Five... Five? Five of the greatest deities have fallen to Earth. What could be done? Certainly the other seven will band together to save them… will they? Will they help restore their memories and their positions? Or will they succumb to greed and old grudges? Hiii so this isnt something i normally do. This will focus on the twelve deities mentioned, as well as world building and how their abilities affect the earth more than most people would have guessed. It will have a mythological/fantasy type feel (which is what I am hoping for aha) Anyway, if youre interested pls react!

When you think of apocalypse most people tend to think of zombies and disease. But no one was prepared for an apocalypse that didn’t involve brain eaters and a nasty break out of illness. What really happened? Well it was unexpected. It just seemed to be a normal day to the human eye. Everyone running to their jobs and kids running off to school. It was chaotic and busy, but this was an everyday thing. Everyone repeating their days over and over. It seemed like change was never even thought of. It started off as little things for different people. Electric stoves catching on fire, cell phones going black, ceiling fans and lights turn off. This is what people were experiencing in their homes. Outside of four walls there was more chaos than usual. Electric cars suddenly crashing into other cars on the road. If it was night time the city would be black. But even worse, plans started dropping from the sky. Fires broke out from the combustion of electronics and crashes of different vehicles and plans. Screams could be heard from loved one passing on. Was this simply the new chaos? Riots broke out. Now that security systems, cell phones, and many other things stopped working, people needed entertainment and rules no longer applied. Fights filled the open spaces and blood was running down the sewer drains. Gun shots echoed down alleyways. Human population decreased at a rapid pace. So, what really happened? EMP’s have been known for centuries. People created ways to prevent them from harming the earth, but they couldn’t have prepared anything for something of this size. Electricity was no longer. Of course the world would go mad over this. There was one man who thought this was the worlds way of cleansing itself. He wanted the human race to die off. So he thought he’d help the process. A group was created, people made machines with no electricity. Machines to hunt human life and put anything the move and breaths to an end. ———

The group of people themselves planned on rebuilding the world. Starting it over after killing off the lesser of people. They are the enemy. So! This is my apocalypse idea for a group role play. My thought is to have everyone make a different character with different skills weather is hunting, medical aid, snipping, gathers, etc. slowly each people will meet my character and eventually there will be a survival group. Each person can be from a different city or state. There’s a lot of details I’d need to work out but I think the concept is there. There’s a lot of different things that can happen in this story. I was thinking of even adding mutations as another enemy or even ally for some

They all play a part of a bigger picture, a small piece in the puzzle that is life. What they do with that power is up to them. It’s been four months since the eclipse, and more and more people are making themselves known with their powers. A local law enforcement officer in New York City was assigned to a case of a serial killer. A man who targeted seemingly random people across the country of the United States, cutting open their head and leaving them to die. The pattern? The victims all have powers. While the serial killer, a watchmaker from Queens named Sylar, goes on his rampage, another threat is hiding in the shadow. A company who ‘bags and tags’ those with powers, cataloging their powers and possibly locking up those who they deem too ‘dangerous’ for normal life. Everyone who gained these powers were born with them, but the solar eclipse triggered it. Now, they have to face not only the hardships of life while hiding their powers, but also fight for their life as they get hunted down by Sylar and the company. {Okay, complicated. Yes. Posting this for a grp but im also okay with doing a 1:1 if this doesn’t gain enough traction. Based off heroes, but you don’t need to have watched it to rp! I just really want a good superpower plot. Action mostly, but some romance and slice of life is allowed as well. Angst. All the angst. I will personally be playing two characters: Gabriel Sylar. {Intuitive Aptitude} And an OC I’m making. Canon characters aren’t required, but allowed!!}

Hello! I’ve been itching to do a Star Wars group roleplay since joining the server, and so I figured I’d put this out here to see if anybody would be at all interested. I’m a huge nerd when it comes to the universe, having read most of the old EU novels as well as many of the current canon ones. All that is to say I have a fairly good grasp on every major era in the universe, but I’m not going to make you pass some lore test or anything. The idea I have is about a small group of smugglers/bounty hunters who find themselves thrust together to complete a job, and then realize that they work well enough together to form a more permeant crew, taking on various jobs together while skeletons in each of their personal closets maybe pop up from time to time. These characters could have a lot of flexibility, ranging from people who’ve only known this sort of life, to defected Imperial officers trying to start over, to Jedi who are in hiding. While I’m open to exploring any era depending on the group’s preferences, I think the rise of the Empire (between episodes 3 and 4) is always such a fun, mostly uncharted time. If anybody is interested, simply react so we can get a channel started and we can discuss from there!

