Adeline had always loved living in the city. From the busy streets always buzzing with life, to the interesting people you would meet at every turn. Everything about it made her feel alive. She had just finished up a busy day at work to wrap up the week and while being a personal assistant had it's perks she was ready to shake off the day and relax. She headed home and unlocked the door to her apartment, ate a dinner she had prepared a few days prior and hopped in the shower. Once she was done she set her long hair I to loose curls and put on a fresh face of makeup. She wasn't planning on meeting anyone out tonight but there was no reason to not look nice anyways. Once she was ready she grabbed her purse and made her way out the door to walk the busy sidewalks to her favorite bar, completely unaware of the predatory eyes that landed on her halfway there. She smiled to herself once she walked inside, a few familiar faces among the people chattering inside. "I'll take a vodka soda" she said when the bartender finally caught her eye, taking that first sip with a sigh of relief. @Ashu

The bright sun light during the day was always a pain in the neck for Sebastian, since it was the time he was weak and vulnerable the most. Sleep through the day and being an night owl was his lifestyle, todya was no different the moment the last ray of light went down he woke from his slumber messy and drained. Vampire can live without consuming blood for a while but it does put on a strain on their ability and it has been quite some time since since He has had a good sip out of someone. Getting out of his bed to get freshen up he has recently decided to work at a bar as a bartender, living with the humans he didn't have to try that hard to blend in, hiding his fangs and he would be your avarage human nothing suspicious. He swiftly got dressed for the night and made his way to the place, working at the bar had it's own reasons, if one place he could find people at any time of the night it would be the bars since apparently humans can't stop themselves from drinking. Reaching the bar he entered from the back door, grabbing an apron along the way and ready to take over for his shift. @𝓒𝓻𝔂𝓫𝓪𝓫𝔂 𝓚𝓲𝓽 🌸

She'd be lying if she said the bartender coming in for the late shift didn't catch her eye. He was handsome, almost disturbingly so and she swore he breath caught in her throat when she tried to order another drink. She managed to stutter out her order and gave him a shy smile when he slid her drink across the bar and felt her cheeks heat up. He's just doing his job Adeline relax she thought to herself as she took a sip

Walking into his shift he took orders left and right, the extra agility helped quite a bit. The bar wasn't thay crowded for the night when he took the order from the beautiful lady, who was already down one drink, has seen her around but never during his shift. What is she up to dressed up like a bomb tonight, couldn't be that she is on a date or something though crossed his mind. To settle his curiosity he couldn't help but ask "Waiting for someone? Oh my god is he talking to me? She turned to look to see if there was anyone else the man behind the bar could be talking to and a blush settled on her cheeks when there wasn't God do I really look that lonely? I must look so stupid if people think I'm waiting on someone The truth was she hadn't been on a date, or even hooked up with someone in what felt like ages. It wasn't for lack of trying the men in the area just sucked. "Oh no I'm just here by myself" she answered sweetly "have you worked here long?"

"Oh you know you know you are committing a crime right now!" He looked at her with all seriousness. "How a gorgeous woman like you be out here looking so damn fine all by herself! That is absolutely a heinous crime!!" He winked with a soft smile "And nope I just recently joined, this is my 6th shift" he continued the chat while preparing the drinks for others. @𝓒𝓻𝔂𝓫𝓪𝓫𝔂 𝓚𝓲𝓽 🌸

She cocked her head at first, confused about what crime she could be committing but then she broke into a laugh "I'm flattered, I just like to look nice when I go out" She watched him making everyone's drinks so effortlessly despite the bar becoming more and more crowded as the night went on and he never even broke a sweat "hey can I have another?" She asked motioning to her empty glass, it was finally the weekend after all and she had nowhere to be tomorrow

