A cool gust of air drifted through the open windowsill Nym was sitting in. The full moon, and all of its twinkling stars lit up the worn down neighborhood she'd found herself in. The apartment complex was several stories high, and there the little imp sat, heart-shaped tail flickering in the breeze whilst she contemplated to herself with a somber expression buried beneath her ominous mauveine eyes.
Her black hair whipped in the breeze, and she bounced a ball against the corner of the window's frame, back into her hand.
"Earth is so boring.." She thought to herself.
"Kinda miss the scorching hell.. I bet Sniffles is racking up lines of coke without me. Shithead.."
A smile crossed her lips, as the ball missed the frame, and fell down to the streets below, disappearing into the grass.
With a sigh, she pulled herself back into the poorly lit apartment room. It was cold, and dark. No electricity, no running water. The tarnished wooden floor had all manner of scrapes, splinters, broken glass, and discarded pizza and takeout boxes. Some from Nym, some from its previous owners. A broken coffee table sat flipped at one corner of the room, and a torn sofa sat in its center, the least damaged furnishing within the entire room.
Glass shards crunched beneath her feet as she made her way towards the couch, tail swaying to and fro.
