Tyson was so beyond greatful for his job, after his accident he was struggling for so long to find work, that was willing to acomidate him and his needs. So it was refreshing when his current Job, took the time to ask him what be needs to be sussesfull in the company. After 2 months Tyson relized he loved his job, he loved working in the office, helping people with their construction and designing needs. He was the head guy who would go to other businesses to scout out the area, that needed the construction done. Once he gets measurements and the 3d models done, he would then send the construction team to the business to then put the plans into action. After 2 months of working, he got a promotion and raise to be the head manager of that department, and he was thankful for it. To celebrate the office, everyone was out to dinner, celebrating the hard work they had done the last year. Tyson sat next to his boss, laughing and making jokes with his coworkers while they all drank, and enjoyed their meal, they were only missing one person, a new coworker who he has yet to meet. He took a sip of his beer, looking up curiously as a new face walked into the room, coming to join them for dinner. Their boss laughed, greeting them, but Tysons face lit up, he knew them, or at least he thought he did, there was one way to find out. "Hey, long time no see." He suddenly said with a kind laugh. "When was the last time I saw you? Highschool?" @Ainz Ooal Gown

Brushing her hair behind her left ear she glances over the man who called out to her and searched her memories during high school. The pause might have seemed a bit rude but, after a couple moments she remembered a friend she used to know that she shared history class with. This man did give off similar energy but, he looked way different. Back then he had looked like your average school nerd and was super smart but, he was a nice guy. This was all of course assuming that this was the same guy. Well might as well take a stab at it. Katilyn’s voice was normally low and sort of shy but, she sounded a bit louder than normal almost excited. “Tell me I don’t see little Tyson Anderson all grown up.” She laughed kindly and warmly as she slid into the booth next to him.

Tyson gave a wide sheepish smiled as he laughed. "Well, I wouldn't say litte per-say, but yeah it's definitely me!" He smiled, watching as Kaitlyn sat in the booth next to him. "Man, I haven't seen you since highschool! How are you? What brings you to the office?" He asked, he wasn't the hyper Guy he use to be in highschool, he was more calm and timid, but his eyes still sparkled with excitment. He continued to smile at her, remaining a positive look. "Man,has it really been that long since we have seen each other ? I can't believe it , you look amazing by the way. I'm loving your hair !" He grinned.

Taking a strand of her she was reminded she dyed it last month and gives a little smile. “Well I got a job here a while ago and today is supposed to my introduction to the company. As for where, I went to Europe to study for a little while and see the sights while I was at it so it’s been kinda hectic. How about you though where have you been at?” Her voice had returned to a quiet but strong voice though she was still smiling.

He smiled listening to her talk about going to Europe, his eyes widened slightly. "Woah, you went to Europe? I bet, sounds very hectic. Glad your home, but I bet you miss it over there huh?" He asked carefully. When she asked about him, he carefully waved his hand "Oh, you dont want to hear all of what happened, but after highschool I went to college, studied architectural engineering. And that's how landed this job. I have to say it's the best thing that's ever happened." He smiled carefully leaning back against his seat looking at her. "Are you starting this week?"

”Europe was cool and all but, I’m it’s alright it’s just nice to be back here where stuff is kinda familiar I guess.” Not much had been going on her life since she went to Europe for school and a bit of sightseeing but, it wasn’t long before she wanted to come back. “Also yes I do start this week at least that’s what I was told. You seem to be good hear hope that goes for me. I kinda just found the job through luck if I’m being honest but, I needed cash so I figured why not.”

"I get it, New places can be gun, but there is really no place like home." He agreed with a wide smile, leaning back against the seat. He could understand it, he had moved away for college but opted to come home after only a year away, he didn't really like the changes the new place brought him. "You'll love it Kaitlyn, they are really good with schedules, medical leave and all of that, just let them know ahead of time. They will take care of you, benefits are great, and don't get tm started on the company pool." He teased softly.

Laughing softly she tucked her hair once more and smiled. It had been a while since anyone joked around with her. Most people thought she was to gloomy to have fun so they avoided her where they could. Having an old friend who was funny was a breath of fresh air. "That sounds awesome it's been a while but I think I can still swim and I do look pretty good in a bikini." Flipping her hair dramatically she laughs once more before ordering a small burger and a drink. "So outta curiosity how have you been working here and what made you choose it if I can ask?"

