When Annabelle asked him to chime in that she wasn't ruining the business, he threw his hands up and joked, "I ain't getting involved," he would move to the swing of the porch, finding a seat for a moment, getting comfortable as the two argued numbers some more, but before long, Marie had everyone hush as we would see the fancier farm truck pulling up, being driven by one of the other main hands on the farm and in the passenger seat was Randall. Anthony couldn't see his expression from her, but he looked okay from what he could see. He stood and walked over to the bottom of the steps with Annabelle and Marie...
"Oh my Randall," Marie shouted as the truck would come to step and the door open with a creak, before the hands could get to him to help him, "Randall, my love..."
"I am fine, quit fussing," Randall would scowl as he would step out of the truck and onto the farm, "Doc said it would be fine in a couple of weeks, now just let it be..."
Anthony would look him over, but other than a sling around his arm, or what use to be his arm, he would walk up to the steps, business mode already engaged, "Steve let me know that the heifers had their calves early, did you make sure they were moved to the barn until they are good enough to walk with the herd?"
Anthony would answer immediately, "Yes, sir," he would say almost military like, "Cindy has been bottle feeding since they were born, hoping to get them back with their moms soon."
"Annabelle, your mother told me about some changes," he said, switching focus almost immediately, "They saving money?"
