Tink.
The sound of glass being set down on the wooden shelf was just barely audible, though it evoked a smile from the man who stared at what he considered a masterpiece.
The masterpiece in question?
Two bongs, three pipes, a few packs of rolling papers, and a handful of lighters.
Argyle stood back, arms folded across his chest, nodding his head. “Perfect place, man. It’s beautiful.” Argyle said, only half-joking. His bedroom in the small trailer was starting to come together, the only thing left to do was put away the rest of his clothes.
Hawkins, Indiana. Argyle never really thought he would leave California, but after graduating high school with Jonathan, they moved. Argyle was excited to get a fresh start somewhere new, even if it was just temporary, and there was no denying that he would follow Jonathan if he so asked. They were best friends, and he wanted to make sure his best friend was happy. And if that meant moving to a small town that barely got sunlight, Argyle would find the joy in it.
And it wasn’t hard to find joy. At least not for Argyle. His head was always up in the clouds, mostly because he was almost constantly stoned.
“Hey! Jonathan! Come check it out, dude!” Argyle called out, turning towards the door to wait for his roommate to come.
