Being the least known of the Demon Lords, he has the most rumors floating around about him. Some say he doesn't exist, some say he is the weakest of the Demon Lords, so they keep him hidden to prevent bring the lords shame, other say he is the most powerful and command all things of the dark. Technically, these last one is the closest to the truth. Metztli is probably the most powerful of his brother, he just doesn't care. Even now in the auction hall everyone's faces were a blurs, nothing interesting about any of them. Demon lord Metztli, lord of darkness and mist, stood in the back of the auction hall his presence concealed. He hated coming out amongst the rabble, everyone and everything either disgusted him or bored him. He much preferred to be in his quarters reading. When he did leave he always cloaked his presence a perk of being the lord of darkness and mist. Metztli only came here because his brothers said he was the only lord without slaves, didn't even really intend to buy anyone. This was just a mere curtesy to his brothers. Until he saw her... Metztli saw her...He cannot remember the last time he was able to fully see someone's face other than his brothers. But this Fae, stood out. A fiery determination in her eyes that pulled him in. In an instant he knew she was....special. He heard the offers made for the Fae and without thinking he bid... In an instant Metztli doubled the last bid while revealing his presence to the auction house. "SOLD to the Lord of Darkness" Metztli heard the auctioneer say. Vanishing in a wisp of mist, and reappearing on the stage next in front of the fae. Metztli had wanted to look into these eyes again. A smirk comes across my lips though I can’t be seen through the silly little gag in my mouth. Obviously, they don’t like a girl with a mind. It goes quiet, and then the prices start going up. It surprises me a little. But then there’s this one voice that is heard over the crowd that absolutely doubles the price just yelled. I search for the face as they’re going, “ going once going, twice, sold to the Lord of darkness. Lord of darkness? That’s a stupid name. Well he’s not going to be getting what he think he is. I’m no make a little fae girl. I look for in a man who’s bought me only to be a surprise, but your voice above me. ‘ look at me and remember my face where it is now the purpose of your existence.’ Oh so this one’s a cocky asshole too. my eyes slowly raise up to the so-called Lord. Looking him directly in the eyes, you strikingly handsome, but I’m no dummy. The pretty ones of the dangerous ones. Hence why I’m so gorgeous. I rolled my eyes at this ”Lord” and look away. I made a mistake. And a mistake for me means the auction house, and that means selling me. And I hated that. Being a fae and growing up without a dad made it so that’s trouble was my middle name. I got into lots of trouble as a kid but then I got better. Basically cause my mom made me, but all that changed on my 21 birthday. On the morning of my 21st, my mom decided to take it a little too far. She normally nitpicks and attacks the little things that I do. But on this morning, she just took it a little too far. She started yelling at me, blaming me for the reason why my father left. Not really fair since she’s the one that had the affair. Along with she did end up, killing him, so not really sure how that ended up being my fault. That’s not really important to this part of the story though. This part of the story comes in where I killed my own mother. The cops in my town seem to believe that killing someone is taking a little too far and is worthy of the auction. I see how it’s reasonable but they still didn’t listen. They didn’t understand that that woman abused me, it was simply self-defense. But that didn’t matter. I was taken from the police station straight to the auction house, gagged in with my hands behind my back. I didn’t appreciate the grip on either side of my body. Holding me by my arms, dragging me towards the stage. I could hear the girls up on the stage pleading to be let free. I would not be such a girl. If they decided to put me on that stage, and if I was sold, my new “owner” would have one hell of a bitch on his hands, or heard from not sure which one will be picked. Though when they throw me on the stage, and I make eye contact with every single one of them. Seems to scare the bidders for a minute. They’re not used to and fae girl looking them directly in their eyes. Knowing that what they’re doing is inhumane.