Can I get a grpg called “DND 5e: the case of the missing children” plz? The basis is that there is a city ruled by a governor that is losing orphans. It is the characters job to find out why they are disappearing, or who is stealing the children. Instead of a four month wait between his resurrection and his arrival, there will be a one year wait. A Slice of Life and Action based roleplay where we focus on training, building, and maintaining relationships and friendships in a time of worry. How do I or If I can limit the rp channel to be replied by one person at a time so there's a constant flow of one after the other posts? Is there a way to limit the rp to a specific group at a time or randomise a bunch of people in the channel at a time? any rp bots that can help do all this? T_T (edited)

heyo! in the past when weve had group RPs, we just have a posting order and tell people who's up next. i dont know of any bots that automate this although its a really interesting idea! however...the other thing we notice with group RPs is lets say you start with 4 people, ABCD. Now, AB go off somewhere and CD go somewhere else. Now there should be two posting orders - A and B should go back and forth with each other, and separately C and D should go back and forth. so it can get confusing. another thing that has turned out popular in some of our group RPs is a channel that is made for threads - see #tn-rp-main-street-❖ for an example of this. this lets you have a main roleplay chat, but then you can have side threads where players can do smaller RPs and then rejoin the main thread. in theory you could definitely have a role that gets passed around, where only that role is allowed to post in the thread. i dunno of a bot that does this, you'd have to assign the role manually. you could certainly have a role where only that role is allowed to post in the group RP. one final note - we havent really had a lot of luck doing group roleplays where theres supposed to be a detailed storyline, planned character development, etc. our most successful group roleplays are super casual, where people can just walk in at any time and just start typing. so some food for thought

one last thing - i put a lot of effort into building out the RPHQ bot to support roleplay so if you'd like to take advantage of it you're welcome to try and bring your group RP over here!

Hello there! I'd like to propose a Fallout RP using an easy to follow homebrew system I've developed. The story will contain certain themes of course, because it's Fallout, but we can discuss any and all preferences beforehand to keep everybody comfortable. So. this is a prompt for a DND style rp, undecided if voice or text based yet. if voice based, it will be SFW, if text, NSFW is allowed but not focused on. This will be using an entirely homebrewed system, set in a world of Victorian politics with 1920's esque technology (otherwise known as dieselpunk) Magic is available but rare, consult me about it. All fantasy races are in the world as this is an advanced version of high fantasy. available races to play are Human, Elf, Dwarf, Teifling, halfling, and all versions of Half-something consult me for any other races. The plot will follow the party through one of two settings, either a large Industrial city and the politics therein of a union forming against the opressive government. OR a smaller village struggling against the power of Industry and such, getting caught between two worlds. I am looking for probably 3 characters at most, I will fill one slot if needed. So. this is a prompt for a DND style rp, undecided if voice or text based yet. if voice based, it will be SFW, if text, NSFW is allowed but not focused on. This will be using an entirely homebrewed system, set in a world of Victorian politics with 1920's esque technology (otherwise known as dieselpunk) Magic is available but rare, consult me about it. Hey Everyone. I'm opening a Naruto Roleplay with lots of available roles. We're a character development, story driven community which we are hoping to grow. We're also looking for experienced moderators as well, especially if the community starts growing. As hope dwindled, courage rose. Many lives were lost in the Fourth Shinobi War, but with it a new bud bloomed. Having taken down Madara with the sheer force of their remaining shinobi, those who have returned from war remained changed. A new age was upon them; one of uncertainty and doubt. After an eleven year rework of the entire shinobi world, each village re-established themselves to their former glory, and with it a new age of peace was upon them. But peace could never be left alone for too long.  The Kaminoki organization was not well known to the Shinobi world; but protests among the villages grew steadily enough to finally be recognized by the Kage as a growing problem. Basically, the idea here is that The players are a newly formed adventuring party that is set on the task to 'Venture to the Temple of the Old Gods, wherein an artifact of the goddess Kylythia is held, return this artifact to Queen Polana of Grungan.' Along the way, there will be many things to stop you, sights to see, people to meet. Your actions on the journey and in the temple WILL have consequences, and this adventure, while light and fun, is also incredibly dangerous, and has the chance to turn dark. What you need to do: 1: Express interest and come with a generalized character idea 2: Be willing to be at least somewhat active (1 post per day minimum, unless you advise of an abscence) 3: be open to NSFW elements which WILL occur, They will not be forced, except in a single instance. 4: Be willing to have fun!

