and was definitely horrified to be there. He maintained himself quiet for a bit before finally opening his mouth again. "...Hello?" He asked, using the Universal Common language as his way of communication. Nonetheless, no one was able to understand him and he simply stood there, laying on a bed and strapped to it. "Can I go now?" He indulged, smiling with all the charisma he has.

When they had finally made it to the conclave the man had been so hysterical they had to strap him down to prevent him from harming himself or others. She was thankful she had tied him up beforehand, while passing through the village they had passed many of her kind, some of them children. Normally things would have been done differently but Lynae felt there weren't that many options at present other than bringing him to the elders. He had slept for hours in a bed in the medical wing and while he had Lynae gave her reports of how events unfolded, every minute detail down to them walking into the village. The elders had been perplexed; never before had they seen such a species as the man and were unsure of what to do. It took several hours of just the elders debating until her mother spoke. "We use the earworm, it has never failed before and it should not fail now. Lynae. He is most familiar with you, as such you should be present and also receive one. So that you may aide him while hear." There was a loud boom from another elders staff and he rose to speak. "**I object. Earworms are rare and hard to raise. It is unfair to give such a thing to someone who could be an enemy!" Lynae's eyes moved from her mother to elder Yaruk. The man was thinking logical, but from the smell interactions Lynae had had with the man, never once did he turn his weapon on her. Instead he tried to save both of them from the snake. "If I may interject..." She placed a fist over her heart and bowed slightly to show respect. "Elder Yaruk, the being tried to save me, for that I owe him, whether he was successful or not." She looked back to her mother. "Head elder, I will take full responsibility, come what may..." This time Lynae got on her knees and put her forehead to the floor. "I beseech the elders to give him a chance, we may yet learn from him. As evidence I hand over the man's weapon. Proof that he is from another realm."
There was a clamor as multiple elders spoke up, some agreeing with her mother and others agreeing with Yaruk. Three loud booms could be heard coming from her mother's staff. "Enough. My mind has not changed. Lynae D'Vreya, you are hearby linked to that of the unknown and as such, should he prove to be a threat to our kind you shall pay the price with your life." Three more booms and the session was over, people started filing out of the wide double doors. Lynae waiting until everyone else was gone, the only two kept were her, her mother and the physician.
"Let us go, Madame elder, the earworms have been prepared at your request." The physician led them to a room that was not far from the conference chamber. The man was on the bed, clearly awake as he tried to communicate with one ofnthe nurses. Lynae sat on a bed nearby, back straight and heald tiled to look at him.  They had deemed it logical for her to gonfirst, to show the foreign man it would not harm. The physician held a vibrant yellow worm, it's body wriggling wildly as he slowly lowered it into her blue ear. Lynae only slightly flinched, and not because it hurt but because it tickled. When she finally felt it settle into her ear canal she sighed. It wasn't so bad. She stood then walking over the the man and looked down at him. "Please be still. This will only take a moment." She indicated to the doctor, with a matching worm as he approached the other side of the bed. Worm wriggling between tweezers.

As soon as Johann saw the worm entering Lynae's ear and realizing the same would be done to him, he started struggling on the bed, trying to break the straps. "OH NO YOU WONT! GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME! DON'T YOU DARE COME NEAR THE EMPEROR OF HUMANKIND WITH SUCH A MIND CONTROLLING BEING!" He shouted, speaking in the natural Condenian language. It was clear that he was extremely uncomfortable with the entire situation. As the physician came close, Johann managed to slip one of his legs out and started kicking the air close to him. "DON'T COME NEAR ME!" He shouted. Everything was unknown to him, and having the risk of falling under mind control by an alien race was completely terrifying. Not only could it risk his own life, but it could risk the entire Empire the man helped become what it is as of now. Eventually, Johann simply lost all of his energy and accepted it, knowing the struggle would be in vain and knowing that the straps wouldn't give in. After all, those straps were made specifically for that kind of job. It wasn't Johann's fault, getting bit by the snake, but it was his fault to have allowed himself to have been imprisoned there. He shouldn't be there, but he was the one to accept the invitation to personally watch over the first time the TP-731 would be working. Nonetheless, the only thing that comforted him at this time is the knowledge that Erika of Condenia, his older sister, must have taken control of the Empire by now and, despite not being the most interested person for the profession of Empress of Humankind, she is probably doing a good job at their home. For that reason, Johann simply silenced himself and looked away, allowing the physician and the other people in the room to come near him. He stopped struggling, he simply accepted his fate.

