It was a bright and sunny day when the clock on Lillian's phone changed to five o'clock, indicating that it was quitting time! Lillian pushed herself back in her rolling chair away from her desk and computer, stretching her arms above her head. "Thank God! I was ready to start falling asleep!" She laughed, rubbing the back of her head as she stood. "I'll see you tomorrow, Elijah! Have a good night!" She smiled, waving to her working neighbor and best work friend, Elijah. She and Elijah had started working at this company on the same day, and because of this, they became friends quickly. Elijah was kind and sweet, always a hard worker, and everyone admired him, even Lillian. They worked together like a perfect pair and he always made her day at work better. Lillian's phone buzzed and she saw it was a text from her boyfriend, Chad. The text simply said, "Pick up dinner. Take out. Chinese." Lillian frowned a little. Why was takeout such a bad idea to Lillian? Well, it was her and Chad's two year anniversary, and their relationship had simply begun to get rocky. They hadn't been intimate in months, and it felt like they were getting more and more distant. But, tonight, she hoped to rekindle their connection! So, she forced a smile and sent back, "Alright! I'll pick up some chinese and will be home soon! Love you ❤️ " She watched as the text was read, and then.... nothing. A minute passed. Then two... and still, no response. Lillian felt a pang in her chest. Not even a 'love you too'? Nothing? Lillian cast a glance over at Elijah, forcing another smile. "See you tomorrow." With that, she headed to the front door. She didn't want Elijah to see the tear that slipped down her cheek. ~~~~

Lillian got home an hour later, two bags of takeout in her hands. "Honey, I'm-" Chad appeared around the corner and immediately reached for the bags of food. "China Garden? I thought you'd have gone to the Golden Dragon..." "Oh, well, they had a long wait time so I just-" Chad rolled his eyes and shook his head, "You should have waited then. You know I prefer Golden Dragon." He grumbled. Lillian frowned, but nodded. "Okay... Sorry." Chad immediately turned and went into the kitchen. Lillian frowned and followed him. "Hey. I'm home." Chad looked at her, then nodded. "Yup. You're home. Want a medal for it?" Lillian felt that familiar pang in her chest again... "I just.... nevermind." She set her bag of food down and then she went into their small bedroom to get out of her work clothes. She undressed and was about to put on her pajamas when she got an idea. Chad surely wouldn't ignore her, or their anniversary, right?

A few minutes later, Lillian came out in a black lacy baby doll dress with a matching thong. She had tied her hair back and applied a little makeup. "Hey, honey~ Why don't we celebrate?" She said as she walked over to Chad who was sitting on the couch, eating the food she bought and watching something on Netflix. She felt a bit upset that he hadn't even waited for her... She shook her head a little and sat down. She leaned against his arm, reaching for his hand. He slapped hers away, "Stop. I'm trying to eat." Lillian frowned again. She reached for the remote and grabbed it, pausing his show. "Hey! I was watching that." He stared right at her, seeing the outfit she wore. Instead of having his eyes glaze over with desire, he sneered a bit. "Why are you wearing that? It looks weird." Lillian blinked, hurt evident on her face. "Do...Do you even know what day it is?" Chad looked at her with a dumb expression. "Tuesday...?" Lillian stood up, glaring at him. "Our anniversary, Chad. Our fucking two year anniversary." Chad rolled his eyes, "Okay, so I forgot. We'll just go out to dinner tomorrow or something. Calm down." "No! It's not the dinner. It's not this dress. It's...It's the fact that you don't care at all." "That's bullshit." "We haven't had sex in months, Chad. Months!" "You're never in the mood! You-" "You don't ever ask me! You always just demand I give you a blow job, and then you call it good!" "Isn't that enough?" Lillian shook her head, tears falling down her cheeks.

