I toss and turn while I lay in what was a cot from a barn, what felt like a nightmare had washed over me causing me to sweat and awake from what was a sleep that lasted days
An elven woman had found my body floating down stream in to the small village that she lived I don’t remember being pulled from the water or dragged to the house in which she lived. While laying in the cot for those few days she had cared for me treating my wounds and feeding me how ever she could.
The first thing I saw when I opened my eyes was the sun shining through a small decrepit window on the other wall facing me, I groan a little before feeling my side as I had been cut there by what seemed like a sword I have little recollection of what happened
The room looked clean if not poor casing me to slowly sit up when I see my sword and parts of my armour sitting against the wall beside the bed leading me to believe that whoever had helped me did it out of being a good person and not for money or loyalty
“Hello, is anyone there “ I call out in a deep commanding voice hoping that someone is around so that I could ask them what had happened to me as I didn’t remember much apart from falling from a bridge