I look down at this fae girl and feel only a small bit of emotion beyond my normal void of feeling. I watch her roll her eyes and look away. I don't really care that she looked away, but what if I look weak in front of this crowd? should I try to invoke fear? I would be more annoyed if any more rumors were to spread it would only cause my brothers to bother me more. With a sigh I use a dark ability that only demon lords know, an ability in some little degree helps keeps the demon lords in power, the ability to invoke fear... I focus on the fae, forcing darkness into her mind, forcing it to close around any thoughts of bravery. I hate this ability it's so much effort Taking was sense of rebellion and replacing it with dread. Why couldn't she just look at me when I asked this is such work. "Look at me. I am the Demon Lord of Darkness and mist. You will obey or I will shatter you mind into such depths of despair, even the goddess of light cannot save you"

When I feel his entry into my mind a shiver of cold rushes over my body. I shiver in reaction to the cold fear. But the silly little lord forgets that I grew up with fear. Fear is a common occurring friend of my mine. I know him better than most. But this, this was different. I huff at his demand and glare at the crowd before us. I always hated an audience and shows. I try to speak to the imbecile but I scoff. I liked to defy him. Cause they he has to worry about his image, whilst i have nothing to loose. I’m just fine as I am. Just to see how far I can push him, i giggle and sit there keeping my eyes from him. Make him squirm. Watch him worry. If there was a small ember of emotion, now it is a spark. this now goes beyond the my uncaring attitude. I may not care about much but even I know the image of a demon lord is necessary. I crouch down in front of the fae. I smile while looking directly at her. The smile was warm. It was a charming smile the kind that would comfort any women and feel safe. I raise my hand as a sign of good faith, and slowly remove the gag covering her mouth. With another sigh, I reach for her throat and lift her off the ground, an easy task for a demon lord. Feeling his hand close her windpipe, he raises the intensity of the fear curse. "Understand your place. The world you know is gone. Now and forever I am your world, your desire, your motivation, and your life. Continue to disobey and all of them will come to an abrupt end. Do you understand?" I lightly loosen the grip on her throat allow her to breath but still hold her by her neck. @ivette

When he takes off my gag I actually look at him surprised. What the Fuck? What the hell is he doing? What is this? Is th- My breath gets stolen when he lifts me by my neck. The fear increases slowly, and my heart beats faster. As well as the fear starts to actually scare me. This isn’t the friend I know. This isn’t the fear that I’ve grown up with. My breath Shit! He talks to me and I watch his eyes, then I finally get a breath of air and I take it in greedily. I watch him, not answering cause I’m seeing what he’ll do. Maybe I want him to end me. Seeing her eyes...those damned eyes full of fire and for some reason they draw him in like a moth to the flame. See this close for the first time he saw her face. She was beautiful. Not just the physically, she had what I can only describe as an aura of intensity that stirred a new feeling in the demon lord, a feeling the usually uncaring demon lord couldn't understand. All I knew was that that aura was mine. I found myself glad I listened to my brothers and came to the auction Those eyes are mine, and mine alone to enjoy I release her and let her body fall to the floor. Looking over to the auctioneer. "Gather whatever possessions she has and bring her to my castle immediately. I need not say what will happen to you and your family if you damage my property." The auctioneer bowed, "Ye ye yes my lord" the auctioneer stuttered as he too felt the effects of the spell being close to the fae. I look down at the fae smiling. Yes she was worth the time I took out the castle. I once again disappear in a wisp of mist as I return to the castle eagerly waiting for my new toy.

My body drops and I hit the stage. I hold back the whimper that threaten to leaves my lips. I hold it in like my life depends on it, cause it does. I keep my head down and letting my hair droop over my face. he talks to the auctioneer, but I mostly ignore the words to come out of his mouth. Mostly because I’m trying to find an escape route. It’s not easy being a fae in this world. But I do the best with what I have. I’m pretty sure he disappears because I am hoisted off my feet. Dragged away as the minute of respite is quickly taken from me. As the gag is placed back in my mouth. After being taken off stage is when I really start to struggle and fight. I tried to do anything I can to get out of their hands to get away. This doesn’t go over well, one second I’m fighting the next everything is black. When I wake up, I am in the back of a moving vehicle. With my ankles and wrists bound. I have a blind over my eyes, as well as the nasty gag in my mouth. I taste a little blood. Probably from when they walked me on the back of my head. I only close my eyes for a moment, but it must’ve been longer for the next second I am awake. I’m being dragged into a building. I’m hit with warmth but I know that it’s not somewhere cozy. But I’m finally tossed on the ground, I hit hardwood floor. I once more hold back my whimper. @Professional Shay Slander

