TW: sexual content, mention of car accident and trauma, more tbd College, a place where one went after high school to make memories and to better themselves by furthering their education. Teagan once had dreams to aspire to, but after failing one course three times she had decided to give up on that dream... Two years in and she already was neck deep in debt and student loans and she just couldn't handle the pressure of it anymore. Sitting on the bus she rested her head against the headrest and sighed as she watched the trees pass by. What did one do when they gave up their dream and couldn't handle things anymore? They headed home which was exactly what Teagan had decided to do. The bus driver announced their stop was thirty minutes out so Teagan pulled out her phone and sent a text to the one person in her life who she knew she could count on. Hey Theo, almost home... you sure you don't mind me crashing on your couch for a few days while I find a place? Of course she knew the answer to that, but she felt guilty having to rely so heavily on him already and she hadn't even returned yet. Teagan could only imagine the disappointment on his face after she admitted to him that she wasn't doing well and had decided to give up college and just return to get a regular job. She was use to life going this way though. After being orphaned at sixteen she had been left to her own devices because her aunt who had gotten custody of her essentially dipped and only ever showed up if the states started to sniff around. . A tight knot formed in her throat and she briefly closed her eyes. That brief moment was over in the blink of an eye as the bus slowed to a complete stop, it's breaks creaking in protest. "Miss..." The elderly woman who had been sitting beside her nudged her awake. "We've arrived, might want to wake up now." She offered a sweet smile and held out a small tangerine. "For your travels." Patting her on the shoulder the elderly woman rose from her seat with her bag close to her chest as she started to hobble her way off the bus. "Ah... thank you!" Teagan called out as she rose herself, reaching above her on the rack and grabbing her duffle bag. She glanced at the bus parking lot to see if she saw any glimpse of Theo but there were many waiting for their loved ones. Hopefully he was there otherwise she'd have to hail a cab. Slowly one by one the passengers departed the bus and finally Teagan was at the glass doors, taking the steps eagerly as she planted her feet on the asphalt. She rose a hand to prevent the sun from hindering her vision as she looked for the familiar chocolate curls of her best friend.

" Come on Gregory one more you got this!..." he shouted to the man infront of him clapping his hands as he watched the man below him on the bench press take a large puff of air his arms shaking a little Theodore ready incase he needed to take the weights from him, his eyes beaming with pride for the client below him who was about to beat his personal best. " That's it....That's it go on! Go on! YES..." he shouted as the man below him managed to lift it up into the air Theodore quickly hocking his arms under the weight to put it up. " Gregory your on fire! Your killing it " he said to the man hearing the man chuckle as he pushed himself of the weight bench raising his hand the two men clapped before coming in for a small hug. " Ah Theodore I couldn't of done this without you, honestly dude...your worth the money..." he said causing Theodore to grin brightly. " Ah stop your gonna feed my ego..." he teased the two men chuckling together before Theodore heard his phone. " Go start cooling down, I'll be there in a moment.. " pulling his phone out he flicked it up seeing Teagans message he grinned, his chest aching a little to see she was nearly back, god he couldn't wait to see her...to spend actual time with her. e small crowds of people gathered a little bit away before he noticed her standing out in the small crowd, her brunette hair blowing gracefully in the summer breeze...god she was beautiful sometimes he wondered if she even knew how much. He jogged a little bit to reach her, already feeling bad that he was late. " Teagan...Teagan! " he shouted his smile bright when she finally noticed him he jogged right up to her and lifted her up into a hug spinning her round a little before finally dropping her down. " Well look who's finally returning little drop out..." he couldn't stop himself from teasing her, the smile still plastered on his face reaching for her bags. Her name was carried by the wind as she spun around, Teagan thought she'd heard her name and sure enough as she stood on the tips of her toes a very familiar face appeared at the edge of the crowd. She rushed forward, beelining for Theodore as he jogged over. Instantly she felt the familiar strength of his arms around her as he lifted her off the ground. Her own arms moving to wrap around his neck as she hugged him in return. He smelt so good, his cologne had always been a favorite of hers and she'd stole one of his bottles before she had left for college just in case she had missed him. As he lowered her back down to the ground she beamed him the brightest smile she could manage, even with his playful nagging. "That's me, hot mess, homeless college drop out." She held out her hands and did a little bow as he reached for her bags. She handed them over willingly and rolled her eyes. "It's okay, I'll be sure to give you a 1 star rating for the ride." Teagan snickered as they arrived at his car. "Is this new? I swear the last time I was hear you had something a little more....rough around the edges." She raised an eyebrow as he deposited her life's belongings in the back of his car and she climbed into the passenger seat. Teagan waited until he was in the driver seat and starting the engine before she cut him a sideways glance, her hands between her thighs in the seat as she took in all the features of his. He was truly gorgeous and with each passing year it only seemed to be more of the case. She recalled their awkward teen years and how dorky she'd been them, and him more lanky than he was now...but now... Her eyes dipped to his muscular frame as he drove the car, his arm muscles bulging as he took a turn. He was the definition of beefcake and she definitely still wanted a bite and that...was a bit of a problem. .

