Greetings everyone. The foundation has forwarded me your phone numbers and I'm glad to finally get some help over here at checkpoint Mike. I have taken the liberty to gather everyone in this group together until we meet each other in person. The connection here in Russia is subpar, so I won't be always able to respond quickly, but if you have any questions regarding your stay don't hesitate to ask them in here. I will be taking a look at your profiles in the meantime. Until then, stay put. Regards, Pr. Dr. Kai Cobblepot

Pleasant evening everyone. I have had the time to skim through some of your files and applications, doing so I have noted down some questions for everyone to answer. I'm not entirely satisfied with everyone's application and I am allowed to decline any person to this work whom I don't see fit. Thag being said, word your answers carefully. 1. Dr. Redscale Alexander You have a pretty impressive history, dr. Redscale. However, the application clearly states to note down height in inches and meters, as well as weight in pounds and kilograms. Yet, you have only used the american system for both categories. If you struggle with such simple reading comprehension, how am I supposed to expect you to work in such a complex environment as this job? Also, do elaborate to me how you expertise as a wild guard matters in the Russian Tundra, free of any lakes, sees and pools. 2. Reynolds Gwen The category "What do you struggle with" was meant for information that would be important for the tasks at hand. You aren't joining a workout program, thus the information you have given is irrelevant (If you wanted to highlight your inability to perform physical activity, please word it that way). I'd ask you to answer this question again here with this in mind. 3. Dr. Telarion Michael Ametsus I don't have time nor the energy who people who join this expedition "just cause". Take this more seriously, or you'll be on a flight home faster than you could imagine. It would take too much time to note everything that bugs me about your application, so I won't. Instead, I'll ask you two questions. You also struggle with mere reading comprehension just like Dr. Redscale, so I'll ask you too: How do you mean to work in such a complex environment if you can't even read properly? And Give me one good reason that I should expect anything but laziness from you given your horrendous application.
4. Thomas Maxwell What a refreshing sight to see someone follow protocols. Though, Mister Maxwell, detail orientation isn't a hard skill, though I appreciate someone with this ability. Furthermore, I want to remind everyone, that this isn't a speed dating gig. Struggles, strengths and everything that is asked to you in the application form is supposed to be answered in correlation to this work (outside of the one question that allows personal reasons). Social skills are important, but awkwardness isn't something that matters one bit. What matters about your social skills is: Can you talk, are you professional? Congratulations, you reached the bare minimum! Answer the question properly, Mister Maxwell. 5. Al Shams Chiran I have little to criticize about your application, Mister Al Shams. I would just love to hear a reason for your interest in this expedition that isn't boiled down to "just cause". 6. Vieira Abillio Joseph If you find research to be boring, this is the wrong place for you Mister Vieira. What we do boils down to research. That being said, you hit the standard for what I expect to be a decent application. Hurray. People, I want you all to understand that we have standards around here. Standarts which I work to be met. Either you take this work more serious, or there will be no work for you. I'll go to sleep with a headache now. Regards, Pr. Dr. Kai Cobblepot

Нука Нука..... I can't wait for that plane who will take me back home. And if the system so desperately requires 100% compliance, then how do you expect it to work longterm.

We terribly apologise on behalf of Doctor Telarion. We had nobody else to send who would be skilled and adaptable, in this expedition, and he was extremely difficult to convince to join the process. Please understand that that is who he is. We don't want to ruin the relationship and would kindly ask that you just ignore his rude behaviour. When he's given a task, he will fulfil it. He's one who has never given up whenever asked a difficult task. So please do not reject him, as he's the only one fit for the job, and as the time goes, and your crew can convince him to be more friendly and social, then I assure you that you have a strong ally. Sincerely, Dr. Ruthland. Senior of the Soviet Research faculty.

I would like to apologize for my carelessness to read into the details, I was in a hurry when this application was submitted. your missing information will be provided below height: 1.83m Weight: 81.6Kg and I do not understand by your meaning of "wild guard". I am only a doctor that goes hiking in my free time. i once hiked the Appalachian trail. However this was during the summer, and my experience in the Russian Tundra is quite minimal. Now i would like to address the rest of the Expedition team, I will be needing a full copy of your medical records prior to our departure to the region. thank you for understanding.

My goals are to explore the mysteries of human communication especially in such remote conditions. And additionally, to learn about my peers spiritual beliefs. I believe my survival skills will be of great assistance to the party :]

I struggle to complete a task that would require core physical strength. As far as tech is concerned, I may lag behind a little in the part where computer hardware comes into play but I can put in the efforts required. Hope that clarifies it better.

I do not find research entirely boring. I find the aspect of sitting in a room, doing research is what bores me. In my application I should’ve been specific, and with that I apologize. I’m more of hands on man, craving to get out there and not be confide to a research facility or office writing reports, if that makes sense?

Evening, Thank you all for your replies. I'm satisfied with all of your responses, besides the one of Dr. Telarion. I don't care about his rude behavior, nor about his lack of social skills. I do care about the work ethic and respect for your workplace. As much as I'm sure you are all greatly skilled in your job, I am still the head scientists on site and everyone is going to follow my orders. Mister Telarion will be leaving this work at the first sign of laziness, disrespect or slacking. No excpetionts. I don't want to read one more message from Dr. Ruthland as Telarion is a grown man capable of the english language. State your compliance and we will work from there. That being said, if any of you have remaining questions about your work, the base or anything else about this job, now is the time to ask them. I'll be responding as soon as I can. Regards, Pr. Dr. Kai Cobblepot

As much as Dr. Snow is just as lousy of an application writer as the rest of you, she is a great researcher. So if any questions arise, don't hesitate to ask her.