Chad groaned, rolling his eyes. "Here we go with the fucking water works. Great. Now my dinner is ruined. You want to have sex? Fine. Let's go. If it'll get you to stop acting like a fucking psycho." He stood up, grabbing her wrist. Lillian yanked her wrist away. "Fuck you! You are such a piece of shit, Chad. I don't know why I even thought you'd remember our anniversary." Chad crossed his arms, clearly getting more and more annoyed. "Are you fucking or not? If not, can I go back to my show and dinner? I'd prefer it not get cold." He hissed. Lillian's chest exploded. A look of pure pain crossed her face, and she shook her head. "Sure. Whatever. Go enjoy your fucking show and dinner. I'm done. I'm fucking done." She pushed past Chad, ripping the lacy dress up and over her head. She tossed it into her closet and she grabbed a T-shirt and leggings, angrily pulling them on. Chad rolled his eyes again and went to sit on the couch. Lillian got re-dressed, and then she packed a duffel bag. Chad didn't even come in, didn't even try to see what she was doing. Lillian packed a few outfits for work, and then she exited the bedroom, duffel bag over her shoulder. Chad looked at her. "You're seriously leaving over this? Really? You're being dramatic." "Why do you ever care? It's not like you cared when I was home. Now you can enjoy your shows and dinner in peace." Chad scoffed, sitting back, "Good. I can finally relax then. Don't let the door hit you on the way out." He waved lazily, not even looking at her... With that, Lillian left the apartment. Tears ran down her cheeks and she went to her car. She tossed her bag in the back, and then she quickly drove down the road. God, she just... she needed a fucking drink. She went to one of her favorite bars, threw her car in park, and headed inside. She went to the bar and slumped into one of the stools, flagging the bartender down and ordering a double vodka and sprite. She needed something to drown this pain in her chest.

The day was extremely hot, summer was in full swing and it made the office increasingly stuffy, luckily for the AC that was on it took most of the heat away, sitting at his desk his fingers typing mercifully away at the keys his eyes looking to the small clock on his desk top, god not much longer..he needed a pint or two after this week! . Finishing of what he was writing he leaned back with a stench his eyes turning to look towards the woman next to him, her beautiful coppery locks framing her face perfectly, god everytime he looked at her it made his chest lurch ridiculously hard, she was so damn beautiful...so beautiful it hurt...suddenly she was finishing her work and turning he quickly diverted his eyes trying to shift himself and almost lurching that chair he was sat on backwards his hands coming to grip hold of the mahogany desk in front of him to keep him steady. He laughed a little at her words his hand coming to rub along the back of his neck. " Ugh...me and you both..." he teased grinning up to her, she seemed so happy in that moment and he couldn't stop the small frown on his face.

Tonight was a big deal for her, their anniversary they had spoken for weeks about it, she had so much she wanted to do...he just hoped the dickhead didn't ruin it for her, he was good at that. " Me have a good evening?..." he teased. " You better have a even better one that me..." he teased standing up from his desk he pushed his chair under reaching forward to save the documents on the screen before shutting it down. His eyes rising just in time to see Lillians gaze turn into a frown, he studied her face for far to long, even without her mentioning a thing he could see the sudden sadness that over come her, a sadness that over come him to. " Lillian..." he started but it was all to late, she had gone before he could say much more, turning round he gathered up his things he turned and left **** A few hours later and Elijah found himself changed and in one of his favourite bars in town, he was changed dressed in a pair of jeans and white shirt with some of the buttons undone laughing as he sat with a few friends nursing a pint, he laughed at a joke before he saw a flash of copper hair in his side eye, tilting his head he looked to the bar and suddenly noticed Lillian there, he frowned deeper what was she doing there?. " I'll be right back..." he said to the small group of guys he was with before making his way over to the bar. " Lill?..." he asked carefully looking to her face seeing the emotions dancing across it. " What's happened?..." @Vava Valentine

Lillian covered her head in her arms, crying quietly on the counter top until the bartender pushed a drink to her. After that, she rested her head on her arm, but staring at her glass. The last thing she needed was someone coming by and trying to spike her drink. How could Chad throw their entire relationship away like that? Had she meant that little to him? How could she not have seen this coming? He was always like this, wasn't he? He was... an asshole! An absolute fucking asshole, and yet, she had loved him. For two years, she wasted her fucking life. She kept checking her phone, and nothing came through. No texts, no calls, no messages from Chad. Absolute radio silence. Lillian was halfway done with her first drink when she heard her name. Was it Chad, coming to actually fix their relationship? She looked to the voice and her heart ached as she saw Elijah. "Eli..." She whimpered. As he got close, she suddenly wrapped her arms around his torso, hugging him tightly. She sobbed quietly against his chest, "He's such an asshole! A fucking asshole!" She sobbed. Her fingers curled against Elijah's shirt, keeping him close as she let out her pain and her sorrows. She never felt so hurt in her entire life, and now that Elijah was here, she needed him. Elijah felt his heart break the second he saw her tear stained face, an anger whipped through him to think that Chad was clearly the reason behind all this now, suddenly her arms were up and wrapped around his torso, he froze for a moment before his arms came up to pull her close, his head nestled into her hair smelling that sweet perfume she wore, closing his eyes his hand coming to stroke through those copper locks of hers. " Hey hey.. its okay.. its okay I got you..." he whispered into her hair trying to bring her comfort in that moment, hearing her anger and sobs only hurt him more his arms circling her a little tighter allowing her to sob against him as much as she needed. " Jesus Lillian...you don't deserve this..." he whispered into her hair his hand continuing their gentle strokes through her hair. " If he can't see what he has infront of him then he's a idiot....wh...what happened?.." he wasn't sure if he should even ask. But perhaps she wanted to get it all out, and he wanted in that moment to atleast bring her what ever comfort he could. " Look come on...let's go find somewhere to sit yeah?...we can talk..." he offered her his hand continuing their gentle strokes until she was ready to pull away. @Vava Valentine