She cleared her throat as her cheeks flushed and glanced out the window. "What's for dinner? I haven't had anything but bus station snacks since this morning and I'm starving." Teagan thought it best to steer the conversation towards anything that could distract her mind from where it had been heading. 'That's me, hot mess, homeless college drop out' he laughed at her words then holding onto the bags a little tighter. " One your not homeless, your welcome to stay with me as long as you like, two your not a mess...hot yes..mess no..." he teased with a playful wink in her direction. Of course her playful words about the ride had him tsking. " Just one star?? Jesus Teagan here I am going out of my way to even pick your sorry ass up and you treat me like that? Careful I don't leave you on the side of the road..." he teased with another grin, god he had missed her, sure they had spoken and met occasionally but not enough for his liking, she was a amazing girl, one he was extremely fond of...probably more then he should be, but their was something about her, she just ...got him, more then any other woman had. Arriving at his car he grinned, the black sleek Audi standing out amongst all the other standards cars. " You like?? ...damn near cost me enough, but buisness is doing good so I thought I'd treat myself to this beauty..." he ran hid hand along the bonnet of the car clearly he was very chuffed with the car he now had. Opening the passenger side door he allowed her to step in closing the door swiftly before making his way to the drivers side, slipping in he placed his sunglasses back on and placing his belt on, the engine purred into life the music booming in the car as he quickly readjusted the sound so it was quieter, pulling out of the parking lot he made his way down the road adjusting himself in the car. "Oh my god, I've missed Marcos!" Teagan squealed with excitement. "I tried several different pizzerias in the other town but...just nothing compared to Marcos." Truthfully it wasn't even really the pizza that made the place so great but the company in which she had went to the joint with and looking at him now the nostalgia that welled up within her made her heart ache just slightly. She was glad that Theo hadn't picked up on her blunder moments earlier, only for him to drop the question she had been expecting at some point. "Damn, Theo can't you put some food in me before we get to the nitty gritty?" Teagan clicked her tongue as she tilted her head to the side, her hands moving through it as she glanced at him. "Honestly though? Like a complete and utter failure." A sigh escaped her as she turned towards the window, her head falling backwards to hit the headrest. She moved her knees into her seat, her hands wrapping around her legs as she continued. "Like, I think about if my parents had still been alive you know? I'm sure they'd be disappointed in me as much if not more than I am about it myself..." Teagan fell silent for a moment as she mulled over her thoughts. "It's just math, you know? Figured I could do it if I just studied hard enough but no matter how bad I struggled, how much I was tutored or studied I flunked each and every time. Over 2 grand, each and every time down the drain because I just wasn't up to snuff..." She let her legs go then and readjusted herself. With a shrug she looked at Theo. "I'll live, not everyone can be as amazing as Theodore Graham you know." She cracked a smile to try and make light of the situation but the truth of her own words stills stung deep down. .

"Mind if I change the station?" She asked to break the downcast mood that had settled in the car, her hand already moving towards the dial. "Shotgun gets control after all." Her eyes twinkled as she changed the radio station to the local pop station, one of her favorite songs had just begun and Teagan began to sing along in hopes that the topic would be sufficiently dropped.

Theodore felt his face changed a little as she grumbled about talking about her situation. " Hey look Teegan we don't have to talk about it if you don't want to..." he tried to offer before she suddenly started to spill it all out, Pausing at a traffic light he turned his gaze to look at her his face distorting into a small frown at the words she was using about herself. " Don't say that, your parents would not be dissapointed in you Teegan, not one bit...no body is, this is your life you have to do what's best and if its stressing you out doing all this then it's best to stop right?...life is far to short to be feeling like that..." he at least tried to help her feel a little bit better, he never liked her to feel sad or down, he could atleast understand her feelings, that didn't mean he liked her opinion of herself . 'Not everyone can be as amazing as Theodore Graham' he chuckled brightly then flashing her a grin. " I can assure you I am not that great, I'm a personal trainer Teegan not the Fricken pope..." he teased with another chuckle. " Go ahead...even if I said no your hardly going to listen to me anyway right?.." he teased with a grin, moving onto the main road as the song started, it was clear to him then she wasn't in the mood to talk anymore about things, and if that's what she wanted he wouldn't push it...at least not now. Hearing her sing he winced playfully. " Jesus can you hear cats?.." he teased preparing himself for a slap that might come his way, it didn't take much longer to get to where he wanted, pulling round a other corner he saw the pizzarie coming into view thankfully it didn't look to busy. Well here we are oh mighty Decker, let's go get you fed so you can cheer the fuck up..." he teased with another grin pulling into the parking lot and jumping out, hurrying round to the passenger side to open the door for her. @EnchantedNymph

"I will have you know I have attracted birds with my singing." She crossed her arms and feigned being upset, her head shaking side to side as they pulled into the restaurant parking lot. Teagan tried her best to mimic is voice as he opened her door for her. "Here we are oh mighty Decker." She punched his arm as she climbed out and stuck her tongue out at him. "How flattered I am that the pope opened my door for me." With a snort of laughter she effortlessly locked arms with him and pulled him to the bright red door that looked like it had gotten a fresh coat of paint recently. "If pizza and your face don't cheer me up I am afraid I'll be doomed for all eternity..." She lifted her free hand that wasn't looped on his arm and placed the back of it on her forehead in a dramatic display. "Woe is me; give me extra cheese!" Once inside their senses were assaulted by the smell of baking dough and garlic, it instantly made her mouth water and she groaned as she pulled Theo further inside going straight to the booth she had deemed as theirs way back in their youth. The wall even still held the small doodle she had drawn once upon a time with a sharpie much to the owners protest. She'd managed to convince him to leave it by working free for a summer delivering pizzas in her beat up bug. Her heart squeezed as she slid into that familiar vinyl seats with their red and green accents still as tacky. .

