It's been Four years, Four years since Aspen had took her brothers and ran away from her father who was a gang leader in new york. Four years she became a single parent to her baby brothers, at the age of 21, they were only 9 and 6 at the time of them running away. Four years since they had tried to force her to marry a rival Gang to try and stop a war from happening. It has been four years since Aspen had went into hiding with her brothers Perceus and Ryker. It has been four years and Aspen couldn't be any happier then she was now. She had her own beach house in Florida. It is a beautiful blue two bedroom beach house, that overlooked the ocean. Big enough for the three of them, she worked as a full time artist, painting people for their weddings, replication, nursery anything someone wanted her to paint she would, but her passion was scultping. She worked with a local boys and girls club, that allowed kids and adults who are blind to enjoy activities together, as well as teach those to do basic things they need to live. She went once a month to sculpt , family members. Mostly she did it for the elderly who described their loved one who had passed away. It was a emotional job, but she wouldn't change it for anything. The boys were thriving in the new environment. Perceus was no longer the shy prince who people assumed he couldn't speak, he was now a hyperactive active 13 year old, who spends his day running around outside, climbing trees, swimming in the sea and making sure his little brother got to experience as much as he could, while also being cautious of the limitations the other has. Perceus was the kindest little boy Aspen had met. Every morning when he woke up, he'd always make sure his brother and sister had a good night's rest, and if they didn't he would rush and give them cuddles and hugs, to try and make them feel better. d about him. His smile, his laugh, how smart he is. These small words of affermemt caused the boy to always perk up and make his bad mood alot better. Ryker was the baby of the trio, The now 9 year old is attached to Aspens hip every chance he gets. She was the first one to nurse him back to health after someone had blinded him, as a type of theart to her father, So it wasn't a suprise that he had a close bond with her. He is a sentitive boy, he felt everyone's emotions deeply and made sure they knew they weren't feeling them alone. If he knew someone got hurt, but not enough for the other one to cry, he would cry for them, because he knows they are hurt, and he doesn't want that for them. He was the one who called her mommy first, she was no longer big sister Aspen to Ryker, she was his mommy who was there when he's sick, or needs a kiss and cuddle. He is also the one to get Percy to start calling her mom, and she was 100% okay with it. When Aspen had broke up with her first boyfriend in Florida, poor Ryker cried more then she had, because he was heart broken that she was sad. It took Aspen and Percy a few hours before they got him calmed down, and told that it was okay that she had broke up with the guy, it just meant he wasn't the right fit for their little family. She would never tell him the true reason why the guy had broken up with her, and she never will allow them to know, the guy had tried to send the boys back to her father. Because they didn't need to now, they needed to believe that she will and forever will keep them safe. That is what she planned to do.

It has been four years since they moved to Florida, and today was the fourth anniversary of their arrival, and Aspen was going to make it a special day. It was a Saturday so the boys didn't have school, she had snuck out of her Bed, around 6 in the morning. Trying her hardest not to wake Ryker who still cosleeps with her, just incase he wakes up from nightmares, and she needed to get to him quickly. She went to the bathroom, changing into a yellow crop top amd a pair of jeans overalls. She grabbed a red flannel putting it on over her shirt, before she brushed her teeth and put her hair into a poney tail. She was ready for the day, hoping the boys would be as well. She had walked into the living room, looking out the door hoping to see him coming. Who is he ? Well he is her best friend, the man who helped then escape. She had called him the night she left in tears, sobbing that she needed to get the boys to safety, and leave. He had packed everything and moved with them to continue to keep them safe. Since that day, they would do a family trip. Every year, he would come early in the morning, help wake the boys up, and they would make a family trip to the beach, zoo, aquarium anywhere they choose to go to. It was their little tradition. But today, they decided to go to a museum, but one that catered to kids who have disabilities. One Ryker would be able to feel all sorts of textures and surfaces that he could learn about. And alot of fun activities to keep Percy's fast going mind from getting bored. She hadn't told the boys but she knew they would have fun, expecally so when they find out their favorite person in the world was going with them. She looked up hearing a car door close. She smiled softly walking towards the door, carefully opening it before he had a chance to knock. "Oh, so you finally decided to join us?" She asked with a small smile. Rowan wore a warm smile from Aspen’s greeting as she welcomed him into her home. Honestly, this house was where he felt most at home anyway, his small apartment doing the job, but never competing with the rosy atmosphere that pervaded Aspen’s place. It was always funny when she teased him about being late as if he wouldn’t just stay here, with her if he had the chance. Coming here like this though, with everyone so excited for their big day almost made living somewhere else worth it. They had spent plenty of time together in their lives after all and Rowan knew at this point that nothing would break them apart, nothing could keep the two away from each other, and nothing would prevent him from always being there for her. So for now he smiled at her playful barbs, excited himself for his favorite day of the year. “Well it’s not my fault you keep getting up earlier and earlier for this every year you know. We agreed to meet at 8 and it’s only 7:45 so I feel as if I’m more than holding up my end of the bargain!” I shot back, the silly grin on my face taking any bite out of the statement as Aspen walked past me into the house to keep getting ready. “And if Percy’s so sure I was coming where is the little rascal?” I called out, raising my voice enough to make sure he heard me. Just as I bet, before I could even finish the statement, he came barreling out of his room so I could sweep him up in a huge bear hug, lifting him off the floor as we both laughed with glee.

“Well if you just haven’t gotten larger and larger there Percy!” I said, teasingly looking down at him as I patted his head, rubbing in how he still didn’t come up to my chin. “Are you all ready for today? Got everything your big sister said to bring?” I asked him, chuckling as he ran back into his room to finish prepping for our outing. Looking over into the kitchen where Aspen was finishing up, I saw my other favorite kid in the world, little Ryker still hiding behind Aspen as Percy and I made our ruckus. “How are you doing little guy?” I ask, much more softly than I would with Percy, crouching down and letting him come to me, putting out my hand just next to him so he knew where I was if he wanted to come over. “Yeah I’m excited too Ry,” I said, gently pulling him into a warm hug as he whispered how eager he was for all four of us to go out somewhere. “Why don’t we get you to your seat since breakfast is about to start?” I asked, guiding him to his place where everything had carefully been laid out by Aspen. When Percy came back out of his room I asked him to stay with Ryker as I headed back into the kitchen. “Is there anything I can help with?” I asked, softly wrapping Aspen in a hug from behind, careful not to restrict her arms as she finished up. “I know you’ve planned today for weeks and I want to make sure today goes perfectly just as much you do.”
