It is typically said that artists are some of the most unappreciated workers of the world and this is usually due to people taking them less seriously than others in different professions. This wasn't unknown to Luna Novinta, a young woman who had decided to go to school to become an artists. Her parents had disowned her for proceeding this way, and now, it was just her on her own. She decided to move from a small town to a large city where she was currently attending one of the best art schools in the country. Luna was now in her third year as a junior. One of her classes was Artistic Expression, an artistic class where artists of different paths could be together. Luna came in and sat down, sitting in her seat, her travel mug filled with coffee. The teacher entered and immediately began to speak. "Alright, settle down now everyone. Today's lesson is on artistic design, and how it speaks to us in different forms." The class went on for a while and an hour later, the teacher finalized the class by stating, "Today marks the beginning of your first artistic project. You will be partnered up and you will bring me a piece of your art that reflects your partner. Whether this is a painting, a photograph, a sculpture; whatever you feel you are capable of. This piece must be readable as: Your Partner. Capture them in your field. You have two weeks. The partner pairs are written on the board." Luna looked up and noticed that her partner was Elliott Michaels, a photography student, and one of the more popular guys on campus. Popular, handsome, but also arrogant and show boaty... She turned to look down the row of tables and her eyes met his. She gave him a shy wave. @theking976

Great, a partner project, he thought. He continued to sit in his chair which was located in the back of the lecture hall as other students started to get up. Some left without a word, but most of them found their respective partners and began to devise a strategy on how they would tackle the project. Elliot wasn’t too concerned. After all, this was just a check in the box elective toward his specific major. He hadn’t even wanted this class, but was enrolled in it due to the professor being a family friend. Of course, that had its ‘advantages’, but for him the class wasn’t what he enjoyed. As he looked at whom he had been assigned, he realized that he didn’t even know who the person was. Judging by the name Luna, he started looking around at the various women in his class. It didn’t take long until his gaze met another’s who was staring him down. Naturally, he offered a small half smile showcasing his straight white teeth before standing up and making his way over toward her. Elliot was 6’4” and has a very ‘beautiful’ physique— he wasn’t overly muscular but his body was toned enough to show through his black turtleneck sweater and his khaki joggers. His body wasn’t what gained him mild fame as a young model, but rather his face. His bone structure, eyes, and overall attractive appeal helped land him a few modeling gigs early on in his life and helped him gain a few other benefits as well. As he finally approached the woman, he pulled his book bag over his left shoulder. “So, you must be Luna then, correct? Looks like we’re partners. I’m Elliot, it’s a pleasure to meet you,” he said as he extended out an arm. It seemed sincere enough, but for him it was just another formality. @The Legend of Vava: Scream Waker

Luna reached for Elliot's hand and she shook it lightly, smiling up at him. "Hi there, Elliot. It's nice to meet you. I'm Luna." She stood back up as she watched him. "So, I don't think I've seen you in any of my other classes. I don't think you're doing the same art genre that I am." She said, looking at his face. She had heard about Elliot before, how popular he was, how good in class he was, and also how he was a total player. He seemed nice though, so, Luna tried to push all of those outside thoughts away. She knew that her own reputation wasn't great either. She wore things that most people would only wear at a funeral, her personality was darker than most, and she didn't have any friends. She had people she was friendly towards, but Luna wasn't very popular, so having friends just wasn't something she was good at. "If you'd like... we could meet up later to discuss the project. Does that work for you?" She asked softly, tilting her head. @theking976