"It's still here..." She bit her lip and traced the small heart with their initials in it. "I had my ass chewed out for it, but it was so so worth it. Still seeing it here now..." She glanced up at him, her chocolate brown eyes hidden partially by her long lashes. "Anyway-" The waitress came up with a little order book and smiled at the two. "What can I get ya both today?" Teagan glanced from Theo to the waitress and back before speaking. "I'll take a sweet tea, hardly any ice." She'd wait for Theo to add his own drink to the order before she continued. "As for food I don't even need to look at the menu. I'd like the Napoletana pizza and a side of the garlic twists and a slice of the chocolate cake!" Her mouth watered even more so at the thought of the cake and she flushed. "Ah..." She cleared her throat. "If you're okay with that." She looked at him a moment, her eyes twinkling as she practically bounced on the booth seat. @❤ Amari ❤

Of course he didn't miss the way she mocked him causing him to frown playfully down to her shaking his head at her stupidity. " Sometimes I wonder why I'm even your friend, everything I do and you just give me stick.." he grumbled, hearing her laugh he nudged her. " Keep going Decker and your ass Is being left here tonight, see how you like sleeping in a bus shelter..." he teased before they stepped into the restaurant. He laughed loudly at her comments grinning almost boyish down to her. " Forget the pizza my face should be more then sufficient " he teased poking his tongue out at her, the grin a permanent fixture on his face, fuck he had really missed her. The smell instantly hit him and he groaned, he hadn't even eaten anything all day and he sure had worked up a appetite, he didn't get much time to actually relish in anything before she was dragging him across the floor straight for the same booth they always sat in, almost loosing his footing in the process, sitting himself down he looked to the writing on the booth and his gaze turned soft, his finger coming out to trace along the markings on the wall. " Yeah it is..." he whispered a small longing in his voice before he soon chuckled. " Ah he was so pissed of wasn't he... and you driving round in that god awful uniform to deliver pizza...I got so chubby ordering pizzas everhtime you was on just so I could laugh at you at the front door..." he teased chuckling once again before his expression turned soft once more he may of said something more before the waitress come over sitting back a bit realising how close he was to her. " I'll take a coke float ..." he said before he heard her wheeling of the food she wanted, his brow raised shaking his head with a chuckle. In the same mock tone she'd used earlier she straightened, ran a hand through her hair much like he did from time to time. "No cake for me...I'm sweet enough." After mimicking even his wink Teagan's face scrunched up like she'd stepped in gum or something worse. A shake of the head and she sighed, "Laying on thick aren't you?" She sighed as she leaned back against the booth. "Not that I'm surprised...but what happened to that last chick you were seeing...what was her name again? Err... Katherine, Katie...Kay...something." She knew that Theo was good looking, hell she'd catch her own self admiring her best friend from time to time but in the end she had never done anything about it because that was a boundary she thought she shouldn't cross. She fiddled with the wrapped silverware napkin, her eyes downcast as she chewed on her lip. It wasn't like she was begging for attention, but if he'd just look at her the way he looked at other women then maybe... No; Nope... can't go there. Teagan looked at Theo, "You should ask for her number, she seemed super into you." Can't blame her really... The waitress returned in record time with their drinks and placed them in front of each of them and set the garlic knots down in the center of the table. Her eyes honing in on Theo and Teagan fought the urge to jokingly gag. "Can I get you anything else? Anything at all?" The waitress batted her eyelashes, her cheeks still flush and Teagan had about had it. "Excuse me..." She slid from the booth and headed for the ladies room, she needed a minute, after having lost something else yet again that she'd wanted she couldn't face what was going on at the table. It wasn't like she had a problem with the waitress but Theo was hers or at least...in this moment. She hadn't seen him in months and it irritated her more than it should that the waitress was being so blatant with her flirtations. .

Once in the bathroom Teagan washed her hands before splashing herself with cold water. Her chocolate brown eyes staring back at her as the water droplets made their way down her face. "What is wrong with you? What you have your life going up in flames and suddenly you think things could change?" She snorted. "Get a grip, Decker. He's off limits." She heard a toilet flush and her face went red. Quickly she grabbed a paper towel and dried her hands. Teagan was out the door and headed back towards the table, the waitress already having departed, thankfully. @❤ Amari ❤

