Ilyana smiled as she easily blended into the scene. As she got situated, her eyes always drifting about, she spotted another elf. This made her nearly freeze where she stood, were her eyes deceiving her? She even narrowed her gaze at him, briefly returning the nod.
She picked up that he was magical, but she avoided him like the plague. Whoever he was, she didn't want to interact, not here.
She got her food and sat down at a table quite literally across the room, as far from him as possible. It irked her, or something did, at least, that he was there. Why, she wasn't entirely sure yet. But she had a hunch she'd find out soon.
Ilyana's eyes drifted back to the kitchen here and there, in case they needed help. She would spring up and lend her helping hands as always, she never ignored that need.
Her mind kept drifting and thinking about this stranger though. Something felt familiar, and it took her a while for it to click. When she realized, she looked over to him again to see if he was still glancing in her direction. If so, she'd have to make a decision if she wanted to engage in conversation or not. And that was a difficult choice to make. (edited)