Tyson snorted as he smiled. "well, i wont deny the bikini but i have to say, i also look good in a bikini." he smiled, taking a sip of his beer, watching her. when she asked what made him choose the job. he thought for a moment. "I work on a special team, we make home visits for families, and companies waning to make their home more assessable." he explained. "as for why i got this job... well um something happened, and well it humbled me quickly and working on these projects make me feel more alive." he took another sip of his beer, not really going into what had happened. "what about you? what made you choose this job?"

Almost spitting her drink out by laughing a bit too much Katilyn compsed herself before thinking. She hadn't chosen this job for much other than it paid well and she was qualified to do it. Plus a certain event rather recently was something she didn't want to think about. "Honestly it was just money, I was running low and thanks to my resume they said they would hire me. I don't have a good cause I guess but, It is a good way to help so I guess that's a plus. I was kinda in a dark place for a bit and I also thought work might help me get my mind off it."

Tyson laughed softly. " I don't mind that, that is a good reason to take a job, I don't blame you." he admitted with a soft smile. "I mean, mine isn't a great cause, more like trying to calm my guilty conscious." in high school Tyson was the mean jock, he'd make fun of people, be overly cocky. a completely different version of himself now. "Maybe you'll be assigned to my new project, we are helping renovate a old library." he grinned

Knowing all this made her relax just a little bit and her the tension in her shoulders finally dropped. “That would be super cool I’ve always wanted to be good at improving stuff. Maybe I can even ask to be assigned to yours.”

He smiled. "I gotcha no worried, hey Dave! I want Kaitlyn on my team starting, is that okay?" He asked theit boss. Dave gave him a thumbs up. "As long as Kaitlyn wants to I don't mind !" Tyson grinned. Taking another sip. "Hows monday? I need someone to be able to climb stairs think you can handle that?"

At least working with Tyson would allow for her to be able to be around someone familiar which would allow her to focus on work as apposed to being anxious. Hopefully everything went well. "Monday sounds pretty good to me though I probably need to grab coffee before, I feel like a zombie in the morning. Where are we meeting though."

"The office, just come up to my office we should be good. We can stop for coffee on the way to the Library." He promised. He looked at his watch and hummed. "I should probally head home, I need to get my cat fed." He smiled waving over a Waiter, asking for the bill. "I'll cover hers as well."

Waving back him she reminds herself that her dog Parker was at home and he probably needed to be let out. Finishing up her food Kaitlyn wipes off her mouth before standing up and making here way home. Tomorrow sounded like it might actually be ok.

Tyson took a moment before he was able to leave, paying for the meal and drinks, he waited for the waiter to come back. This time the waiter had a wheel chair. Carefully sliding himself into the chair, Tyson made his way out of the restaurant towards his mini van.

Seeing an old friend made Katilyn’s crappy day actually bearable, after what was going on with her brother this is just what she needed. Making her way home she was immediately tackled to the ground by a large German Shepherd. After letting him out and finishing up preparations for the next day she went to bed. She would have to be up early so she set a couple of alarms and her eyes closed as she fell asleep.

The next day at the office, Tyson was running super late. Some people were muttering and whispering rumors, trying to get information about what happened. But an hour after their shifts started, Tyson wheeled into the office. "Im so so sorry I'm late! I had to park so far away! I don't think anyone respects parking laws anymore!" He whined as he made his way into the break room to get some much deserved coffee. "Is Kaitlyn here?

She had gotten to the office early to wait just so she could be on time which wasn't really something she did normally but, first impressions were always important. At the moment she was standing nearby she tiredly waved a hand and moved over to Tyson. "Morning, sorry if I seem tired I have never been good with early."

Tyson smiled at Kaitlyn "your fine ! I'm actually really late! So we both can be grumpy" He admitted with a laugh, leading her to his brightly colored office. "Alrighty, so Kait, what is your specialty?"

”I would say I’m a good hands on worker, I pick up things faster than most but I’m not great with people. Sorry about that in advance.”