His eye brow rose the second he heard her mocking him, the way her tone changed and the way she even mimicked his actions had a smile coming up against his face. " I dont talk like that you wrench..." he teased with a small chuckle sitting back in the booth tilting his head to the side at her comment about laying it on thick. " Ah come on Teegan I'm only messing around..I'm not interested in her..." he said waving his hand towards where the waitress had vanished, frowning deeply as his ex was brought up. " Kayleigh..." he said with a deep sigh shrugging as he sat back shrugging his shoulders. " It just...didn't work..." he said softly not about to admit it didn't work because theirs only one girl I want and that's you he mentally told himself before his own face twisted into a frown at his thoughts...he wished he could just tell her, but he was scared to death, years of friendship would be gone forever...he knew if it went wrong they would never be back to where they were today, which Is what stopped him from telling her how he truly felt. Of course he noticed her fiddling with the wrapper, chewing on her bottom lip his face distorted with thoughts then. " Whats wrong?.." he asked almost immediately sensing something was wrong with her, of course his frown deepened as she suggested getting the waitress number. " Teegan..." he tried to talk to her before the waitress turned up, watching her place the drinks down, he dragged his coke float forward before Teegan was excusing her self from the booth " Teegan?..." he called but she was of, he frowned deeply looking up to the waitress giving her a small smile. " No...no were good for now, thanks..." he said offering the woman a smile before he watched her walk of. By the time she returned he hadn't touched the garlic knots and was still busy pushing the ice cream around in the soda when she slipped back in. A nervous laugh escaped her at his comment about being in love with him. Her eyes glancing down at his hand on top of hers and her heart squeezed uncomfortably. "Yeah...right... who'd believe that." She looked away as she picked up the straw and took off its protective wrap. She slid the straw into the glass and took a long drink of her tea. Her eyes burning the image of the small black heart with their initials into her mind. How hard would it be to just own up to it? To turn to him right in this moment and say 'Yes, I am in love with you. Have been since homecoming junior year.' She wiped at her nose to remove the garlic butter that had remained on her nose. Her face was flushed faintly and she grabbed one of the twists out of their basket and ripped it in half before dipping one of them into the little bowl of oil and herb garnish that had been provided. She stared at Theo as she popped a bite into her mouth. The knot was warm and tasted divine and she practically rolled her eyes into the back of her head as she savored the flavor, a soft sound of pleasure escaping her throat as she swallowed it. "God, I've missed this... Sorry to hear about Kayleigh. You deserve better anyway; plus she didn't like me so don't mind me if I'm celebrating a little." Teagan's phone chimed and she pulled it out of her back pocket. A frown on her lips as she began to type away at her keyboard. She sighed and locked it setting it upside down on the table. "So. Work seems to be doing wonders for you and you're back out on the market... anything else new with you since the last time I was here?" Teagan dipped the remaining half of the knot into the dip and took a bite. Swallowing she glanced back up at Theo. He had tanned a little more, and she could see the slight bags under his eyes as if he were tired, his hair slightly longer... Fuck, she had it bad. @❤ Amari ❤