Zombi No Mokujiroku It's a pretty normal day at Kaisei Junior & Senior High School (this is a real school, originally it is a girl only school but we're changing that) nothing out of the norm. It's the last day before spring break as well, and everyone is of course excited. People are running around talking about the plans or making plans together for their perfect break, little do they know things won't be as perfect as they expect. This is a roleplay where, on one seemingly normal day, sometime during the week of spring break a virus breaks out. This virus seems to corrupt the minds and make its host extremely violent. At first it started with one then the numbers started to gradually increase, they call it rage. That is because once transformed one feels all the negative and hostile emotions such as hate, and well rage. No one knows the virus' origin or how it came to be, but maybe you'll find out? or maybe not. Maybe you'll die, or just accept what's happening and do what is necessary to survive. I know it’s probably been tried a thousand times on here, and again would be hard to run but I would be super down to run and supervise something like this. For example we could use different threads as rooms, with evidence in each etc. I could pick the murderer at random and inform them privately etc. We pick a setting as a group and if we want to incorporate nsfw into it somehow we could try. Putting out a feeler to gauge interest in a post HBP Harry Potter AU game set a few years after Voldemort is killed. The idea is that the Battle of Hogwarts still happened, Voldemort still was killed, but we want to be able to say all of the unnecessary character deaths from book 7 didn’t have to happen! We also welcome original characters, but prefer there is some tie to canon (mention of a name in the books, distant relation, etc). The game is based on the premise of a mental institution dressed up as a “retreat” for patients to come and deal with problems caused by the war. Patients at the retreat will either willingly admit themselves (good guys), be committed, or be incentivized to get time knocked off their sentence if they spend a term at the institution (hello, Death Eaters!). They will be required to attend weekly therapy sessions with the on-premise counselors while being kept an eye on under the careful eye (and hidden cameras!) of the director of the facility and the Aurors she has employed to keep things in order. Patients will be restricted from using magic in the form of casting spells while at the retreat, but creatures such as Werewolves will still undergo the magical changes that their condition demands they do (and yes, magical creatures are welcome!). Patients will also find that their emotions are heightened while on retreat grounds, feeling things much more intensely than they would normally. We’re going to host the game in a journal forum setting on InsaneJournal. The patients will be given journals that have been charmed so that they can communicate with other patients and staff through them (wizarding social media!). In game days will span over the course of a few real life days with official in game day changes. Here's the scene: Welcome to Starford, Virginia, a small town nestled in deep in the woods. Surrounded by large oak trees and a lake to the North, Starford is a perfect town to grow up in. Some people think so anyway, some of the teens can't wait to get out and see the rest of the world, especially those who have never left Virginia. Considering it's such a small community, everyone knows everybody, which has its pros and cons. Secrets don't last long in Starford, not when Missy's hair salon is in the business of telling everyone's stories to the entire town when they need a haircut. Then, of course, there's the high school where even more gossip and drama ensues thanks to the teenage hormones flowing through the place. Starford has just recently gotten their own mall as well, and it's not a real Starford summer without at least one trip out to the lake and one of the cabins! Starford gladly welcomes any newcomers, just know they'll be watching you like a hawk until they get a good feel for you. It's a small town but it's their town and they like the way it is, change isn't a requirement for the residents of Starford, they'd be happy to keep things as they are forever. However, as new people come and go they realize that's not possible and have to deal with that realization. It's character driven and while ooc communications will take place on Discord, the actual group will happen on a site called rpnation. Instead, it would be episodic and focus on any character we wish for any given scene. Due to certain events (either canon or made up), the hero students are required to continue their hero education past graduation. Nezu calls it the UAC - UA College. They are in their last year of UAC for age preference reasons (20+). In this, the students work as part time heroes and have to take supplementary classes to fill in their missed education during the unspecified events stated above. They are taught by the same staff but, since they are adults, won't have the same rules. For example, no curfew, mixed gender dorm sharing is allowed, alcohol is okay (Legal age in Japan is 20, so that's what I'm basing it on). I'm hoping to do scenes ranging from slice of life, to fluff, to ERP, to action. Really, if