Lynae snorted at his antics but prepared to step in if needed. The man was being outrageously ridiculous. As if an earworm could be used for mind control. "Calm down, it's to help you communicate, idiot." He would notice that she was speaking his language if he was paying attention. To her own ears it sounded strange, not having the eloquent lilt and cadence that her native language had. She would move closer to his head and place her hand on his to provide some comfort. "My name is Lynae D'Vreya and thank you for attempting to save me." She hoped the conversation would distract him as the worm entered, slowly wriggling its way into his ear canal. After it was over with she eyed him again. "Do not try and attack, we don't mean any arm and as such nor should you." It was a statement and a threat all rolled into one. "We will release you from your restraints now that you are not crazy and have your wits about you." She turned tolook at her mother who nodded once. "He may be released. Remember Lynae, your head." Theblead elder, her mother gave a warning before turning to the physician. "You are excused, we have things to discuss." Her authoritative voice sent the man scurrying out of the room in a heartbeat. "Now, can you understand me, stranger?" The elder loomed over him, her blue, almost purple skin differentiating her from Lynae and the others. The guards finished undoing his restraints before moving back to behind her. "Where have you cone from? Why are you here?" Lynae watched, tongue in cheek as her mother already began the interrogations. He hoped the man would answer truthfully, she did stick her neck out for him, not that he was aware of that.

As the earworm entered his ear and Johann noticed it wasn't all that bad, he suddenly felt more comfortable. He looked at everyone in the room, specifically at Lynae. He doesn't know what an elder is, and being the Emperor of Humanity can bring many rather uncommon enemies towards him. Once he was finally released, he got back up on his feet, took all the dust out of his beautiful black uniform and took Lynae's hand, kissing it gently once and smiling as he looked up at her. "Thank you for being kind to me, I appreciate it. I am truly sorry for all the ruckus caused..... I have my reasons." He said, slowly letting go off of Lynae's hand and then turning his attention over to her mother. "Yes, I can understand you now, and... That's a really long answer. It's more complicated than I came from there and want this... I am from a place that goes well beyond the starts in the sky, and I don't want anything specific here... I wasn't meant to be here. A problem has happened in my homeworld and I have been brought here randomly, either by fate or luck." He explained, or at least tried to. He looked down, he longed for his home more than anything. "I hope you can understand that I am not your enemy." He said, trying to smile to get a bit of his charisma going on. "I am completely open to answer any questions that you might have and I am more than willing to cooperate with answers so that we can understand each other's differences and make sure we are not enemies, but friends. If everything goes right, we could perhaps even be allies? Wait, did I tell you I am the Emperor of Humanity? Wait, I am telling too much, ain't I?" He asked, shutting his mouth as it finally got into his mind that he is just blabbering about his status as the emperor and if they are, indeed, his enemies and had any kind of doubt they are now gone. "Shit." He thought, taking a step backwards and looking at Lynae.