His voice was so soft and as he soothed her with his hug, she could only sob harder. He hugged her tighter and she did too. The pressure of his arms felt so good around her. She sniffled, nodding as he offered to move them to another spot. "Y-Yeah..." She grabbed her drink and the two moved to a private booth. As they sat down, Lillian sipped her drink. "He wanted me to get takeout for dinner. So, I got takeout from China Garden because Golden Dragon was swamped. I had worked all day, so I didn't want to wait an hour for food, then drive thirty minutes home! Well, that was mistake number one. Then, I changed into this cute little dress... and... and he was already eating! He didn't even wait for me!" She cried, brushing tears down her face. "He didn't even welcome me home. He just bitched about his stupid dinner. Then when...when I came out in my dress he barely looked at me. Actually, he didn't look at me until I paused his show. Then he said the dress looked weird!" She downed the rest of her drink, covering her face with her hand. "Then I snapped at him how he hasn't touched me in months, and when I told him why, he grabbed my wrist and basically said we could go have sex if it would make me 'stop acting like a fucking psycho.' His exact words." She cried. "I...I left. I packed a bag and left. He didn't even care. I walked right in front of him, and all he said was 'Don't let the door hit you on the way out.'" He waited for her before walking casually through the bar looking to the guys at a table he was with signalling that he probably wouldn't be back before not giving them much more thought, he had his hand against the small of Lillians back guiding her towards a booth out of the way of the other patriots in the bar to at least give them a little privacy. Sitting down he brought his drunk forward taking a sip of it before she started talking, his hands came to clench together on the table his crystal blue eyes watching her intently his face distorting with frustration at what she was saying. " Fuck sake Lill..." he whispered the anger inside him almost boiling over then, what the hell was THIS guys problem? Could he not see what he had infront of him? How much effort she made constantly for him to simply dismiss her, her shook his head trying to push his own feelings away, this wasn't about him this was about her. 'Is there something wrong with me' those simple words made his eyes stare at her with disbelief. " Lillian Embershard you stop that right now..." he said perhaps a little sterner then he meant, his hands coming across the table to clench hers his thumb idly stroking over her fingers. " There is nothing...nothing wrong with you, don't you dare let that piece of shit make you think their is..." he couldn't control the angry tone of his voice then, unable to hold it back seeing the woman he cares for breaking down infront of him. He released one of her hands his knuckled hand coming to brush some stray tears from her face. " You are a wonderful person Lil, and if he can't see it then he is damn idiot...christ if you wore a dress for me you wouldn't see me complaining..." he teased with a wink perhaps trying to bring the smile back to her face, his hand coming to clench hers one more time. " I'm sorry Lil....im sorry this has happened, but your to good for him, you know that right? You deserve so much more then this..." @Vava Valentine

Lillian sniffled, nodding, though she didn't truly believe Elijah. How could she? She had spent two years being beaten down by Chad, and even as Elijah got upset, she just... couldn't believe him. His hand felt so good in hers, and she looked up at him. His compliments radiated through her. If she had worn a dress for him then maybe he would have appreciated her. Maybe....Maybe he would have loved her. The feeling of his hands on hers, the brushing of his fingers against her knuckles... The alcohol that burned itself in her throat and stomach and the absolute desperation for love and affection... it was all too much. Suddenly, Lillian leaned forward and pressed her lips to his. Her hand squeezed his, and she only pulled away after a moment. Her bright blue eyes widened, meeting his own crystal blues, "E-Eli... Oh my...Oh God I'm so sorry! I...I don't know what came over me! P-Please...I..." She was shaking now, her eyes wide with fear. She hadn't meant to kiss him but, maybe... maybe she did? @❤ Mi Amoire ❤