"Sure thing! coming right up" He nodded at her and with that goes on with preparing her drink. The night was still young , people were drunk and mistakes happen whn humans are in such a state. Across the bar sat a couple, seems to be a newly married one or like the overly lovey dovey one at first glance maybe, with how they can't keep their hands off each other they had definitely put on a show for the perverts, glasses on the edge of the table while they both made out with such intense love, something was bound to happen there, and it did the glass on the edge of the table was knocked down because of their carelessness. The glass needless to say broke, but the issue arised when one of them humbly decided to pick those broke piece out of concern, Broken pieces of glass are not to be touched without protection since it might cut, and so it did to the one that picked those up. A sharp corner of those broke piece pricked him, blood from the wound slowly began to flow out. Back at the bar Sebastian was just done with the lady's drink which he slides over to her "There you go a Vodka soda for..... " he said expecting to know her name just tuen a sudden urge to kill took over, behind his lips his teeths began to grow sharper and the smell of blood was more clear to him. @𝓒𝓻𝔂𝓫𝓪𝓫𝔂 𝓚𝓲𝓽 🌸

"Hey are you feeling okay?" She asked him when he suddenly stopped speaking. She couldn't help but notice the change in his demeanor. maybe he indulged in a little too much alcohol himself she thought, it's not like it was unheard of that's for sure. "Maybe you should grab a glass of water or um go outside to get some air? You don't look so good.. no offense" And she really didn't mean it in a bad way, she was just worried for the man. @Ashu

Sebastian's trance broke immediately the moment the lady said her last word, with which he turned his back on her and realizing what just happened. Not having a fulfilling meal over the last few months has taken a toll on body so much that any slightest whiff of blood and he is on for the kill. He sighed in stress looking back at the bleeding person with hungry eyes yet he couldn't kill them just yet, hiding those fangs of his he continued with his work. @𝓒𝓻𝔂𝓫𝓪𝓫𝔂 𝓚𝓲𝓽 🌸

She frowned when he turned away and got right back to work, acting like she hadn't said a thing. Something about the look in his eye.. she had never seen something so intense before it made her even more curious about the handsome bartender. She ordered another drink when she finished her second and could feel the buzz of alcohol running through her veins, making her less aware and much more bold as she headed to dance with some strangers, occasionally flicking her eyes over to the bar to watch the mysterious man @Ashu

Working at the bar he has come across many humans, they are usually females that get attracted to him. This lady was no different to him, a little sweet talk and she might just be ready to take him to her bed that's what he thought of her. Passing her drink, he watched her make her way to the dance floor, much relived he thought that would be the end of that customer but the constant gaze over him from a distance was a annoyance to him. Never the less he was to hunt today and he had the perfect target for, the couple from before were still around seems like they were to stay until the bar closed which was what he wanted. @𝓒𝓻𝔂𝓫𝓪𝓫𝔂 𝓚𝓲𝓽 🌸

Adeline couldn't help but frown to herself when she couldn't seem to tempt the man into anything more than his seemingly permanent glare from behind the bar. Once she had worked up a thirst from dancing she made her way back over to the bar to order a water, knowing she needed something to break up the alcohol. "You know I think you may be the least flirty bartender I've ran into here" She gave him a coy smile as he slid her water over the wood of the bar. I feel like I've been trying to flirt with you all night, are you not single or something? I can always back off @Ashu

Sebastian heard her complaining about him being not flirty enough which left him with a smile. He didn't expect to get called out for being less flirty. "So you have met other flirty bartender I suppose? " He asked giving her all his attention, his brown eyes looked into her's with curiosity, desire to know more about her now since she boldly decide's to speak her mind. @𝓒𝓻𝔂𝓫𝓪𝓫𝔂 𝓚𝓲𝓽 🌸

"Yeah of course I have... apparently not you though" She smiled and wrapped her lips around the comically small straw that seemed to always come with drinks at the bar "You just seem different that's all I didn't mean any offense by it" she decided to add on once his eyes bore into hers, she really didn't want to offend him but he was just one of those people she couldn't get a read on. @Ashu
