It was that time of year once again, although it was not like the time of old where children or unruly teens went out to either obtain candy from the neighbourhood or cause trouble. No, now, it is a literal last stand against all sorts of nightmarish evil that seeps itself into our world.
Come 1pm, an emergency alert broadcast was broadcasted nationwide which goes as follows: "Attention, you have six hours left to prepare for the oncoming threat, make sure you have a sufficient amount of food, medical supplies, armaments and ammunition as taking on the horde will be an unrelenting task.
It is advised that you barricade all entrances to your home, if you have relatives or anyone in your home that is young, elderly or disabled. Escort them to your basement, attic, shelter or public building for their safety. If you have pets, you must keep them inside until the all clear is given.
During the time of the horde's assault, if anyone approaches your door, do not answer, it may be an attempt to lower your guard and ultimately lead to your demise.
Anyone not inside by evening, you must seek shelter in any public building as police, military, other emergency services and military will be protecting anyone within these areas.
It should be noted by all that food, medical supplies, weapons and ammunition is heavily discounted at this time and all shops will be selling these means to all customers who are capable enough to effectively use them.
Make sure you have a portable radio with working batteries and remain on this channel for further updates. As the time drawers near, the government wishes you good luck and Godspeed during the evening ahead."