Lynae looked at the man, his hand took hers and he placed his lips upon it and she raised an eyebrow. Was this a custom where he was from? He seemed very confident him himself and it seemed refreshing, like a dip in the lake during mid winter. Purple eyes drifted from him to her mother as she made a face and Lynae quickly dropped removed her hand from his. She tucked her hands behind her back and bowed her head slightly. The elder eyed this so called emperor and pointed her staff in his direction. "If you mean no harm I will take your word, as we are a trusting yet cautious race. I have other business to attend but leave my daughter to learn from and to teach you." She turned on her heels, her staff slamming once onto the hard concrete beneath. "Let us go." She directed at her guards before they followed her out of the medical bay. Lynae watched her mother leave, her breath she had been holding the whole time was finally released and she relaxed instantly. She let go of the tight grip she had on her hands and turned to the man. "What is your name, Emperor of Humanity?" She thought it was a strange title, she wondered what or where this humanity was. "Are you hungry? Maybe we should converse over a meal?" She offered. Lynae didn't really want to take him back to her pod home as she was still unwed and there were customs one had to follow in her culture. Definitely didn't want to take a stranger, uniquely handsome or not. "Or if not food, perhaps a walk around the village so that you can get accustomed to your surroundings. We should also find you some lodging." (edited)

Johann looked at her, delighted at the exceptional education it seems that Lynae's race receive towards strangers. "My name is Johann of Condenia, I am currently the ruler of the Condenian Empire, in a place very, very far... What about yours, miss? Also, if I am allowed to compliment you, I do have to say you are uniquely beautiful with those gentle eyes of yours." He said, giggling at the thought that he was pretty much flirting with an alien right now. "Honestly, I would love to have a walk around the village. I am... Intrigued with your culture, to say the least. I have been with many races before, and I am heavily intrigued every time that I come in the contact with a new one." He mentioned, smiling. However, it didn't take much more than a few seconds for his smile to fade away and for his left hand to reach his shoulder. It was clear that something had made him uncomfortable. "I am... Damn, the snake bite has started to hurt me a lot now. Fuck..." He said, quickly taking his jacket and shirt off, revealing his fit and slim body's upper part as he looked at the mirror and the mark where the serpent's fangs struck him are now purple and his veins can be seen to be tensioning up. "I need a doctor." He mentions, seemingly calm despite the injuries.

Lynae offered a diplomatic smile "Wish to have met you under better circumstances Johann." Lynae held out her hand to shake it, now that they were formally introducing themselves to each other. "As I said before my name is Lynae D'Veyra, I am daughter to Madame Elder Vashne D'Veyra, the woman from before. She is what you would refer to as royalty, though we do not use such a system." At his acceptance to a walk she was pleased, not only would she be able to show him around but she would be able to find him lodging in the bunkhouse. "Very well, I think we can manage that. And I can explain our culture as we walk." When his face changed Lynae moved forward in concern only for Johann to remove his shirt as he complained about the snake bite. Nodding she went over to the small desk near the bed he had been on. "Physician Alm, please return. The patient's snake bite has not gotten better and he may need another cleanse." There was a beep and then a deep voice returned but at the door instead of through the small speaker. "Very well, I suspected as much. Then let's look at that, shall we?" Alm held a hand out motioning for Johann to get back on the bed as he went to a cabinet and got the supplies he needed. A nurse came in shortly after to assist. Lynae moved back to observe, her eyes gravitating as he went to sit, the muscles on his chest were quite impressive and she could not help but appreciate as they flexed when he got onto the bed. She swallowed and looked away, a faint purple blush appearing on her cheeks. Her thoughts were not very diplomatic at all with him being injured.

Once Johann was finally fixed up again, he sighed and got up from the bed once more, putting his shirt and jacket back on before taking Lynae's hand again and kissing it a few times. "I am sorry, I shouldn't have forced myself after the snake bite. Shall we go on a walk now, miss Lynae?" He asked, smiling as he took his peaked hat off and put it on his belt, carrying it by his side and revealing his short, blonde hair. "I haven't told you about my own home yet... In there, we humans have had lots of disagreements over the years. Everyone wanted to be part of one nation or another, and it has caused a lot of damage to us along our history. When the people started uniting themselves, bigger wars were caused at the extension of our own arrogance. People of different ethnicities started battling because one would try to enslave the other, and at the end of the day it was always the human versus the human. When my nation lost a huge war, we were treated harshly by the victors... When the Treaty of Versailles broke us, what we did was ascend back into a place of power and we conquered everyone that one day went against us. Skip to a few years after that and the whole planet had been conquered by the Condenian Empire, and to make sure no other wars would happen... We gave freedom to everyone. Freedom, jobs, places to live, everything a human needs to have a good life, we gave it to them. For that reason, we have truly managed to evolve as a race and society, and have even been able to reach places from the space and beyond." He spoke, holding her hand gently as he tried to explain the basic principles of humanity. He then placed another soft kiss on her hand before letting it go. "I'm sorry, I've been holding your hand all this time." He said, giggling and looking away, flustered.

