He had no idea of the chaos in her life in the moment, and she had no idea of his, but in that moment, seeing the other's name on their phone made them smile. There was something to that craziness, something to all of this. It was a crazy morning, he had gotten woken up by the ringing of his Ring doorbell on his phone, finding Andrea standing outside and hearing her say, "If you do not come to this door right now, I will pound on it and scream and cuss until I get in..."
He made a note to save this clip for later on in the future, because it would be needed for court cases before walking down the steps. His normal pajamas, a white t-shirt and basketball shorts, adorned him as he opened the door to the blistering cold wind outside, "Let me in, Christopher," she would say as the door would open, trying to step in, "This is as much my house as it is yours..."
"Actually, Andrea," he would say with a frown, "My name is on the deed, your name is not, you refused to sign it remember, your credit would take a hit. So, I will not be allowing you in my house."
"You son of a bitch..." she would whisper, "How dare you?"
"How dare I," he would say, "How dare you!? Fucking 10 years of my life, wasted on a kiss, something that I am sure has happened more than once."
"I want my clothes," she would say, "I want my stuff."
"You can get it later," he would say, "When me and MacKenzie are not here, you will not disappoint this girl more than you have already..."
With a huff of disbelief, she would immediately turn and go back to her car. Turning it on and speeding out of the neighborhood.
"Dad," he would hear a voice behind him, "What was that...?"
"Nothing, dear," Chris would say to a sleepy eyed MacKenzie, "Your mom leaving early for the day, let's get breakfast. We have a fun day planned!"