we have an interesting idea for characters in this universe, we go for it. I can range from serious to crack rp style, depending on my rp partner. I am willing to do both depending on scene as well. I'm hoping for a literate partner(s) who will write one paragraph - novella replies a majority of the time. I understand that there are times in which one sentence just fits, but I don't want that to be the norm. For this prompt, you would need to be comfortable playing a multitude of characters (though we can keep it 1:1 for scenes if you prefer). I'm also willing to do this as a group rp, though I've never done one of those before! At least 1 reply a day, or let me know if something comes up and you need a break. No ghosting. So, if you've been lurking in OOC chat, you'll have seen me geeking out about Aphrodite's history as a war goddess. There is a lot of history going on here. But yes, Aphrodite was worshipped as a war goddess. Greek gods have different capicities they could be worshipped in. Unpacking the history Aphrodite was a goddess brought to Greece by Babylonian immigrants whose Goddess of Love was also their goddess of war. She landed near Sparta who were fine with worshipping her as both the Goddess of Love and War. Other Greek cities didn't like that and so didn't worship her in that aspect. How this applies to the story? I'm looking to have two main characters. The new girl has has become Aphrodite's champion, and now has to fight some new threat to the world. And Aphrodite herself. Who is masquarading as a teacher at her school. I'm looking to explore this as an SFW story. But more, I'm looking to dig into how Aphrodite being misunderstood would effect this goddess who has come back to save the world with her new Champion. How a new young student would fit in. Exploring this with the idea of a Scooby gang and going from there! It could also work as a 1 on 1 story. If we want we can also use the rules for the Buffy RPG. Anyone who has watched Black Lagoon knows the basic story of the Lagoon crew and such. Balalaika, the russian leader of Hotel Moscow and one of the three leaders of Roanapur has offered up a favor to get rid of a rising mafia that would end up proving trouble for the three triads if left alone. Another instruction was to meet someone(you) to act as the crew's partner at the Yellowflag bar and as back-up in case things get too nasty which they most likely will. Hello Darlings! I'm Gaia, and I am looking for Roleplay partners! Either Regular Rp, or Erp. All characters must be at LEAST 18. We will be using our own oc's and the plot will be SOL (Slice Of Life). We can decide on the exact details of the plot once we get in contact with one another. I prefer to rp with females, but as i am pan, I will rp with anyone if need be. Only rules: 1: don't be a douche, if someone is uncomfortable, don't continue or force them. 2: do not ghost please, your health is important, be relatively active, unless you need to take a break, then let us know and then that's fine. 3:please be respectful of people's triggers, but at the same time, if you get triggered by something, please do not get instantly mad if someone accidentally triggers you. You huddled yourself up in your living room; cocooning yourself in blankets. Fear had crept in now, fear that you would never be rescued. Fear that you would freeze to death in this dark place. Suddenly you heard a loud banging on your front door. Someone or something was trying to get your attention. Hope replaced the freezing dread in your veins, standing up you rushed to the door. Opening the door you were immediately hounded by the wind. Ice and snow flew through your entryway. Covering your face, you had to squint to see the figure standing on your porch. This isn't just any tale. It's an Autumn tale. It's a Halloween tale. It's a tale where, amongst the fallen leaves floating in a chilling wind, you see a strange figure deep in the woods, but just for a moment, before it disappears again, leaving no proof of it ever being real. When autumn starts, the veil between the magical and the human worlds becomes thinner and thinner as the landscapes turn orange and brown. It is a whimsical time, where even animals sense the strangeness in the air. The forest becomes a gateway to another dimension. Behaviors turn strange when the sun sets and paints everything red. Up the hill, there is an old manor that no one dares to go near to. Eerie noises can be heard from it at night. And sometimes, you can catch a glimpse of smoke coming out the chimney, despite the fact that it has been abandoned decades ago and that all windows and doors are condemned. It is the time where a naked human is found near the lake, long hair wet, scars all over their skin, and some kind of mucus covering their body. They don't remember their name, or why they are here, and they become startled and fascinated at the sight of fire, and often have snacks on little rodents. It is the time where local pets are found dead, drained of their blood through two holes in their neck. Where the local church starts holding night sermons, calling upon the holyness of the sacrificed, drinking wine and eating bread as symbol for feasting on the flesh of their saviour. A time where high schoolers are scared to hang around the cemetery like they used to, because they can sense something is lurking there.
