Night was never so simple on Eden 6. Without an organic sun within the system it floats in, sunlight must be artificially produced. As "Night" sets, the orange glow of the ring worlds lights give way to a spectrum of purples, greens and whatever other color the city's vendors thought to use. District 4, as it was known to the stations denizens served as trade hub for whatever scraps people could find. For those with a way with machines, it was a way to sell loose scrap, broken ship minds and other nick knacks; for those gifted in knowledge and medicinal talents, pop up hospitals and drug stores kept the station running.
For those who didn't know how to forage or grow produce, it was a place to stuff their bellies and pass the time. On this particular night, on a cold, quite corner of the large sector, two large men laughed over a kitchen counter. Adam was seated on a small comfy barstool, looking down into a small glass or orange liquid, wiping tears out of his eyes. "You're crazy Chen, I'll give you that" He chuckled, a deep throaty laugh that shook the walls around them. "Eh well, it'll teach those punks not to touch the produce! Thick egg noodles, covered in lichen and artificial meat was devoured in seconds before being washed down by multiple glasses of what seemed to be a flavored caffeine supplement.