"Eh, your fine. I remember how you were in highschool." He teased, carefully setting his laptop up. "Are you door at writing measurements down? Or 3d design?"

”Definitely measurements, though I’m not bad with 3D design.”

"Perfect, makes you the perfect person for my team! He grinned

Smiling she looks back up after blushing slightly. She wasn’t exactly used to complements. Looking at him she asks in in curious voice. “So what do we have to do today? Or rather what should I be concerned with?”

When two souls connect- Ainz Tyson hummed carefully, turning on his computer, before he looked up at Kaitlyn. "Nothing too bad I promise, you can go ahead and sit, we may be here for a while." He admitted, carefully grabbing his coffee, taking a sip. "First things first, we need to get prepared, make sure we have everything for the appointment, and get the list of desires printed out. Just a lot of paperwork right now, oh and we need to get the zoning guys downstairs to sign off on the project, that way the city pays and not the owner." He explained, leaning back against his chair with a heavy sigh. "Did you rest well?" He asked her.

Still waking up it took a moment for Katilyn to answer but, by the time she started talking her thoughts had been gathered. “I slept pretty well thanks. I feel like I got all that but, can I ask what my actual job will be once we begin?”

Tyson gave a soft hum as he looked at her with a smile. “Mainly paperwork, i am very behind in paperwork, and i thought maybe you could help me, since parents had found out they hired someone like myself, i have been swimming in paperwork, so having an extra pair of eyes, id appreciate the help.” he replied, carefully pulling up a project on his laptop.”but i will have you help me work out ideas, i tend to go overboard, all under budget of course, but i guess David needed someone to reel me in.” he teased. “As for after the project I'm not sure, I'm sure they will put you everywhere to see where you better fit in the company, but mainly that's up to you. Here they want everyone to be comfortable, they feel comfortableity makes a great work life relationship.” he hummed softly. “Unless you're Tony, then he makes every day heck.” he groaned, naming someone who had gone to high school with them

It had been a while since she saw someone who causally talked about their stress so calmly which was nice. It was also weird to hear that Tony was working here honestly she hadn’t heard anything about him since high school. The only thing she remembered about him was that he was pretty narcissistic and hard to work with. Whether he changed or not it was still weird. “I’m sorry to hear you got this much work. I’m glad to be hear and to help and, hey even if it’s working with the beautiful Tony I’m sure I can manage to help at least a little.” To bad there wasn’t a whole lot she could do about the paperwork but… “I mean if you need some help with the paperwork I might be able to help on the basic stuff if that’s allowed. I’m not the best at coming up with ideas so hopefully I can help at least with that much.”

"Nah dont worry about it, it means im keeping customers satisfied, which is a great job with the clients." He hummed softly, . "No need to worry about Tony here, he won't bother you, he mainly just goes after me. Perfect angel with everyone else." He sighed running a hand through his hair, grabbing his office phone. "You'll do great Kaitlyn! I promise you have nothing to worry about." he smiled. "This is also your first day I want you to be able to feel relaxed and safe. So we are taking it easy today. Just to catch up on things before we head out." "which reminds me." He typed in a phone number waiting minute before speaking. "Hey Milo, calling about Tony again. How hasn't he gotten a fine yet?" He asked, leaning back in his chair sighing as he talked to who ever was on the phone. "Milo, he parked in the handicapped parking this morning, and he blocked my van side door so I couldn't get in, so yeah I'd say this requires another HR meeting." He said looking frustrated.

Sitting down in a nearby chair Katilyn downs the rest of her coffee and begins to think. She wanted to do something today that would show that she wanted the job enough for her not to be fired in the first week like her last job. Waiting for Tyson to finish with his phone call she ended up going to get a protein bar from a vending machine nearby. After all she hadn't eaten breakfast yet so she wanted something to snack on. Once Tyson had finished with his call she speaks up. "You want me to talk to Tony later? You said he is pretty nice to everyone else. Maybe I could get him to chill out. Plus it's not like I do anything after work most of the time anyway."

