Sundari Karnaki was practicing kaleri, the fighting style that had weapons and swords, sticks and even pieces of wood. She was a princess who had clearly been able to protect herself. There had been news that a Lady Knight from another kingdom was coming over. Sundari did not care and neither did she seem to understand why a knight from another kingdom would be needed.
Sundari wanted to see if this knight was capable in being in her royal guard. Well, in all honesty, she was sure she would win some matches with the reputed tall Nightingale of Swords and Death. Even if the name was impressive, well, she would like to scrutinise skills. There was nothing more beautiful to her, when she studied the meaning of words, and even see the names of other people. Well, to see their names have meanings and sounded like them.
She was practicing with a whip like sword and a normal Talwar ( a type of scimitar blade) in one of her private gardens. One of her ladies in waiting had been telling her they had spotted the female knight around the palace but she made no advances too great someone who made her think others found her incompetent.