Before elijah knew what was going on her mouth was against his, he frozen for a moment her lips so soft and tender against his own, his hand squeezed hers then his eyes closing. Fuck how long had he wanted to do this to her? To kiss her like she was kissing him now? But then suddenly it was over, she pulled away her eyes widened with fear he shook his head quickly . " N...No its okay Lil..I..." he stopped himself then trying to compose himself his tongue coming to lick the trace of her away from his mouth, he could taste the drink she had then causing him to Swallow deeply. " Don't apologise for kissing me....not when I enjoyed it so much..." he whispered unable to stop himself from telling her that in that moment..." I meant what I said Lil...you deserve so much better then Chad, some one who will treat you how you should be treated...." he whispered he leaned forward then unable to stop himself. " Someone like me..." he whispered before he pressed their lips together again, he wasn't sure if she kissed him because she was emotionally all over the place or if he meant to...but in that moment all he wanted was to show her she was worth so much more then Chad could ever give her...she deserved so much better. @Vava Valentine

Lillian swallowed nervously. What if he told her he couldn't be her friend anymore? What if... What if she lost her boyfriend and her best friend all in the span of a few hours? She wouldn't be able to handle that. However, she felt his hand squeeze hers and he told her that it was okay. He suddenly said that she deserved someone so much better than Chad, someone who would treat her right. Someone like him. "Eli-" She stopped as she felt his lips on hers. Lillian's eyes widened for a moment, surprised (even though she kissed him first!). He was kissing her! Eli was kissing her! But, as she felt his lips on hers, she couldn't resist the pent up desire that flooded her veins. She needed this. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Lillian kissed him back, her kiss full of desperate pleasure. Her hands rested comfortably on his neck, her fingers moving to his hair. @❤ Mi Amoire ❤

He couldn't stop the small groan that left his lips as she kissed him back, feeling her hands against his neck moving up to his hair, it was something he had wanted for a long time, something he had dreamt about but never envisioned happening, now here she was kissing him...his hand clenched her cheek holding their lips together before finally he was able to pull back, he sucked in a deep breath his fingers almost digging into her cheek. " Ah Lillian....," he whispered his voice a little deeper in that instance, he pulled back a bit just so he could see her eyes, his hand gently stroking along his cheek. " Lillian...I've liked you...god I've liked you for a while..." he finally admitted swallowing down the lump in his throat for admitting his feelings. " And...I want nothing more then this right now, but I...I can't take advantage of you, not when your so emotional Lillian that wouldn't be right of me...but that doesn't mean I don't want you...cause...fuck it all I do...I just don't want you to ever think I'm a bad person Lillian...I never want you to think that of me..," @Vava Valentine

Lillian's body shivered at his groan. Gods did that have an effect on him. She cupped his cheeks, her fingers feeling the rough stubble on his face as she kissed him deeper until he pulled away. He was so handsome and her heart was pounding heavily in her ears. She wanted him. Fuck she desperately wanted him. He said he wanted her too, that he had liked her for a while, but, then he said he couldn't take advantage of her. Lillian swallowed, looking at him and nodding slowly. "I-I...I appreciate that. I do. I like you too, Elijah. I like you too. I...I don't regret this. I..." She reached forward, taking his hand in hers, "I want you, I think I just... I just need time. I need to make sure that...that I'm worthy of you." She whispered, looking down. "I don't know if I can be good for you. Especially...Especially since I'm broken." She felt ashamed. Clearly something was wrong with her. If there wasn't, then Chad wouldn't have been so awful to her.

He could hear her voice trembling as she spoke, his hand coming to reach for hers the same time she reached for his. " Hey ...its okay..." he whispered to her hearing the sadness and uncertainty behind her tone. 'I need to make sure I'm worthy of you' he frowned deeply then clutching her hands a little tighter. " Lillian...don't speak like that..." he whispered to her a hand coming up to brush a hair from her face " You are worthy of so much more then you think you are, its not a question of you being worthy for someone, its a question of them being worthy of you..." he whispered go her. " I know your broken, and I know your hurting Lillian, but you can't let him keep doing this to you...I would he lucky, so lucky to even have you look at me the way you are, you don't need to do anything to be worthy of me Lillian..." he whispered bringing her hand to his mouth he kissed it lightly. " You already are, it's me who needs to prove I'm worthy of you..." @Vava Valentine