Tyson sighed rubbing his temple feeling the stress already. "No no, that's alright. It seems I'm going to have to fight my own battle. Besides this is your first week. Cant have tony already being rude towards tou yeah? " He admitted "by my own battles I'm calling the police and towing his truck again, blocking my van door on purpose because it's funny." He grumbled carefully gathering papers so they could get started with work.

"If your sure I won't press but let me know if he keeps being rude, your the only person here I know so kinda sucks to see you stressed over this." Stretching the last bit of soreness out of her a yawn comes out as she blinks the rest of the sleep in her eyes. "Anyway once your done do we have anything that I actually got to do today or is it going to be relaxed? Just curious."

Tyson gave a small sigh as he looked at her. Giving a small nod. "Actually yes, we have a home visit." He replied carefully typing on his computer. "A mom who's son just recently became paralyzed needs her home reconstructed and asked if we could go in and see what she can do to make her home more accessible for him and herself." He explained. Giving Kaitlyn an email password and user he smiled. "This is the new work email, you can change the password, but I've already emailed you the blueprints. I need you to look it over and see what else the family may need. The mother is stressed and has given us complete freedom." He explained softly "work your magic!"

Although Kaitlyn had never been a fan of people this seemed like a pretty easy job so grabbing her coat before leaving she walks back into Tysons office. "Anything I should be aware of before I head over there in teamrs of design or is this going to be a free project? I will probably would have some ideas when I come back if you want to hear them."

"Free project ." Tyson replied looking up from his paper giving her a smile. "The only requirement they asked, was we make sure the house still has a privacy feel. She is worried her son is going to feel trapped and like he will never have his own privacy since his mom has to care for him. She wants us to make sure the house had privacy and maybe turn one of the offices into a game room for him?" He had a look of wonder as he read over the paper. "I don't know about you, but this makes me very excited." He chuckled. "She gave us complete freedom. But today we are doing measurements maybe we can talk to her son and get some ideas od what he'd like in the room. And yes I'd love to hear your ideas. I'm coming with you Kaitlyn." He chuckled. "We are a team I'm not going to throw you in the deepens on your first day." He promised

Although she worked alone most of the time maybe having someone along would allow her to learn something faster than normal. Plus it was someone she knew so it couldn't be all bad. She had developed a habit of thinking out loud and that's what she started to do. "All right then, I mean I can do privacy. I actually have something at home that might work for the son if they have the room for it. Hopefully I can put that and the game room together..."

Tyson smiled. "Sounds perfect! Let's make the home visit then we can head back to the office and work on the blue prints and 3d model." He said closing his laptop putting it in his bag. He carefully put the bag behind his wheelchair before rolling over towards her. "Do you want me to drive? Or would you like too. I'm not sure how you feel about others driving." He chuckled carefully moving out of the office "wait, have you had breakfast? Let's stop and get a coffee."

Not having seen the wheelchair before now it was a shock and she paused for a moment, but not wanting to be rude she instead put her coat on nonchalantly. She wondered what had happened to him... "Nah I can drive, and I am starving so yeah lets grab something on the run. I actually know a pretty good coffee place nearby called Po's Coffee House. They have awesome muffins and a ridiculously good cherry mocha coffee if you would be up for trying it."

Tyson hummed. "Sounds amazing! Yes let's go there!" He agreed with a wide smile, grabbing his jacket on the way out, leading her towards the elevator. He pressed the down button as they waited. "Do they have hot chocolate? I've been dying for a hot chocolate lately, but to lazy to make it myself, though that cherry mocha coffee does sound amazing. But do I really wanna hype myself up when we just reconnected?" He teased entering the elevator when the doors opened.

Rolling her eyes playfully in an exaggerated manner she laughs. He was funny at least she had to give him that much and that would make this job easy "One, yes they have hot chocolate, and second why are you talking like we are an 80 year old couple just meeting again?"