The laugh that escaped her wasn't one he was used to hearing, she sounded...nervous? Was she really nervous about what he said? Or maybe he was simply reading to much into it, her teasing words had him chuckle a little breaking up his own twist placing it into the dip and popping it into his mouth. " I think it would take some convincing for sure..." he teased popping the rest of his twist into his mouth bringing a napkin up to wipe at his face lightly, bringing his drink forward he took a sip of it his eyss following her face then. He noticed the small flush against her cheeks and in that moment he thought she was the most gorgeous person he had ever met, it made his chest ache just to look at her, fiddling with the straw in his drink he tried to divert his attention away from her afraid if he stared to long he might end up saying or doing something completely inappropriate. Watching her eat he couldn't stop the small chuckle that came from his lips. " Enjoying that huh?.." he teased before his face turned softer. " Hey...I'm not worride about Kayleigh, she wasn't right for me anyway, always trying to make me do things I didn't want to do, and of course she disliked you, and their is no way I'd ever let anyone get between us..." he teased yet his commends couldn't be any more true..she was the most important person in his life, she had been for a while. He watched her answer her phone, seeing the frustration against her face he may of questioned her about it before her own question came his way causing him to sigh. "Well I have a new apartment, two bedrooms this time so guess who.doesnt need to sleep on the couch..." he teased with a chuckle before it died down a little. It was a little backwards, his comment about not letting anyone come between them but Teagan would be lying if she said she hadn't enjoyed hearing it. Generally when one dated someone they were supposed to distance themselves a bit to not cause problems but they always managed to make an exception for it with each other. The last visit she'd come down to visit him replaying in her mind as his ex had confronted her and told her she needed to step back. Teagan pushed the memory away and mentally shook herself, it wasn't important anymore. She was gone and the spot at his side was once again open and she need not fear being as close as she wanted to. Teagan listened intently as he spoke of being tired and not being able to sleep. She shook her head, a worried look on her face. "That's not healthy Theo, sleep is just as important for your body as anything else. If you're pushing yourself too hard you need to pull the reins in a little." Her eyes fell on the pizza in front of her and her mouth watered as she lifted the first slice from the plate. The gooey cheese stretching into a very thin line as she lifted it to her both and took the initial bite. Another sound of pleasure escaped her and she did a happy shimmy. Of course he expected her to get at him about not sleeping well , he frowned lightly playing with the straw in his drink a large sigh leaving his lips. " Oh I know, guess ...well..." he shuffled a little in his chair then perhaps feeling almost sheepish in that moment. " When your on your own work is the only thing I have to distract me ya know? So a lot of my free time I just do that, sometimes I don't even realise how much time has passed...BUT now your back I'm sure I'll get back into better sleeping habits.." he teased. He watched her take a bite of her pizza then chuckling to watch the cheese dangle down the pizza dropping on her chin unable to stop himself from reaching forward flicking some of it away and using a napkin to wipe his hand on. " always so bloody messy when you eat...." he teased with a small chuckle, taking another slice of his pizza he curled it up folding it round to take a bite of it, of course her next teasing words caused him to snort shaking his head at her as he chewed his pizza trying desperately not to laugh and spray it everywhere. "I can't help it. Up until yesterday I was a starving college student you know..." She huffed with embarrassment. She took another bite of her pizza as he went on about whooping her ass. "Pffft. Yea right. I know your ticklish spot. All I gotta do is..." Teagan trailed off as she held up her free hand and wiggled her fingers. Another bite down the hatch and she was already on the the second slice of pizza. This was nice, it was what she had missed while being two towns away. Sure they texted from time to time but she had distanced herself from him after her encounter with Kayleigh. Sitting here now with him at Marco's just teasing each other like they'd never missed a beat... She regretted putting that distance there. "There's a secret weapon all women hold Theodore. I just have yet to use your kryptonite." She realized then what she had said sounded like and her face flushed a deep shade of red. She quickly picked up her tea and downed a decent portion of the glass before flagging down the waitress. "Another sweet tea please." He smirked at her words as he watched her going for the second slice of pizza. " Jesus Teegan I told you a thousand times over if you was struggling ask me for money, you know I would never mind...you shouldn't of struggled you know I would help you anytime you need it...stubborn mule..." he teased, taking another sip of his drink as he moved onto the third slice of pizza. He eyed her suspiciously as she mentioned his tickle spots quickly shifting over a bit more pointing at her with the hand not holding the pizza. " Don't try it or ill leave your ass here..." he teased taking another large bite of his pizza and finishing that slice of just as quickly. He brought the salad over now, ripping the dressing packet open with his teeth he poured it over grabbing his fork to mix it round before he didn't miss her last words, he froze a little peeking over to her.... When she ordered the water he rose his hand. " Can I get some iced water to? ...just bring a jug...thanks..." he called to the waitress before back to Teegan. "I-" She flushed profusely and almost choked on the bite of pizza she had just swallowed. Coughing she hit her chest, her eyes watering as she shook her head. When the waitress brought the drinks she was thankful, quickly picking up her glass and chugging it. "So uh, any plans after this or will it just be a night in in the pjs watching netflix and drinking?" She set her cup down and stared at Theo. "And about asking for help...you know I don't do that. I don't like owing anybody anything. Ever." "Oh yeah, since it's the weekend do you work tomorrow? I know gyms have a twenty-four hour thing but..." She picked up her third slice, though she didn't think she'd be able to eat the last one. "I figured since you're a personal trainer that you probably made your own schedule." She focused on her food for a minute mulling over her next words. "But you being a workaholic like you are you probably work, huh?" She honestly didn't plan to do much more than become a living couch potato and mope on his couch for the whole weekend. Yet Teagan couldn't help but wish that he had made time to spend with her. He could drag her along to pretty much anything and she would follow willingly. Images flashed through her mind of the one awkward kiss they'd shared freshmen year. To play spin the bottle with a bunch of friends and seemed like a smart idea until it'd landed on him after she had spun. It lasted all of ten seconds but that moment had elicited the beginning of more than friend feelings. "You got a little..." She chuckled shaking her head and grabbing her napkin. Leaning over the table she wiped the corner of his mouth. Teagan was so close in that moment that she paused, her eyes locking with his briefly. "Sauce...right there." Her heart thudded inside her chest and she pulled back and sat back down. "I'm not the only messy eater it seems."