Lillian smiled sadly as he agreed that she was broken. Though he most likely didn't mean it, she knew that in her heart she'd never be good enough this way. She was too... broken. That's all it was. She was broken. She needed to be fixed. Rather, she needed to fix herself before she could even feel like she deserved his love, even though she wanted him. Even though she wished she could just forget Chad. "So...What do we do now?" She whispered, looking at him. "I...I don't have a place to go tonight. I told him I'd leave and... I can't go home now. Not after that. I could... find a hotel I guess." She said softly, looking down at her lap. Did she even have enough money for that? Rent just came out of her account last night. 'So what do we do now?..' he sighed leaning back in his chair his fingers tapping along the table as he reached forward grabbing his drink hearing her diploma he shook his head. " You are Not staying in a hotel Lillian.." he grumbled shaking hid head again. " You can come stay with me, I have a three bedroom house theirs more then enough room for you to be there.." if she looked like she was going to protest he held his hand up. " No Lillian...honest I have plenty of room, please stay with me, I can't see you going into a hotel that doesn't sit right with me at all...." he said giving her a small smile. " Let me help you....I know you would do the same for me" @Vava Valentine

Lillian blushed heavily as Eli suddenly grumbled at her, telling her that she was not staying in a hotel. "A-Are you sure? I...I can't pay rent or anything, Eli." His reasoning was perfectly logical, and she nodded after a few minutes. "I...I would. You know I would." She sighed in defeat. "Alright. As long as you truly don't mind. I'll help out with chores and groceries!" She said quickly, looking into his eyes. "Okay? And this is just until I save up for my own apartment! Then I'm out. I won't mooch off of you forever." She was eternally thankful to have a friend like Eli. Without him, she didn't know what she would do... He was too good to her. He really was. She smiled softly, excited to spend time with him at least. @❤ Mi Amoire ❤

He smiled at her trembling voice as she asked again if he was sure nodding softly towards her. " I am sure Lil, what kind of person would I be if I made you go to a hotel hmm?.." as she continued on about not being able to pay for rent he shook his head again. " I dont need a thing..." but his words were cut short as she continued on about what she could do causing a small chuckle to leave his lips " You really don't need to do anything..I'm more then happy to help you , take as long as you need .." he reassured her giving her hand one more soft squeeze. He finished the rest of his drink quickly his hand coming to wipe gently at his mouth. " You wanna head back?...do you have everything you need? If not I'm Happy to take you back to get more, I'll be there incase you need me?.." @Vava Valentine

Lillian blushed a bit as he gently soothed her. She squeezed his hand back and nodded as he asked if they should go. "I have everything I need. I...I don't want to go back there. None of that stuff is important. It's just clothes. I can go back later. Or I can buy new clothes later. I just... I want to avoid him as long as possible." She said, looking down at the table. "Can we...Can we go? I need a shower, a bed, and just... a fucking hug." She whispered quietly, the devastation and defeat so prominent in her voice. She looked like she had been beaten up, and it was hard to say that she hadn't been. Sniffling quietly, she looked at Elijah. "Can we go home, Eli?" @❤ Mi Amoire ❤

" As long as your sure Lill, I'm more then happy to help if their is anything you need there..." and he meant it to, he simply didn't want her to leave anything back that she might need. He felt his heart break a little as he listened to her little ramble about what she needed most, smiling softly towards her. " Well...your in perfect hands Lillian, I'm more then happy to get you all those things..." he said, standing up he pushed himself up bringing the chair in behind him he walked to her, grabbing the bag she had his hand reaching for hers. " Come on, let's get you home and sorted...," @Vava Valentine

Lillian smiled, taking his hand in hers. She scooted out of the booth and stood. She As they got up, Elijah's friends came over. "Hey, Eli, what's up? You're not staying?" One of the guy's asked. Another looked at Lillian and smirked. "Who's the cutie?" He chuckled. "Is that why you ditched us? You dog, Eli." He laughed. @❤ Mi Amoire ❤

Elijah smiled to Lillian as she stood up clutching his bag In his other hand before he noticed his friends coming over, if he was honestly he almost forgot they were even there, so lost in being around her it slipped his mind. At their words he rolled his eyes at their remarks. " The only dog round here is you Jonas...I've heard your stories remember?.." he teased causing the other man to chuckle. " But yeah I'm going...sorry fellas but something more important came up..." he teased nudging Lillian playfully causing his friends to laugh and shout teasing words to them as they left causing a small chuckle go radiate from Elijah. " Pay no attention to them, bunch of idiots..." he teased squeezing Lilliand hand a bit harder as he redirected her towards his car. " Things will be okay Lillian I promise...I know things seem a little difficult right now, but leaving him was the best thing you could do...he was no good for you, and you don't deserve to be treated like that..." he said offering her a kind smile unlocking the car he pulled open the passenger door allowing her to get in before walking round and putting her bag in the boot before climbing in the drivers side starting the engine he headed of. " Need to stop anywhere on the way? You didn't eat right? Want to get some food?.." @Vava Valentine

