I can't believe they got a mechanic to come look at the tractor all the way out here! That must have cost a fortune! But it doesn't even matter, I can't allow them to take even a single tree. While they stand around talking about what went wrong with the equipment, I circle around them and manage to get behind the truck. I hop up, peeking over to make sure they are still busy- then I find the answer! The fools left the keys in it!
Being careful so as not to jingle the Keychain, I pull the keys out and hop down, then dart toward the forest as fast as I can. The fools don't even see me! I quickly find a safe place to hide and watch them. They eventually finish their conversation, and one guy hops up in the machine to start working. After a moment, he calls down to the other two. Soon all of them are searching the ground and their pockets, getting more and more irritated.
Laughing to myself, I walk deeper into the woods. There is a river not far from here. As soon as I find a suitably deep part, I throw the keys in. Good riddance. The forest is safe for another day.
I head back to town, making sure I walk past their construction zone so I can see them. Two guys are on the phone, and the third stands there scratching his head, looking confused. I almost feel bad, but this is what they get for trying to develop here. They're idiots. They don't know what they are trying to destroy.