He watched the way she flushed now sitting at that table and he couldn't stop the loud laugh that left his lips. "Ah yeah, I'm done...thanks." Teagan watched as the waitress took the pizzas to be boxed up and she turned her attention back to Theo. "Ten bucks says she puts her number on the receipt." She finished her glass of tea and shook her head. "Twenty if she outright asks you on a date." She knew he had meant what he had said earlier but that didn't mean that the waitress wouldn't continue her flirting. "I'll meet you at the car, I need to go make a call before we head out. Thank you for the food Theo. See Decker didn't forget her manners." She chuckled as she grabbed her phone and slid from the booth. Heading outside Teagan lifted her phone to her ear as it began to ring. "Yes, I am Teagan Decker, returning the call about the open position?" She paused listening to the person on the other end, kicking a small stone that was under her shoe and watched as it bounce off down the parking lot. "Yes, I understand...thanks." She hung up and sighed. "We're sorry to inform." She mocked running a hand through her hair out of habit. "Fuck, can I just get one break? Please?" Teagan glanced up at the darkening blue sky. It was littered with pinks and oranges as the sun had began to slowly set and it was truly pretty as she stood there. When she heard the door open behind her she turned and noticing it was Theo she forced a smile. "There he is. I'll take those boxes..." She held out her hands for the boxes and waited. "When we get to your place I call dibs on the shower. Then lets get drunk. Like how we use to senior year." Hopefully he wouldn't tell something was up but knowing him he'd be able to read her too easily. "I need to let loose." A dry laugh escaped her as she glanced down at the number on the back of the receipt. "Not even a date offer. Just 'Let's fuck' damn Theo..." She took the receipt and crumbled it up. "You can keep the ten, but I want a favor from you later instead..." As he pulled out from the parking lot and back on to the road Teagan averted her gaze, focusing on the passing by buildings as he turned down the radio. Annnnd there it is... Sucking in a breath she picked at the spot on her pants for a moment. "It's nothing big...really..." Teagan glanced at Theo and for a second their eyes locked until he had to look back at the road. "I got turned down at one of the places I applied." Running her tongue along the inside of her mouth she shrugged. "It's to be expected. Short of working fast food a lot of places are going to turn me down. I am a college drop out, that doesn't exactly scream worthy of employment..." She stopped picking at her pants and moved to turn the radio back up. "And that is my very reasoning for getting black out drunk. I'm tired of feeling like shit." She leaned over, her head falling to rest on his shoulder. "Man... I'm stuffed. I'm just gonna rest my eyes for a minute. After having been on that bus for the last three and a half hours and all those carbs I need a nap." A slight yawn and she shut her eyes. Fuck why does he smell so good? He chuckled at her comment over the number. " Oh you've not heard? Dating is so over rated these days! Were looking for a new receptionist at the gym, someone to help members and stuff. You want me to put your name forward?..." he asked hoping it might at least make her feel a little bit better. At the mention of wanting to get blind drunk he chuckled. " Oh great I'm in for a treat then eh? You drunk...." he teased with a chuckle, but if anything he secretly liked her drunk she was always so much more...cuddly...majority of times she got drunk they always shared a bed, they never not once did anything.. .but having here their curled up against him was the best experiences of his life...he just wished they could do it all the time...not just when she was drunk. He leaned his head against hers briefly before he had to lean up to drive again. " You rest princess.. .it won't be long until we're back though and you can relax properly.. ." Of course her next words rang out and he felt paranoid then shifting a little away from.her. Teagan snorted. "And that is precisely why I dropped off of the dating scene...you know how many dudes got my number and just sent dick pics?" She shivered overdramatically. "I want to be wooed, chocolates...flowers...make a girl feel special, you know?" She tsked and rubbed at her eyes before ultimately closing them. "One. The job offer isn't terrible but isn't that nepotism at its finest? What if there was someone more fit for that type of thing and they get passed over it for me because I know you?" She shook her head. "It wouldn't be fair and I'd feel terrible. If for some reason I can't find something decent I'll get back to you on that." Teagan grabbed hold of his arm to make him stop trying to nudge her away. "Two. Pillows are meant to stay still. You don't smell bad...you just... never mind. I didn't mean to make you self-conscious." She waved a hand around with her eyes still closed. Truth was she liked when he had laid his head on hers for that short moment, her honesty was a bit more forward due to her truly being tired and if she had been more awake she probably wouldn't have said what she had but it was already out there. A yawn escaped her and she shook her head. "I missed you...you know I..." Whatever she had been about to say was cut off right as she fell asleep. She'd remain that way until they'd reach their destination, her head resting on his arm, half buried on his arm and the back of his chair. When the care would come to a stop she would slowly come out of her short nap, her hand moving to cover her mouth as she yawned. "Good dream. You wore a tutu... Maybe I should use that as the favor." She sat up fully then and unbuckled her seatbelt.

She was laying on him then and he didn't mind allowing her to relax against him ensuring the radio was turned down as they drove. "So what I'm hearing now is that I have a chauffer now?" She arched a brow as nudged her, giving him a salute as she began to follow him. "Yessir." Teagan arched a brow at the fancy door thinking it must really be one of those truly swanky places. The level of security was more than she'd ever had in the places she'd rented but then again she didn't have a job and had been a poor college student up until a few days ago. On the elevator she bounced on the balls of her feet, eager to see how exactly her best friend had been living since she'd been gone, and even more eager to get a decent shower. She followed him off the elevator and up to the door that must have been his apartment. Theo opened the door and she stepped forward getting a look at the place when he had bent down and whispered in her ear. Goosebumps spread over her as his breath tickled the hairs on her neck and she slightly shivered. Welcome Home. She felt like the tone he'd used was softer, more...intimate but perhaps she was trying to read into something that wasn't really there. Regardless, Teagan had a blush across her cheeks and chewed on her cheek hoping to calm her nerves. "This place...holy. You weren't joking about upgrades Theo...." She walked further in, glancing at anything and everything. The further in she went the more she fell in love with the place. "It's...huge." She turned to face Theo before she explored more. "Your room?" She pointed at the one that looked the most lived in before moving to another door, opening it. "Guest room? Holy, way fancier than a couch." She gave him a thumbs up as she went to the last door and at the sight of the tub she about drooled. .