"Enter" I command after hearing he knock on my chambers. Two large wolf men dragging the fae along the ground. I turn to see those eyes I again only to notice something covering them. I repress my mild annoyance and stand. As I walk over to remove the blind, I notice blood on her mouth gag. I grab her chin and turn her head. Noticing the wound on her head. Anger flashes. when was the last time I felt anger? I cannot remember nothing usually matter? She is mine. Mine. Mine not anyone else. I asked them not to hurt her...No TOLD them. I WARNED them. Almost instinctually I summoned dark flames and incinerate one of the wolves, turned to as so quickly his screams were heard for only a few seconds. The other wolf feel to the floor, and began to beg for his life. "Ma ma ma my lord we apologize. we tried, she fought it was the only way to move her" "Silence" I say in a calm voice "go be with your family for tonight the Demon's Guard come" The wolf runs out of the room as soon as he leaves the door "Deimos" I call. A demon dressed in the ninja like uniform of the Demon Guard materializes behind the fae. "My lord" she says. "Kill the auctioneer, the fleeing wolf and all their families" I order "as you wish" just as quickly as she came she disappears again. I remove the blind and gag looking into those puzzling eyes. "Are you ok?"

As my eyes are uncovered, I come face to face with the demon lord. My first reaction is to run and get away. To spit in his face, but his words stop me. Is he concerned? Does he care? I look at him puzzled. Confused even. But I quickly wipe the emotion off my face and look away. I Can still taste blood in my mouth, I curse under my breath at letting them get me. Now there’s no escape rn. “I’ll be ok. I’ve had worse.” My voice monotone and quiet. I’m not trying to provoke him. I more want to be left alone and untied. @Professional Shay Slander

I untie her and walk past her and sit back in my chair, reopening the a book. My back to her I can not keep looking at her "As I said earlier as of today you belong to me. I am Metztli, Lord of darkness and mist not that I care for any of that crap" Turning a page "what are you called and what skills do you possess?"

Just as the words come out of my mouth into the room comes my brother the Demon lord of blood. "what was the screaming? What fun did I miss coming from the Demon Lord of book reading?" He then lays eyes on the fae. "Ohh what do we have here? She's pretty." He reaches and touches her face. "Can I take her to my room for some fun?" I rise "SHE IS MINE" "You wouldn't know what do with her, she would break you nerd" An aura of darkness emanates from me darker than pitch black. My brother responds with one of deep blood red. Now standing face to face in front of the fae. Bloodlust almost palpable. After what seems like an eternity, but really a few seconds, the blood demon relents. he walks out the room "don't worry I see you around fae" I sigh return to my seat. "As I was saying, name and skills" @ivette

