God Stones make the world go round, if you don’t have one you’re not “save the day” powerful and if your not “save the day” powerful you’re easy to forget. While most people and magical humanoids have the ability to to use magic in some form, a God Stone is a powerful focus for that energy and typically brings a little special something to the table that not even the most powerful mages on their own can do. The first and only God Stones known to exist came to be when the last god perished on the stone shores of a mystical mountain lake, the stone that made up the beach have their own magical properties that absorbed the god’s energies when he fell. The stones were collected by the one who did the felling and have been dispersed and lost to time until one popped back up and into the wrong hands. It took a while for the people to notice, believing the stones to be myth after such a long time, but when they did all hell broke lose.
And the quest to find the rest of the stones to defeat the newly crowned king began.