Lillian stayed behind Elijah, nervous that perhaps his friends wouldn't like her at all. She wasn't familiar with his friends, so she didn't want to but in on his conversations. But, she smiled as he nudged her. She nodded her head politely to them. His friends were nice at least, and they didn't give him any crap with him leaving for them. Turning and following him out, she squeezed his hand too. "They were nice. I...I'd like to meet them one day. Under better circumstances." She said, blushing a bit. His words really touched her. "Thank you, Elijah. I don't...I don't know what I would have done without you." She said softly, smiling. "Thank you for helping me." She got into his car. "If you want to get some food, that'd be great. I haven't had a chance to eat anything." She rubbed her stomach, which growled in response. She chuckled nervously, her cheeks red. "Sorry..." At the mention of his friends he grinned with a chuckle. " Ah there nice people, stupid people...but nice. Your like them, come out with me next time I go out with them, your have fun I'm sure.. " he teased it was a bit cooler outside so he put some of the heating on to make sure she wasn't cold. At her response for food he couldn't stop himself from chuckling his hand coming over to pat her leg lightly before giving it a soft squeeze. " Well we will get you some food, I can't have you going hungry what kind of person would I be to leave you hungry hmm?...what do you fancy? Should we go to a drive through and eat at mine?.." he said turning the radio down so they could talk. @Vava Valentine

"A drive thru would be fantastic. Something simple and easy." She said, giving him a smile. She reached over and lightly took his hand in hers. "Thank you, Eli. Seriously. Without you I... I don't know what I would have done." She said quietly. She was forever grateful for her coworker- but then again, what were they now? They couldn't just be friends, right? But, she didn't want to ask and have him assume she was expecting anything. She sighed softly, looking out the window. A knot of anxiety was already forming in her stomach. " That's exactly what I was thinking, then we can go back to mine and relax right? You've had a emotional day right? " he said driving down a main stretch of road now, he felt her hand come over to take his , his eyes peeling of the road for the briefest of moments to look down to it, he smiled warmly clutching her hand back. " Stop Lillian, I'll always be here for you, you most know that " he whispered bringing her hand up to his mouth he kissed it softly before he saw a drive through burger joint. " Burgers okay?.." he asked her hoping so as he peeled in glancing at the menu briefly before the lady asked what he wanted. "Can I get an Oreo milkshake, a quarter pounder burger with mushrooms and mayo, with seasoned fries, and a four piece nugget?" She asked. He grinned over to Lillian as she thanked him shaking his head again. " You really don't need to keep thanking me Lillian I'm more then happy to help you anyway I can you know that..." he grinned. Of course when they pulled up at the drive way and he felt her leaning over to give her order he could smell the scent scent of her perfume much deeper now, he had to bite his lips a little to stop himself from groaning at the smell, god she smelt wonderful and he could only just imagine how she felt.. It didn't take long for the food to be prepared slipping bags over to her so she could hold them whilst he drove placing the drinks in the cup holder he did however put a straw in his and take a sip of his straight away before pulling out of the drive way and heading back down the road to where he lived. Lillian huffed quietly as he told her 'no.' He was right in the fact that she needed to keep her money, but still! He paid for their meal and she grabbed the bags, placing them on her lap. If you want to have more, please do!" She gestured towards her shake. She wasn't opposed to sharing her food or drinks, so if he wanted more she was happy to provide. She wished she could just be hanging out with Eli without the drama filled subcontext, but, unfortunately, that wasn't really an option now. She uncorked the bottle and poured the wine into the two glasses. Wine was one of her favorite things to drink, and having it available especially after today, she needed it. She sipped the wine and once the plates were set, she pressed play. The movie she picked was one of the Avenger films. Something that they both had seen, but loved. It was good to not have to pay attention to something. They could just relax now... Lillian began to eat. She didn't realize how hungry she was until her food was completely gone, all within ten minutes. Had she not eaten today? No, probably not. As she finished her food, she leaned back on the couch, a delighted sigh leaving her lips. "So good~" She hummed. She leaned over onto Elijah, nuzzling against him. "Thank you, Eli..."