She was right to think it felt more Intimate, because that's exactly how he said it, he would be lying if he said he wasn't atleast very excited to have her back, he had missed her terribly and having her here staying with him meant more to him then anything. " Ah its not that special...it does for me anyway..." he teased gazing around the apartment, he was proud of his achievements proud of what he had managed to do himself, he watched her taking it all in a smile on his face as he shut the foot flicking a switch and a lock was heard, he walked in holding her suitcase more watching as she peeked towards his room. " Yes that's mine..." before she opened the second room up. " And no...not guest room..." he said moving in he placed ber suitcase their. " It's your room..." he teased with a wink. He couldn't stop himself from chuckling at her inability to keep still as she headed towards the bathroom then, he peeked in noticing her almost love with the tub caused him to chuckle. " I just.knew you would be like this with that tub...I dont care Teagan you do as you wish...and..." he said opening up the cupboard he reached in tugging out a wicker basket both hands pointing towards it. " Ta-dah! Don't need to use your stuff I've got your favourites right here..or at least what was before you left..." he said rubbing a hand on the back of his neck, if she looked there were shadow gels shampoo razor moisturiser and anything he thought she used. " Just thought it would help you to settle in better...even got your favourite booze and snacks in...just wanted you to feel happier Teegan, I know its not been easy for you recently...I want you to know though, theirs nothing you would do that would ever make me feel any less of you..." he said tenderly become stepping back. Her face softened as he pulled out the basket of items, true to his words there was everything she could possibly want or need in it for a bath. All the same scents she loved all the way down to the right brands and type of loofah she would use. She accepted the basked from him, hugging it to her as he finished his little speech. Teagan couldn't understand what'd she'd done in a previous life to be awarded someone as caring as Theo. If she didn't know any better perhaps he did feel for her in a similar way as she did. He took a step back and Teagan stared at him. Did she need anything? Biting her lip she nodded, setting the basket down beside the tub before she turned back to face him. "Just one thing..." She rushed forward and wrapped her arms around his waist. She stayed like that a moment, with her head on his chest so that she wouldn't have to look him in the eyes. A slight tinge on her cheeks as her heart skipped several beats. She didn't say anything just held him. Almost reluctantly she let him go, stepping back and clearing her throat. "Just have a drink or two ready for me when I'm out." She tucked her hair behind her ear as she gave him a shy smile, her hand going to the knob before slowly closing the door. @❤ Amari ❤

Theo was ready to depart from the bathroom before he heard Teegans words he paused gazing towards her and maybe he might of said something before she bounded for him, he was a little surprised when her arms come around him but he soon melted into her, his arms coming up to wrap around her holding her close , he burride his face into her hair closing his eyes simply taking in the scent of her....fuck he was so deeply and madly in love with her. Suddenly she was pulling back, he released his arms from her peering down with a small smile. :" Sure Teegan...I can do that..." he whispered down to her before he left the bathroom to give her previous, he released a deep sigh walking into the kitchen as he ran a hand down his face, removing his shoes he opened the fridge and grabbed a beer out popping it open, going into the fridge he pulled out a few bits to make a drink he knew she would enjoy popping it in the fridge for when she was out before he stepped into the lounge flicking the tv on, he wasn't really watching it his mind was a mess of emotions. He peeked towards the bathroom his mind suddenly moving to her in that bath...how soft her skin probably was, how incredibly beautiful she was, he cursed at himself trying to shift his mind away otherwise he would have another problem to deal with taking a swig of his beer he flicked through the channels idly. @EnchantedNymph

