The soft sounds of his name on her lips was causing his blood to pump through him harder. She had yelled at him, called for him and spoken to him with so much annoyance that one would likely think they were siblings rather than rivals. She had spat his name at him and about him for years, but when she hummed it inches away from his own lips, it was a magnetic attraction that couldn’t keep him away. As soon as he saw her lean towards him, he slowly closed the space between them and gently placed his lips on hers. Their kiss was soft and full of tension as he pressed against her a little harder. His hand came up to hold her cheek and jawline as his lips carefully parted. Every nerve in his body was firing at once while his mind was screaming at him to just take her for his own, but he ignored it all and spoke to her instead.
“Anna…” His eyes were still closed and his lips were still on hers, moving against them with every word. “We really shouldn’t…”
It wasn’t what he wanted to say, it especially wasn’t what he wanted to do, but it was the right thing. His fingers curled cautiously into her skin on her face while his free hand came up to hold the opposite side of her face. He made no motion to detach their lips, nor did he pull his body away from hers at all. Instead, he sealed their lips again before she could properly answer him. He held her face firmly as he leaned into her a bit harder, his lips separating to allow his tongue to enter her mouth. Hot breath collided with her own and unless she stopped him, he would continue.
Small, lowly groans came from his throat as his hands dropped down her neck, shoulders and arms, eventually finding their rest at her hips. With gently pulls of his fingers he pulled her closer to him until the only way she could get any closer was to hop into his lap. If she had allowed him, his tongue would dance with hers as he memorized every movement she made.