When he unties me I’m shocked, I look at him bewildered. As he tells me his name, my eyes quickly dart around the room, looking for the fastest exit. He asked me about my name and my skills. I don’t answer, though there’s another one that walks in. I guess the demon lord. Jesus Christ what if I got myself into. For once could I have not gotten in trouble. I’m quickly pulled from my thoughts when he reaches down and pulls my face to look at him. I resist the urge to spit blood in his face. Luckily, he lets me go when Metzli stands up for me and I’m “his” or something. But that’s not the thing that makes me run. No it’s the two black and red auras. That emanate from the two demons. I don’t waste any second sticking around to see what the hell this is. after finding what I think is the closest exit, I don’t care anymore I just run through the doors. Which is down a hallway. ”Shit.” my mind races with any escape I could think of. I end up running through door after door down hallway after hallway, till I finally find a staircase. But it’s a staircase going up. Hes got to have noticed that I’m gone now. I have to think fast. I end up opening the window in a room that I entered that seemed like a Library. I go out that window teetering on the ledge of the molding of the outside of the castle. I close the window, and I crawl my way along the building. Realizing that I am about 20 stories up. After the unsettling encounter with my brother now I was annoyed. She had run off after all this annoyance she ran off... I sit back in my chair, debating if I should just let her go she might be more trouble than she's worth. I start to go back to reading and before I could read more than a page my brothers last words rang in my head 'I'll see you later fae' a tightening in my chest made me stand. I closed my eyes searching for that aura I felt earlier surly she must be heading for the exit. Finally he found it down...no up? on a ledge? what is she thinking? if she is going to fall to her death its going to be because I threw her. In a wisp of mist I appear beside her on the ledge. I grab her arm. look her in the eye and push her off the ledge. I watch as she fall, falls deeper into darkness. Moments before she hits the ground, I appear and catch her. Smile as look in her eyes. With the sound of rushing wind we are back on the ledge. I push her again and watch her fall. Again appearing to catch before she hits the ground. Back to ledge, push her off again catching again each time letting her get closer and closer to the grounds. Finally, I teleport her back to my room next to the bed. I sit down at the desk pick up my book "Name and Skill?" I again. @ivette

I’m crawling along almost too a second roof when I feel a hand on my arm. I gasp shock, running through my body, when I am face-to-face with the demon lord again. Before I’m able to say anything, he throws me over the edge. I cream as I fall towards the earth, I don’t wanna die yet. But I guess I wasn’t worth any- I’m suddenly caught. I look into his eyes only for moments later for him to push me again. Again, the fear pulse is through me. Yet again, I’m caught but each time I get closer and closer to the ground. By the time he’s finally teleported us back to a room I haven’t seen, My mind is so full of fear, and my lungs, so out of breath that I can’t even answer the question to throws at me yet again. I was just thrown over an edge multiple fucking times. And you ask me my name and skill again. I swear to God this guy is a psychopath. I can’t fucking do this. I sit there on the ground, my hands in front of me. My hair wind blown and tossed in front of my face. I grip the carpet beneath your bed. I grit my teeth, trying to find the words for the torture that’s just gone through my mind. I mumble under my breath, just spewing words shortly in my native tongue. He tells me about his plans for me and why he got me. But why didn’t you get any other of the slaves that were on auction? Why me? Why couldn’t he just let me go? My breathing starts to calm, I losing my grip on the carpet. Maybe it won’t be hell, that’s when he starts to move. I resist the urge to flinch. He asked me to be obedient, and I can have a safe life. Safety is never been a top priority of mine. Mostly because I’ve never had it. But the person in front of me doesn’t need to know that. That’s the moment I decide that I will only tell him it only let him touch me when absolutely necessary. As long as I can stay back, he can’t take me wherever he wants. Maybe then- Out of nowhere. His hand comes towards my face and moved my silky black hair out of my face. This time I can’t resist the flinch. I jolt back, but the fear is plain to see in my actions. I mentally curse myself for showing it. I turned my face from him, trying to hide any part of my emotion. So many come rushing at me. I struggle to handle them all at once, but I don’t let him know. He’s tired of being a demon lord? Having all this power and he’s tired of it? I don’t understand. But he said as long as I don’t run he’ll leave me alone. Not the most ideal plan but it’s better than other things. At least he’s not experimenting on me. I sigh and look him in the eyes. He actually had pretty eyes and he was fairly handsome as well. A face i could get used to. I let his charm calm me, my breathing returns and I relax. The tension in my shoulders and back start to soften. “Why me? Couldn’t you have had any slave? So he’s blind, but he can see me great. I Sai, and finally let my hair fall back from my face. You can see the tattoos on my face from the times in which I made poor decisions, but they ended up looking OK and culturally appropriate for my village I was in. They are white into lines of ivory. They are put together into a mask on my face meant to hide my identity. Doesn’t help when the cops know you for that identity. I not a thin skinned as my brothers. But when others are around especially my brothers you will act your stature or those same thin skinned brothers will be out to see how thin your actual skin is. I smile knowing that I actually have a little bit of freedom. Compared to when I was with my mother. she basically tried control my every word, at least in private I could speak my mind. I appreciate that, though knowing me, I will more than likely push that boundary. “ I understand. Though I am warning you now I’m probably going to push that. Your brothers, are they little wimps? Or are they just little bitches that can’t handle the truth? I’m sure that a demon lord should have a bit of a thicker skin that a little fae couldn’t get underneath it. But seems I was wrong.” I relax back on the carpet and look at the ceiling. It’s ornate with carvings and little sculptures. It’s actually quite pretty, the beautiful green tones in the room. Also bring out the gorgeous, dark wood detailing. I let my mind loose a bit, allowing it to wander. Never letting it wonder too far that my guard is down. Still laying back with his eyes close. I laugh “bitches yes they are. Wimps no other than myself I could count the number of beings who could be them on one hand. None of them are fae. You would be wise to respect them…and me.” It was nice to have someone to talk to that he didn’t have to act all high and mighty around.