After messing with the dials to get the water temperature just right Teagan put the stopper in the tub and let it begin to fill. As it filled she eagerly stripped out of her clothes and out them in a neat pile, not wanting to add them to Theo's in the hamper without asking. She was sure he wouldn't mind but she couldn't bring herself to toss her bra in panties in there with his clothes...that was an intimate kind of thing and while they were best friends... Teagan shook her head, the thoughts in her mind shifting back to how good it had been to feel his arms around her. The way he had whispered to her... She moved her hand to rub the back of her neck, completely nude now she stared at herself in the mirror for a moment. How was she going to survive staying in this apartment without crossing the boundary that seemed so concrete between them. "One step at a time. You just got here." Theo held his beer in one hand his other fist balled up resting his head against it watching what ever he had decided to put on , not that he was really paying much attention to anything that was on the TV his thoughts were firmly on Teegan, his eyes peeling up towards the bathroom door with a deep sigh, he simply couldn't keep his mind of her , and knowing she was in that bathroom sitting in that tub didn't help, he groaned at his thoughts shaking his head, this was not how he should be thinking about her, she was his best friend for fuck sake...she had enough going on recently without him making her feel completely uncomfortable to. Theo had spit out his drink and Teagan's eyebrows rose as they stared at each other. It was like time stood still for those few seconds and she felt her heart beating a thousand beats per minute. Her cheeks flushed even brighter as he headed toward her only...he went right past her to the bathroom and she blinked. "N-no, I didn't. Use all the water, I mean." Clearing her throat she slid into the room and before he shut the bathroom door she called out, flustered. "After spitting your drink out like that you probably need a mop!" She shut the door and leaned against it a moment. "I'm an idiot." Her hand rested over her heart as she took a few deep breaths. Shaking her head Teagan moved over to the bed where her suitcase had been placed. She rummaged through and picked out her most comfortable set of pajamas. She thought about what sort of underwear to put on and settled with no bra, she was a creature of comfort. Panties wise she glanced at her options. "What am I even debating? It's not like anything is going to happen... it's Theo." Sighing she settled for a pair of plain white ones and slipped into her clothes before heading out into the kitchen in search of the drink he'd made for her. With a drink and a bag of chips in hand she headed to the couch, claiming a spot on it before she picked up the remote to start browsing channels. She settled on some type of horror movie that seemed to be halfway through, a blonde bimbo currently running in slow motion, tits jiggling as she did so. A snort of laughter and Teagan rolled her eyes. "Talk about cookie cutter barbies." She sipped her drink and leaned back, her eyes sliding to the bathroom door. "What is your type anyway?" He didn't pay attention to her he simply couldn't he was in such a rush to get to that bathroom he didn't even realise that he hadn't brought clothes...he brought nothing and cursed himself then , he pressed his head to the door listening for her before he heard the sound of the door closing , opening the bathroom door he quickly moved across the room to his bedroom grabbing out a pair of shorts and a shirt he quickly made his way back to the bathroom before she emerged from the bedroom. She had been munching on the bag of chips when Theo had came out of the bathroom, her attention easily moving to him as he headed towards the kitchen. They moved from his wet slicked hair to slowly travel down his frame. It was very easy to admire the musculature of his body and Teagan found herself inhaling air into her lungs. She blew the air out, returning her attention to the movie as he rummaged through the fridge. Teagan rolled her eyes and scoffed at him. "I'll remember you said that if we ever end up in a horror movie plot. I'll just trip your ass and run like hell." She stuck her tongue out at him as he flipped through the channels. She had missed their banter more than anything, while they had talked from time to time on the phone it was just never up to the amount of when they were together. She watched him as he took a sip of his drink. "And there is absolutely nothing wrong with Dr. Pepper. It's the best soda in existence." His arm being on the back of the couch had made him more accessible and Teagan took that as an open invitation, resting up against him. It was almost a perfect fit and she sighed content as she watched him flip through the channels. "Ooooh, an action thriller. Wanna make it interesting? Anytime there's a scream, someone trips while running away or anything equally ridiculous we take shots?" She looked up at Theo, a smirk on her lips. "Unless you don't think you can handle your alcohol as good as I can..." Teagan poked him in the side, "I remember the last time we did that...we both got so drunk. Ah, good times then." " But alright you wanna do that game..." he teased going into the cupboard he pulled out a bottle of apple sours, and two small glasses. Shaking her head Teagan clicked her tongue. "Waking up in a bathtub just shows you how wild of a night it was. How'd we get there, what were we doing beforehand? Who knows?" She grinned, he was teasing her but she brushed it off when he said she had no proof she won. "I do want to play that game, and I'll win." She watched as Theo got up and went to a cabinet, the apple sours he got had her interest immediately and Teagan bounce excitedly in her spot on the couch. "Oh we will see about that pretty boy!" She nudged him with her shoulder as he sat back down, placing each glass on the table and poured their first shots. As the movie went on shot after shot was taken by both of them and with each one Teagan felt the warmth begin to spread throughout her body. At some point she had moved to the floor on her knees as she intently watched the movie awaiting the next shot. She had lost count when they had moved into the double digits. A scream echoed from the television and Teagan downed the next shot slamming it down on the table. "Theo~" She turned towards him her hands on his legs as she leaned forward, her cheeks rosy in hue due to the amount of alcohol. "If you win, what would...you want as a prize?" Her eyebrows scrunched together as she poked his chest. "I know what I'd want but I can't tell you right now." There was another shriek and because Teagan hadn't been paying attention she practically jumped in his lap out of fright. "Holy mother of-" Her heartbeat was in her throat as she glanced down at the shot glass he had just filled up. It was probably a very very terrible idea to down the shot as the room seemed to move on it's own but she did it anyway, making a growling sound as the alcohol burned it's way down. If Theo was honest he wasn't even watching the movie that much, he was having far to much fun drinking and laughing with Teegan , he lost count on how many shots he had but already the room was spinning, the next shot he did burned down his throat , regardless of how many shots he had he wasn't used to it, another scream radiated on the TV and he groaned.. " Jesus christ how many more..." he almost slurred suddenly starting to regret doing this not that he would admit it to her.. "Tell you mine- mmm" Teagan closed her eyes as her swayed slightly, the movie momentarily forgotten as she felt his fingers trace down her spine. The feeling of his breath in her hair caused goosebumps to form along her arms. The show while it had been interesting for the first few episodes became just background noise as she scrolled through a job listing site. Her thumb nail making a soft clicking sound as she chewed on it. None of the ones available were anything she felt like would fit her and it only heightened her frustrations. She'd already applied to three different positions and a variety of places. The secretary gig had been the one who had declined her for employment which left the daycare gig or the one at the nursing home. Teagan didn't rightly imagine herself in either of those sorts of jobs but she needed one that paid. Something had to give to make up for the loads of money on student loans she owned. Sighing she gave up, tossing her phone onto the other end of the couch as she got comfortable on the couch, one pillow hugged to her while her head rested on the other. She browsed some of the streaming services Theo had before she settled on some rom-com movie. Super cheesy and an added bonus was that it starred Ryan Reynolds. One of the few celebrity guys on her 'would fuck' list. Sighing she let her foot hang off the couch and rocked it back and forth. Teagan stopped the movie halfway through to grab a snack, opting for something healthy for once, an apple and a glass of water before going back into the living room to finish the movie. By the time the end credits scene were rolling across the screen she'd fallen into a light nap, the pillow once again cuddled up against her chest though her feet were tucked up under the back of the couch cushion.
