The fierce battle at the throne room continues as the loyal guards fall to the ground. The Emperor himself draws the blade and steps forward to challenge the enemies that are approaching him. He yells "You have no idea what you are doing! Drawing your swords against the Emperor himself!" However the words are futile as the rebels strike and after a few shorts swings one of them are lucky and strike the emperor in the chest. The Emperor's wife runs towards him and before long she gets beheaded. The prince Aureus steps forward as the last living soul of the royal family and strikes from the cover of the pillars. The rebels step back to prepare themselves. As the prince rushes forward he executes his ability of sonic strike and injures all man standing. Right after he drops his training sword and rushes to his father. What he sees is a pool of blood from the body of her mother and her head being held in his father's arms "My son, please take this sword, it's the last piece of our family's heirloom that will help you achieve your purpose." Aureus with tears in his eyes holds the fathers sword and looks at his father as he draws his last breath.... A loud bang is heard as more rebel troops enter the throne room, and in the middle of all them none other than the brother of Emperor steps forward

"Well well well, look who we have here, the pathetic excuse of living being. Your blood is tarnished by that fool and the dirty wrench! I will personally clean my family's bloodline from beings such as you!" The Emperor's brother steps forward drawing out his sword, to which in response Aureus takes up his father's sword and holds the shield behind him. A powerful purple fog surrounds the area as the rebels stand there looking at the prince. In the noises of confusion the brother of the emperor says "What is this fog?? My father never told me anything of this! No matter, I will finish this now!" The Brother strikes the prince but as he is about to strike, Aureus vanishes.

Aureus had closed his eyes to embrace the impact, but instead he felt nothing but the moon light in the middle of a forest. "What,where am I?" The calm and peaceful reflection of the moonlight on the leaves, illuminates the area brightly. The occasional wind breeze echoes through the trees before the lone knight. He looks around the forest, not recognising anything. He is mostly impressed by the colour of the leaves on the trees "Green? I thought that it was just an old legend."

Having been used to blue forests and the plans emitting their plain blue shine, the knight had to resort to his own vision to make out objects in the dark. A powerful breeze hits him from the back as the knight turns around to see who was making that noise, but it was just a deer with her child approaching a nearby puddle to take a drink. Aureus had seen those animals in old drawings, an animal extinct due to predators who had mastered the homeland. He never thought that he would see one himself. "So there are a few still alive, I knew it!" Aurerus jumped in an excitement, as well as caution, which made a few noises around, which scared away the animals into the forest. Aureus then decided that no imminent danger is nearby, so he sheathed his sword. Walking forward he looks at the night sky, but there are no stars to be seen, this slightly disturbs the knight, however he decided to proceed forward through the forest. The nature seems to be at ease, as the knight walks around, but then a sudden realisation strikes him... "Tsk! I must return to the Empire right now!" Aureus picks up his pace at this instant and rushes through the forest, getting deeper and deeper into it. In his desperation he cuts down any grass or tree down his path to speed up the journey, but it was all futile, he got lost even deeper into the territory unknown to him. After running for a bout twenty minutes, Aureus finally starts loosing his stamina and lays down besides the tree. "Could use a drink right now, not going to lie..." Never the less, Aureus stands up and continues his path deeper into the forest and right as he turns around a wild bear approaches him with an aggressive stance, trying to defend his territory...

Aureus unsheathes his sword to face the looming beast. With his shield ready he holds his ground. "Wile beast! Your soul shall be cleansed from the evil spirit that diluted your path!" Being an experienced knight by now Aureus thought that all beasts who are striking humans, are being controlled by the dark force that tries to expand the darkness. However, what surprised him most was the semi calm attitude the bear had. Nevertheless Aureus commenced the first strike and pierced the heart of the bear. However he was quickly shocked by the minimal amount of the spirit energy the bear had. "You were like... a regular beast."

However Aureus wasn't careful enough, while fighting the beast. The bear had been fast and strong enough to bite right into the shoulder of Aureus, damaging the breastplate just enough that blood started dripping down from the shoulder, through the armour on the ground. The gigantic beast had l and with final groan a small baby bear came out from the hiding, trying to save his mother. Aureus had no time to reminiscence over what he had done, so he proceeded to go further inside the forest, holding onto his sword as only means to not loose balance. The blood loss is keeping a toll on him as the each step becomes more and more difficult to make. Having no other choice Aureus lays down and inspects the damaged area, which is covered in blood. To counter the pain, Aureus takes his family's pack of cigars from his pouch and lights it up. The path ahead of Aurerus is long and new, as he ended up in a parallel world of light, which has no eternal night. His biggest challenge shall await him in the morning, when he will see sunlight for the first time ever