Tyson smiled. "I mean, tenically we are, I mean I haven't seen you in what 7 years? Not since we graduated high-school." He chuckled softly. "But I'll stop talking like that if it's uncomfortable, I'll just get coffee and talk a mile a minute?" He chuckled. He hadn't meant to sound so sappy, but it really was nice to see her again, he hasn't seen her in so long, he just wanted to be in the moment. As the elevator doors opened he followed her onto the main lobby. "Are we taking your car?" He asked her softly

It didn't bother her at all and honestly it was fun to be able to joke around so she wasn't going to stop him if he wanted to joke like that. Plus it reminded her about something. "Nah it dosen't bother me at all in fact it's actually nice to be able to joke around after how everyone else acts around me. Also you just reminded me that it really has been super long. It's nice to be able to work with a friend it makes my anxiety disappear in a way. Also yeah we can take my car I have a truck so you can throw your chair in the back. It's pretty dirty though." She laughed. It wasn't too bad but, she might as well warn him now.

Tyson snorted softly as he smiled. "As long as I can reach the back seat I'm all good. I don't mind the dirt. Besides I don't think your ready for the amazing van I have." He winked carefully following her towards her vehicle. "But if we could stop by my van I can get my handie cap sticker to put on your mirror so we can park closer at the coffee shop. And I'm glad I can help make your anxiety disappear Kaitlyn you help me too." He smiled going over towards his van, he had a annoyed look when he saw Tony's truck parked extremely close to his van door so he couldnt get in. "Ah yes another day another thousand dollar ticket." He rolled his eyes, carefully getting his keys from his pocket. "Do you mind getting into the driver seat to grab the sticker? I can't get in." He admitted with a sheepish smile. "I promise to buy you an extra treat at the shop!"

Despite trying not to at the comment of an extra treat she laughed and then blushed for laughing. It honestly was kinda cute how cheery he was for someone who had been bothered already once this morning. She put that thought out of her head as fast as she could though. “Yeah I can grab it. It might take me a sec to squeeze through though.” Squeezing between the massive truck and getting the door open was a pain but eventually she managed to get the pass and close the van back up before waving to an newer Ford Raptor sitting a couple spots down. “That one’s mine if you need some help getting in let me know that thing is lifted pretty high.”

Tyson smiled following her wave, his jaw dropped when he saw the Ford Raptor, his once cheery smile disappeared and was replaced with a look of shock. "I-i." He cleared his through trying to act cool. "Nah, I totally can handle that, I just... need to think for moment." He admitted, carefullt moving closer, trying not look as worried ad he felt, he figured he could try and get in, but he wouldn't be able to get out or get his wheelchair in without help, and he wasn't sure if Kaitlyn was able to hold him up so he could get in. He was so thankful no one parked next to her, he carefully made his way into the passenger side trying his best to find a safe and affective way to get in. After a long long while he relized he did need her help. "You don't supose you could lift me yeah?" He asked with a wide smile remaining cheerful, but she could tell he looked embaressed.

Thankfully Katilyn had been regularly working out since getting back to the states and since he couldn’t weigh more than 300lbs she should be able to lift him albeit not without some effort. “Yeah no problem I’m just gonna squat down and you can hook on my shoulders. I’ll just see you in the seat and take care of your chair.” Getting to her knees she kneels with her back facing Tyson and gets ready to lift. She could lift the chair easy so she wasn’t too worried about the whole thing. Though why he looked almost scared confused her.

Tyson carefully held onto her tightly, tensing slightly as she lifted him up, but relaxed when he relized she did have a good hold on him, he breathed a sigh of relief looking to her with a smile. "Dang, you really are strong, maybe I'll just make you carry me the whole way there." He teased with a wink. He couldn't help but feel greatful that she was able to lift him, he wasn't sure what they would of done if she wasn't able too. When she placed him into the seat he sighed in relief. "Now the easy part, trying to take the wheels off." He replied hummed, trying to figure out the best way he's be able get the wheels off. He buckled himself in before leaning down to get the wheels detached. He was glad he did buckle in.

Waiting for him to finish she leaned on the side of her truck glad that she had been able to do it. She yawned and stretched. Apparently her not sleeping last night took more of a toll then she thought it would. “Maybe I will carry you the whole way who knows. However it would be a shame to not hear my truck start up. Had to save up for 4 years to get her and she sounds amazing. Trust me you want to hear it.” After the wheels were taken off she gently placed the chair in the back of the truck and hopped in the drivers side. Turning the truck on it roared to life. She connected her phone to her playlist and out came Boulevard of Broken dreams. “Feel free to change the music anytime by the way.”