Wise? does this bitch think I’m wise? No, I like to play with fire, and then spite the bitch who gave it to me. He will probably slowly learned that respect really isn’t in my vocabulary. In this current moment in time, he doesn’t exactly need to know that. I should probably also not test how far that so called respect goes. But knowing myself that’s not gonna happen. “Yeah, I like to push my boundaries. How do you think I ended up in the spot in to begin with?” I giggle at the thought of a demon prince, wondering how a little Fae like myself got stuck in a auction house. Normally, my kind would avoid all actions that would get themselves put in there like the plague. I’m not too bright in that area. At least I like to push boundaries and not stop when I know I should. It’s not that I’m stupid. It’s just that I don’t care. And that not caring gets my ass in trouble. Hence why I’m in the situation. But to hell with it, I’m usually pretty good with finding my ways out of bad situation. The finding my way out of this one is going to be one for the history books. I’ve got a demon prince who can pop in and out of there in a split second that can see my aura in black. so escaping him, is going to be no easy feat. But I’ve probably been in worse situations. At least he’s doing a bit of trying to have a relationship with me. Not sure how well a that will work out for him, but we’ll find out. @Professional Shay Slander

I pondered her words, she like to push boundaries. I’ve never had boundaries and wondered briefly if life would be easier if some had set boundaries for him. Instead of being a demon lord forced to make decisions for everyone else. I usually leave that those things to my brothers but even sometime they force my participation usually I object. Maybe that means I push the boundaries of what it means to be a demon lord. I chuckle at the thought. “How did you end up in that auction house? It is rare to find a fae that as….opinionated as you.”

I breathe heavy and look for my pants, but your robbed and at the door. I dive under the covers to hide and disappear. You’re confronted by two of your older brothers and they look hungry. “We heard your new toy brother.” The older one of the two remarks. “She sounds delicious.” The other one smirks as their tongue glides across their teeth. “Why don’t we all have fun with her? They look at one another then you. “We weren’t really asking brother.” The oldest remarks. “No more informing.” The younger one smirks. They both move past you into the room looking for me. “Come on put doll, we don’t bite.” The younger brother coos. “Yes baby girl we just want to play.” The older ones voice is alluring and charming. @Professional Shay Slander

Now that pissed me off. “She is mine” I said moving towards them. They could sense my bloodlust The same black aura starting to become visible. I wasn’t opposed to violence he was a demon lord it was part of his nature. If they take another step towards her I will use force.

I was angry, especially hearing him call her a toy. Ignorant to the hypocrisy seeing as I was using similar words earlier. I summon black demonic fire to his hands “Brother I’m serious. I’ve chosen her as my mate. She isn’t a toy.” @ivette