Lynae watched as the doctor treated his wound, after it was thoroughly cleaned and examined to make sure no residual venom the doctor had left them to themselves again. She listened intently as the man named Johann explained humanity. " The multiple wars sounds much like some of the other races here on Zallara. It was what drove the civilization we have here now. Though war is still a risk with the other races we try and keep to ourselves." She watched as he kissed her hand, another blush spreading across her cheeks but her facial expression remained stoic. When he let go of her hand she shook it slightly, as it had sort of gone numb as he held it, her blood now regaining complete circulation. "Well then, let's go. If we start now by the end of it you'll get to see the double sunset that happens..." She lead him to the door, her back straight as she walked, her hips swayed as she walked and if one were to stare it would remind them of a panther as it stalked it's prey. As they left the building Lynae stopped to take a deep breath. The air was lukewarm and thick with moisture like that of the rainforest that surrounded them. She looked at Johann briefly before she took him by the arm to lead him first to the communal baths. "Here is where you would come to bathe, it is communal so please be respectful of our customs. I am sure my moth-" Lynae cleared her throat. "Madame Elder will be sending you documents on our laws and customs so that you may blend well during you stay...as much as you can." She glanced at his peculiar pink skin and hair the color of the suns rays. After the bathhouse she would show him the few places to grab food in the village that were not a persons own pod. She showed him the gardens and then the military camp, though they didn't linger there long. She ended the tour at the lodging house. She paid for him to have a private room on the upper floors and showed him how to get there using the hover plates.

Johann listened to her speak as if she was a teacher to him. "Yes, okay... Your people sounds really interesting. It's a shame war is still a reality between the others..." He sighed, following her by her left side. His voice is sweet, naturally charismatic. Johann is, in fact, one of the so called silver tongued devils. Of course, years of experience being an emperor and having trained for that have caused such effects on him. "A double sunset? That sounds absolutely beautiful." He said, giggling as he looked up into the sky and started imagining the double sunset. After a few moments, he came back to reality and looked at her, kind of lost in his thoughts. The climate in there somewhat reminded him of the Amazon rainforest back in his home planet, and he sighed. Honestly, he loved being one with the nature. He always had a special place in his heart for the fauna and the flora, and when he got to adventure in other planets, it only raised even further into him. Once they were reaching the communal baths and had his arm pulled, he looked at Lynae to try to understand what she was doing. "We bathe here? I really am in need of bathing... I will make sure to read about your laws and customs closely to make sure I won't be breaking any rules. Although... Where can I clean my clothes?" He asked, looking down on himself -- His boots were dirty with mud from the forest and his uniform was full of dust. Not to mention, of course, the blood stains in the shoulder of his jacket and shirt. Once they were in the lodgings, he made sure to thank Lynae for paying for his rent by bowing in gratitude in front of her. Once she showed the hover plates, it reminded him of the skateboards he used to play with in his childhood. "Hover plates? Interesting..." He mentioned, inspecting them further. The man's interest in everything that was around was clear in his own intrigued expression.

