The atmosphere, the music, the people, dancing, everything seemed alright and good in that moment to him and he had literally been craving for this, he realised as he took a sip from his drink.. But as he would notice take her sip and start fidgeting with her dress, he did worry if she was uncomfortable.. But when he heard her question, he smiled trying to be positive as he would repeat and say,
"Do you want to give dancing a shot?"
And hearing her say that she wasn't sure, he would smile back taking another sip as he tried to work up the courage to do what he has in his mind as he held onto her hand, placed his drink on the bar top, then took his hand to her drink to place that into the bar top as well as he would pull her along with him until they found themselves on the dance floor, not in the center though, infact almost on the outer sides as he wrapped his arm around her to say,
"Trust me, I don't know how to either, but the good thing is no one knows us and we can just make a fool of ourselves, but we will have fun tonight, that's for certain.."
And observing how everyone else danced almost glued to their partner, with the exaggerated swaying of hips, he would position his hand, of the arm that wrapped around her back at the small of her back, gently starting to follow what the others were doing, although not as fluently or as smooth, he would try nonetheless and he hoped that she would join him as he hoped that she was maybe just worrying about what others would think, something he had hoped that he had addressed with his words, but wondering if something else was on her mind entirely and even if it was, would she let it go and just sway to the music with him?