There heads snap to you, my eyes dare a glance in your direction. “Mate? A Fae?” The oldest remarks with a touch of venom to his voice. They both look at each other for a second, and then bust out laughing. The younger one slinks his way over to you. “ my dear brother, you cannot take a Fae as your mate. No, no, your mate must be one equal in power to you. Not a low some Fae.” He’s taller than you, so he towers over your body snickering at you. “ you will learn a little brother. I promise you that. Fae’s are toys. They are to be used for a High and a pleasureful time. Then, when they lose their worth, they are discarded.” the older one, reaches over and pulls my face to look at him. “ I will admit you have a pretty one here. I wonder what those pretty lips could do…” He draws one of his claws down my bottom lip. I’m already shaking in fear, my bottom lip is no exception. The oldest demon in only recognizes this fear. I search my mind to as to manipulate the situation in my favor. Do I have something to offer? My older brothers rarely recognize anything other than strength. I’m willing to fight, but 3 demon lords fighting in this space Odette would surely get caught in the crossfire. An idea crosses my mind. It may not be the best but it may work against my stronger but dumber brothers. “Your right brother. I don’t know what I was thinking.” I walk over to the bed and touch Odette’s arm. The moment I touch her she disappears I send her to our northern castle. I look towards my brothers. “I meant what I said now that she is safe. I think we need to have a little sibling fight to establish some boundaries” @ivette

When he says, his brother is right, the color drains from my face and any panic I was holding back bubbles to the surface. I’m frantically looking between all three of the brothers, wondering what they could do to me. My mind running rabid with all the possibilities. I- i thought- well I thought wrong. I thought maybe he’d be different. Tears prick my eyes as I watch the demon lord, walk over to me. As he touches my arm, everything goes black, and suddenly I’m in a room all by myself. Everything looks completely different. Where am I? When your brother see that I have disappeared they are very displeased, and they show their displeasure through growling and snarling at you. “ how dare you take away the lovely toy that we were going to play with little brother!” Your older brother snarls. “Boundaries?! oh no, you will not be having boundaries with that sweet thing. I will find her. And I will claim her sweet innocence. You can’t keep that toy all to yourself.” The younger brother spits out the words like them in your general direction. “Oh, my dear brother, you have gotten attached to the little fae bitch. Don’t you know they’re only good for a fuck and a service. Then they start to get a mouth on them, and they get disposed of.” The oldest brother is not happy, and you can tell by his dark tone. the two brothers look at each other as they start to move toward you. They start to morph into their true form. “ You want a sibling fight? Well here it is little brother.” The words, spilling out of his mouth like ooze. Toxic and disgusting. Bringing shivers to anyone that hears them. For they are no good. @Professional Shay Slander

I laugh manically. "Innocence...Innocence like always your a day late and a dollar short. Why do you think she was naked in the bed?" Fighting was common amongst the brothers. Sometimes these fights left one or more out of commission for months while they healed. There are very few ways to kill a demon lord mean most wounds will recover over time. This meant when the brothers fought they were not above maiming each other. I don't change into my true form, while it is stronger and grants access to higher tier abilities it is slower. In a two on one situation speed is your ally. This was my only advantage in this fight they bother were stronger by far but I was always the fastest. I opt that ignition was my the best tactic.... The whole fight last seconds but demons lords moved at such speeds that a lot can happen in just seconds. First, I create use true darkness an ability that even they cannot see in but me being the lord of darkness can. While it does provide an advantage it is only minimum they will still be able to sense my general direction because of my aura. I move to the oldest of my brothers and summon my shadow blade. A thrust to the chest is easily parried by his clawed hand. Fuck. Where is the other? I hadn't realized he has already began to move in. Moving with grace and agility I use the momentum for the parry to spin into a slash onto the other. It connects slashing his faced diagonally between the eyes. "You motherfucker" he howled. He covered his face as blood began to pour.

Just as I thought I had the upper hand, I feel a large clawed hand wrap around my neck. I feel myself being lifted and then he squeezed...hard. I almost passed out immediately, but maintained consciousness. The other one brother even more pissed "Yelled you choose that stupid bitch over your own blood? He began slashing furiously over and over at me with his claws shredding my chest like paper while the other held me by the neck. I begin to lose to much blood. I plunged my sword behind me under my arm into by brother's chest who was holding my neck. I didn't have time to hear is scream because when he dropped my I used my last strength to teleport to Odette collapsed on the floor.