Lynae stood on one of the plates and directed him to do the same, she stood in the center with her hands behind her back. Once Johann mimicked as she had shown she would smile. "Now think, I want to go up" As she said the words the thin metal disk began to rise and a slow and steady pace. Lynae stared down to make sure he was able to manage it, if not she would go back down to help him. One on the upper floors where the rooms were bigger and more luxurious she would lead him to a room that would be his. The door itself looked to be made of a wood that was almost black in nature and there was a small window in the center to see out of it. She placed her hand on the door, "Just think, open and the door opens..." She smiled at him and went inside. "You do not need to worry about just anyone entering, there are restrictions, but sense I vouched for you, I have access... If that bothers you, I promise I shall not impose." She looked from him to the small living area that had a long leather looking couch made of an animal resembling a crocodile, yet it's colors were a deep shade of blue, there was no television, but there was a small box onto a table that looked like it had a lense in it. Lynae pointed to it. "We have a lot of thought activated technology, this is an entertainment box. It can provide programs for you to watch, or games to play though our games are probably nothing like yours...though I would not know that. There's also an adult channel...if you are interested in that sort of thing." She cleared her throat and took him to a small hallway that had two doors. She opened the one on the left to reveal a small rain shower and a toilet. The showers head was connected to the ceiling with a small hole underneath it on the floor for drainage, the toilet was next to it with a sink on the back. "Here is a personal shower to clean yourself... We try to conserve water, it is a commodity and we try not to take too much from nature..."

Lynae then opened the door to the right to reveal a room with a bed and small dresser, the wall opposite the bed was pure glass revealing to them a scene above the forest tree line. The sky was just starting to change colors creating a soothing atmosphere in the room. The bed itself was circular with black silky sheets and one long cylinder pillow. The dresser looked more like a school locker but was actually quite spacious for what it was. "These are your sleeping quarters....If the window is too much just go to the circle" she pointed to a hand sized white circle on the panes of glass. "And think, shade and it should darken to however dark you want." She turned to face him and indicated the dresser. "There are some body suits in there for you to wear while you clean your clothes. We have a small place to launder clothes and I can show you that after you change, and then perhaps after watching the sunset we could go get food? I'm sure you're hungry..." She scratched her chin for a second. "If you do not feel up to eating in public they can deliver food for you here. There is a small box beside the bed with a button for communication. Just push it and tell them where you wanted to be directed." She offered a pleasant smile. "Any questions?"

Johann was completely amazed by the hover panels -- They were exactly like the skateboards he had used in his childhood, so it brought him both good and bad memories. Once she had shown him the upper floors and led him into his room, he couldn't help but look at her, before looking at everything. He was fascinated with everything, the way her race decorated rooms, the way they were built even. Once he could understand that most things he would find there were used through some kind of telepathy, he couldn't help but to be curious. "I am helpless around this place. You simply cannot cease to amaze me." He said, smiling as he looked at Lynae and embraced her gently. "Of course you shall have permission to come and go from my room. In fact, I hope you can visit me while I stay here." He whispered, giggling as he once again took her hand and kissed it. Once in the showers, he looked at them. "Fascinating... I will make sure to take a shower later on, I am in dire need of one." He said, sighing as he looked around. When he was invited to watch the sunset and get some food after, he was delighted at the receptance that Lynae was giving him. "Of course! I would love to watch the double sunset and have a dinner after. It will be lovely, I am sure." He mentioned, still smiling. "No, no questions..."