"So you mean your not one of those drivers that force the passengers to listen to the playlist they pick? Amazing " He teased, leaning back in the seat as he looked out the window humming along to the radio, he had to admit it really was a nice truck, he liked how smooth the ride was. "Four years you say? That's amazing im glad you were able to find something you liked. And were able to get it" He smiled widely, looking at her ad she drove "It's a nice truck!"

Having someone compliment her choice was kinda rare, everyone always called her truck too flashy so it was nice to find someone who could appreciate it. She laughed at the music comment as well. "Oh no I am the all powerful music bringer. I only listen to what I like! Behold my power!" She couldn't keep up with the joke and laughed instead before asking him a question of her own. "How about that van of yours what made you want it over anything else?"

Tyson laughed listening to her comment about being the music Bringer. He smiled as he turned to her, giving his full attention. "Ah yes the bringer of music! It all makes sense." He chuckled softly. When Kaitlyn asked what made him get a van instead of something else, he paused to think, trying to think of a way he could explain his reasoning. "Honestly, accessibility. It's hard on the wheels always attaching and detecting them all the time. But with the van I'm able to get in and out without disassembling my chair. Plus it's got so much space for outdoor movies all I gotta do is lay on the floor of rhe van and bam, I'm safe from rain." He grinned as he leaned back. "Have you been to an outdoor movie with your truck? I bet it eould be fun putting a airmatress I the back."

Buying it for accessibility made sense and now that she though about it did seem stupid. She was happy that he seemed so at ease with whatever had happened to him it was crazy. "Fair enough I suppose it's not always fun to be wet." She had to prep herself before saying what came next but, she had explained it before so it wasn't as difficult this time around. "As for the outdoor movie, yeah actually my old boyfriend and I used to go and set up a little tent with a tarp and mattress in the back of the truck. It used to be a lot of fun."

Tyson smiled listening to her talk he nodded softly. "Yeah that makes sense and sounds like alot of fun." He agreed softly. "Maybe you can do that again someday, wait use to be?" He asked with a frown. "Did something happen to make it no longer fun ?" He asked guessing she probally broke up with her ex partner. He leaned back against the seat humming. "Maybe you can do it with yourself make it fun again, you never know."

Although it happened a long time ago it was still shitty to remember it. Fair point though that something bad had probably happened to Tyson so at least he more than likely understood that sympathy wasn't always great. "No he uh... he passed away in a bank robbing. So I rushed to the hospital and got the chance to say goodbye. Haven't gone to the theater since then." She realized for a supposedly lighthearted conversation she was probably bringing down the mood. "Sorry about that I didn't mean to ramble. I totally killed the mood."

Tysons heart dropped into his stomach as he heard that, he looked at her with sad eyes. "Kaitlyn I am so so sorry." He said softly as he looked at her. "That's horrible and you don't deserve that happening to you nor to him." He wasn't sure what to say, he felt awful that she had gone through that, no one deserves to lose a loved one. "If there's anything I can do please don't hesitate, grief is a silent killer ." He said softly "and don't apologize sometimes we need to talk about it."

This is why she really didn’t talk about it cause people always wanted to talk about it but, having a lot of offers like this she knew what to say to move on from the conversation. “Yeah, I appreciate the offer it means a lot to me. Wildly off topic but pretty sure the turn from the coffee shop. Don’t mean to sound like I’m cutting off the conversation, but I am starving.”

Tyson hummed softly as he leaned back. "Nope your completely fine I get it. I'm hungry as well so no worries .' He promised carefully getting his wallet out of his bag looking at Kaitlyn. "Do you wsnt to go inside ?" He asked her. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable, so he didn't continue the conversation, or comment on the redirection. He just looked forward and waited doe her to tell him if they were going to get out of the car or not

As she pulled into the lot she considered that he would have to assemble the chair again he probably didn’t want to do that kinda work. However better to ask then to assume. “Your choice they have a drive-thru but, if we have time and, you want to check out the inside we can. It’s filled with all sorts of old poetry and a stage for slam nights.”

