According to Kaede it was Saturday, March the 13th. Which means Keien has been here for almost 4 months now. The longer she stayed in this house, with him, she felt the beast she'd put down reawakening. A part of herself she deeply hated and wished had never risen in the first place. She was washing dishes, it was late in the evening and Kaede... as usual was watching her. Keien had to get out of here, it was driving her mad.
Her hand tightened around a fork, her grip so strong that her arm began to tremble. Kaede was in the middle of saying something, most likely making a teasing comment, when she'd stabbed him in his shoulder. There was a moment of silence, everything had frozen. Their eyes met, there was nothing but pure rage in Kaede's eyes and nothing but pure fear and desperation in Keien's. It was the dangerous type of fear and desperation. The look an animal would give you once you had it backed into a corner.
It wasn't till a second after she stabbed him and their eyes met, that she was making her way to the door. Then she was on the floor, clawing at her neck and choking out strangled screams. The collar. Keien stumbled up and her back slammed into the wall as she frantically tried to pull the collar off. Then she was on the floor again, her face was stained with tears. The tender flesh of her neck was turned a reddish color from both the shock collar and the way she savagely clawed at her own skin. It wasn't long until Keien had stopped fighting, now she was curled up and crying as she felt her vocal cords and whatever else is located in her throat beginning to fry. Then it stopped.
She had assumed it had been less than 5 minutes. Kaede's words about the collar putting her on her ass wasn't a joke. Less than five minutes... most likely about 2. 2 minutes was all it took. He's going to kill me... there was a faint ringing in her ears that began to seize, she heard footsteps getting closer and closer. Then everything went black, she'd fainted. (edited)