Lynae nodded. "Then I shall be back within the hour to collect you. Feel free to shower or relax. I have other business to attend at present." She turned to leave the room. "I'm sure someone will eventually be by with a welcome basket and the booklet with our customs and laws." Lynae stared at him briefly before heading for the door. She hoped he wouldn't venture off on his own yet, she was unsure how others would take to this human from another planet or even universe. She couldn't risk the possible chaos. "Please wait for me, I just need to go and take care of something." She offered him a smile before exiting his lodging. It took her approximately five minutes to walk to her pod. She looked up at her home, the large water droplet resembling building was made of full glass and sat on a concrete leaf type structure. As she walked inside, the lights automatically turned on and a shower could be heard turning on and heating up. The opaque glass turned a very dark gray and obscured the view from those who may have been looking in. Lynae stripped down, her fully dark green, almost black body suit coming off with little resistance. The material while thin was actually armor and could actually stop most small weapons and attacks. She looked at herself in the full body mirror, her azure skin bruised in several places and were very dark, nasty looking. She winced at the bruise on her hip and turned to see just how much of her skin had been hit on impact. The bruise actually wrapped around her waist and travels all the way across her left buttcheek and leg. She sighed and turned, stepping into the scalding hot water, the smell of eucalyptus and lemon wafted from the water. It was meant to help speed the healing process, and Lynae found herself using it more and more as her missions became dangerous. But the azure woman couldn't afford to look weak, to be seen less than.
It took her a total of thirty minutes to shower and once out she dried herself before dressing in a skin tight black dress that stopped just above her knee, a slight slit creating easier movement on the right leg. The sleeves went all the way to her wrists but with how skin tight it was there was little left to the imagination. Feeling satisfactory in her appearance she went to pick up Johann. She herself was rather ravenous, having only had breakfast this day. She knocked on the door to warn him she was there before placing her hand and opening it.

"Thank you. For everything, really. For this really nice and heartwarming reception, for... Not controlling my mind with this worm, for believing that I am not your enemy, for inviting me to watch the double sunset... I am honored to be here. My status as an emperor will never matter if those who are with me do not take me as a true leader. And for that reason, I have learned to be a humble man. I accept everything new with a thirst for knowledge and with full interest. With that in mind, I have to say that you and your race are about some of the most intriguing beings and cultures that I have ever seen. You fascinate me, Lynae. Thank you." Johann said, smiling. Although his face held a gentle, warm smile, deep inside the man wanted to cry. He wasn't sad, instead he was emotioned that he could feel safe in there. He was afraid, and yet all Lynae did was comfort him. Once the azure-skinned girl had left Johann alone, the emperor went on for the showers. He slowly got himself naked, not quite revealing anything for anyone, but got naked on the spot and started trying to understand the shower, fighting it. "LEVITATUS WATERATUS!" He shouted in his own mind, not quite being able to get the shower to work. He then thought a bit and... "OPERATUS ACQUOSUS!" He shouted. No deal. Shower wouldn't be working with him speaking in Latin. "But what if I try... Shower, can you please work?" And as he asked, now politely, he was surprised with the sudden rush of water coming towards him. It was almost crushing him with such a powerful water flow that was completely unexpected. Nonetheless, he showered the best he could. After showering for a few minutes, he took one of the body suits mentioned by Lynae and, despite having a bit of trouble, managed to get them on after a while. With that, he simply laid on his bed and closed his eyes, resting a bit before the girl would be calling him for the sunset.

Lynae entered through the door and didn't see Johann anywhere soninsted she went to check the room. His eyes were close so she assumed he was asleep. Unsure of whether to wake him or not she cleared her throat before lightly knocking on the door to the room. "Johann?" She took a step into the room then thought better of it. There were customs and rules for the unwed women and men and even if he wasn't of her race she would respect it. She wasn't one hundred percent sure if she liked the guy yet. What she did knowz was that he was attractive. She went to the living room and spoke up, in case he was awake and could hear her. "Whenever you are ready, we can pick up some food and I can take you to the bluffs to see the sunset." She looked at nothing in particular, but she could distinctly smell the soap, which means he had done the same as her. She pulled on the hem of the skirt. "Do you like meat? Or only eat vegetables?" Whatever he said would decide their dining choice.