"Oh I don't mind Kaitlyn." He smiled. "Yeah let's check out the inside I've never been here so you'll have to show me the ropes. Juat make sure you use the magic sticker, front row parking" He teased with a smile, as he grabbed his bag making sure he had his wallet and things inside. He looked at the door a bit afraid he wasn't going to be able to fit inside but he was glad there wad outside seats, so even if he couldn't make it in the door he was able to still to enjoy the Cafe.

Turning into a parking spot Kaitlyn cuts the truck off. Stepping out of the truck she grabs the chair from the back and sets it up the same way she had seen Tyson do. Setting it down in front of the door she waits for him to get out. "We can sit down outside outside and enjoy some food and coffee before leaving."

Tyson smiled being as careful as he could trying to lower himself into his chair, he hummed softly trying to stay positive and uplifting. Once he was finally settled in his chair he closed the door and smiled. "Sure! It's a beautiful day out I'd hate to waste more time inside then wr already have to do." He smiled following her

"Fair enough I suppose. I guess we can wait here for the waiter. I have never actually sat outside here before so I don't know what we to do."

Tyson raised an eyebrow looking at her with shock. "You haven't ate out here before? I mean if your more comfortable inside we can go, I don't mind at all!" He replied with a small smile. "Really I don't mind at all!"

"No its just that I always eat inside so I just don't know if we need to grab someone or not. It is a nice day out though so I am all for sitting out here and enjoying the sun."

Tyson smiled carefully making his way towards one of the tables happily making room so he was able to be comfortable. He looked up at Kaitlyn and smiled. “So, let me ask you this, what do you normally get here? Are you a coffee and muffin gal, or are you a tea and egg sandwich one?” He asked her

Thinking on it since it had been a while since she had the time to come it took Kaitlyn a moment to remeber what she used to get. "Mostly coffe and danish so not to far off. I used to always get the chocolate cherry mocha and a really good raspberry danish they servered here. What about you? Tea or coffee guy?"

“Oh well that sounds good, wonder if they have that here, I’ll have to try it sometime.” He chuckled softly. “Me? Oh it depends on the day. If I have a doctors appointment, or a very stressful day I’ll have tea. But if I’ve been up all night or need to stay awake I’ll get coffee. But each time I get a breakfast sandwich.” He chuckled softly “egg, cheese and sausage my main go too.”

"Guess it all depends on the day huh? Let me waive a server over so we can eat, we still need to get to the project or we are gonna get in trouble right?"

Tyson nodded “sure thing! We don’t have to rush into the project you know Kaitlyn, we could take some time to talk more and get to know each other a bit more since it’s been so long .”

Sitting down and talking with people was never her thing. Often she found she could only keep up conversations for so long. This was an old friend though so she might be able to keep up with it for a while. After getting confirmation that a waiter would be outside she sat back down. “Right then. Did you have something in mind that you want to talk about.”

“Well you didn’t tell me what brought you back to town, did you just take the job because it was available? It was there something else drawing you back here?” He asked. Carefully looking at her as he offered a smile. “I mean you don’t have to Awnser if you don’t want too promise, just want to make small talk:

“ Mostly came back because England was too rainy so I was happy to come back. I just found out the it was available so I took it when I got the chance.”

He gave a small laugh. “Yes I can see why it would be so rainy.” He chuckled softly with a smile. “But I bet it was still nice there, but there is no place like home.” He agreed

"It was definitly fun, I did a bunch of stuff over there. I was even a EMT at one point, though it definitly takes some getting used to. It was hard but, good work. Here though I just feel more comfortable. Plus I get to use a gun here." Going to the shooting range was always super calming for some reason and most called her crazy for thinking it was calming but, it always worked when she was stressed. "Actually, now that I think about it... have you ever shot a gun before or gone camping or anything?"

“An EMT, that’s amazing Kait!” He smiled at her listening to her talk about her time in England, his eyes widened a bit when she mentioned she got to use Guns. “Wait really you have?” He asked looking a bit surprised. “No; I haven’t shot a gun at all, I’ve not been camping since I was 12.” He hummed with a small shrug. “I’d like to go again sometime , but I’d be afraid it would rain and I’d be trapped in the tent for a few days.”

