The wet rocks were not hard for her to climb. Her hands gripped each stern stone, pulling herself up with ease. Climbing came naturally to her. However, going into a cave did not. As they got to the opening, she stayed silent. Following him step-by-step, her eyes stayed glued onto the darkness.
Even as he stepped against the outer wall, she mimicked his every move. Even the quick swinging around the opening to face the darkness. She made a growling sound, but soon realized there was nothing inside. Blinking a few times, she looked confused.
"We supposed to be fighting something?" She figured he had seen something she didn't with all the sneaking around and stuff. But it seemed he was just being cautious of the new lands. That sounded like a good idea.
Venturing more into the cave, she sniffed the air. There was a lot of different scents inside. Some were very old, and some were semi-fresh. Yet, she could tell nothing had been at the opening for at least some time. Looking further in, she saw that the cave continued to tunnel deeper into the mountain. She could tell that something had gone down into these caverns at least a few times.
Crouching down to all fours, she slinked forward and inspected the ground. Old claw marks were embedded into the rocky floor of the cave. "Something went in there at some point and never came out. I have a feeling if we go too deep inside, we might find something we don't want."
Sitting down onto her rear, she crossed her legs and shook her head to get some of the water off of her hair. "All the tree's are wet, so making a fire will be hard to do... So I guess we just sleep here and hope for the best? Hunting will be hard in this weather too. Rain makes everything so icky." She stuck out her tongue, making a disgusted face about the situation they were in.