Johann really was asleep by the time that Lynae entered his room. When she knocked on the door, he woke up in a rush -- He was dreaming of his home world, Condenia, where magnificent works of engineering were seen all over the places, be it in the enormous theme parks or the skyscrapers that really reached the sky and beyond and, if someone hadn't been surprised yet with said works of engineering, they could always look up into the sky to see the Galaxy-class Mothership Condenia always flying over the planet and protecting it from any invasions. "Yeah? Sorry, I was asleep." He said, giggling as he quickly got up and went to the room to attend to Lynae. "I'm really sorry, all this traveling through universes has had me extremely tired and I ended up falling asleep as soon as I laid down on the bed." He tried to explain, smiling as he looked at the azure-skined woman. He then quickly followed Lynae to the living room. "Yeah, we can go... I'm ready. Also, please give me meat to eat... Wait, what kind of meat do you eat here? I have figured out by now that we have different eating habits... And might as well eat entirely different animals. At least I hope it's not that far from what I eat in my home world or I might uh... You know... Well, you don't actually, but humans start feeling really bad when they eat something their organism is not used to or is completely strange to." He said, giggling. "Yeah, humans are weird." He added. With a quick thought on how to seem more charismatic and friendly, he quickly took Lynae's hand and kissed it a few times, then held it gently as they walked around. He wasn't sure if she felt uncomfortable with that, considering that her race has no knowledge at all of human customs. However, he still tried his luck in trying to seem friendly.

"Do you eat things like boar? Or maybe birds? We also have wild cats but they are not really fit for eating, but when times get tough we do with what we can get." She led Johann to the meat market, there were several different vendors could be seen selling raw cuts of meat as well as cooked ones. She went to one that sold a type of bird cooked in a sauce on sticks which made it easier to eat. Lynae eyed him as he took her hand, it wasn't an uncommon practice for her people to hold hands, in fact several others could be seen holding each others hands. It was a safe platonic means to show one cared for another. Though she was unsure what it meant in his culture, she decided to wait to ask him. After getting several options as well as some cooked fruit she led him to her favorite spot in the village in which she resided. It was a bit of a hike up a hill, but the hill overlooked the valley where the village was located and the view was well worth it. There was a small bench for them to sit and she waited until Johann got comfortable before speaking. "So tell me of your home..." She pointed at the two suns in the sky, both currently side by side, and as they ate she described what they were seeing. "They've already started, but if you hadn't noticed earlier they were both one. Now as she suns set they will go in separate directions. It truly is a wonder.

"Boar? Boar sounds really interesting... Not sure if I ever ate boar meat before at home, but it can't be that bad... At least it doesn't sound bad at all." He said, looking around the meat market and being curious about the diversity of meats found there. He wanted to inspect them further, although he knew that wouldn't be possible. At least not at the moment. Once they sat down, Johann was confronted with the question about his home. "Oh? My home? Well... I live in a palace... One of the Seven Wonders in my home planet. We also have huge buildings that we call skyscrapers... They, well... They literally touch the sky. We have theme parks where we have fun with our friends and loved ones and... Ever since technology made it easier, you can travel around the entire world in less than an hour if you take one of the jet planes. Although our technological advances are mostly seen in the military, such as with the Mothership Condenia that orbits our home galaxy. It defends our planet from everything and holds the name of our capital, Condenia. I am the emperor of the Condenian Empire." He explained, not sure if it made any sense to Lynae. Once she pointed at the suns setting, Johann's jaw dropped in amazement. It was beautiful. He had never seen something like that despite having traveled through many different worlds. After a bit, he retracted his mouth and smiled, happily.

She listened to him speak about his home, she didn't understand some of the things he was saying but she could try and imagine them to the best of her ability. She ate two of the birds on a stick, leaving the other half for him as well as the meatballs she had purchased. When he finished talking she was done with her food. She offered him a smile and watched as the two suns finally went behind the horizons peak. "It sounds like you value your home a lot, and care deeply. You truly must be a truly good leader." She was licking her fingers to remove the left over sauce, trying her best to clean them the best to her ability. She was quiet for awhile, while he ate she contemplated things. "While I do not know what some of those things you said were, I do know your people must value you, and are currently feeling your loss." She turned to look at him, the purple and orange sky growing darker by the minute played interesting on her azure skin. "I hope that we can help you to the best of our ability for you to get home..." Lynae was silent a moment. "I do not know what it is like to lead as I am only the daughter of Madame Elder, a simple huntress who will only just now move up in the ranks."