Kaitlyn smirked slightly, this was a great opportunity to teach him. After all teaching people was almost as fun as doing it herself. “You want to try? I was actually planning to go to the shooting range this Thursday and planning a camping trip from Friday after to Sunday night. Of course you don’t have to but, it could be fun.”

“Oh! Um yeah sure we can do that .” he agreed with a nod. “I’m not sure how good I’ll be but I think I can change my schedule around that way we can go. Tho I’m not sure how much fun I’ll be camping .” He chuckled softly. “I’ve been told I snore.” As he leaned back in his chair he tried to imagine what it would be like to camp now, he gave a small hum in though as he nodded . “Sure thing, just text me the plan.”

It hadn't been too long a time since she had gone to the range and she had a couple of firearms in her home so even if he didn't have one she was sure she could find one that he would like. "Great! I'll set it up and do you want to me to pick you up or would you rather take the van? As for the camping it's going to be fine I have plenty of experience so it's not to bad. I only have one tent though, you ok with that?"

“Oh I don’t mind! I rather take my van that way you don’t have to keep lifting me into your truck, but whatever is better for you I am fine with.” He agreed as he gave her a smile “Oh. Yeah one tent should be fine, though I have to warn you I snore. I’ve been told louder then a lawn mower.” He winked carefully sitting up; he was both excited and nervous, he’s not been in the woods in a long time, so the idea of being away from the city was a bit terrifying . “So, how often do you go camping ?” He asked her curiously

"Once a week if I can, I never was a people person so getting away from everything for a couple days a week was always a blessing for me." "Hey for the range you wouldn't happen to have a gun or anything, if not it's not a big deal you can use some of mine. If we are gonna do this though I want to be preped cause it will be right form the range to the camping grounds.:

“Once a week?” Tyson repeated shocked he looked at her amazed. “That’s both amazing and terrifying.” He said rubbing the back of his neck. “Oh. Um no, no I don’t I’ve never shot a gun before so I’ve never seen a reason to get one. Be prepared? There arnt going to be any bears right ?@ he asked proving to her that he was a city person through and through.

A small giggle left Kaitlyns lips at his response before she composed herself and brushed her hair back out of her eyes. The response was actually kinda cute, she had gotten it from friends who had never really seen the wild. She never got tired of it. "No, no bears at least probably not. I was talking I want to have all my stuff packed so we can go from the range straight to the site without having to double back or anything. Also don't worry about it, I will protect you from the big bad bears if it comes to that."

“Oh. Oh yeah that makes sense.” he nodded, but his face turned a dark shade of red as she kinda baby talked him about the bears. Rubbing the back of his neck he looked at her with a serious look. “I’m just asking because I can’t get away quickly if there is danger.” He replied softly “I’ll make sure to have my things packed and put in the car so after we go to the range we can just camp.” He agreed, “how long would you like to be gone for ?”

Kaitlyn blushed in embarrassment she hadn't meant to sound mean. "Yeah, I gotcha. I was hoping to be gone for the weekend since work is on the weekdays but if I can I am planning a week or two long trip soon. That's normally when I go out hunting as well."

“You hunt as well? You definitely sent the same girl from high school.” He teased with a small smile as he leaned back against his chair. “Yeah the weekend sounds good, just let me know at least a week ahead of time, I normally work overtime then but I’m sure I can survive a day or two without it.” He chuckled

“Well I was planning to go this weekend if you are ok with it but, if not I go next week too. As for the hunting I got into it with a friend of my Dads who loves it. He taught me what I know right now.”

“I…yeah sure I’m let me actually get back to you tomorrow, I need to do a bunch of things before I am able to go.” He replied rubbing the back of his neck. “But yes I will be ready Friday if that’s the day you’re wanna do.”

"Either way, when was the last time you went camping back in high school I don't remember much but, I don't think I heard you going camping too much. Do you enjoy it or no?"

“Um, like I said 12 was the last time I went camping, was the last time my dad was able and willing to be with me and hang out.” He hummed trying not to sound to depressing. “Honestly, I don’t enjoy the dirt, I’m more of a stay indoors type guy.”

She could understand that. Though she was always a stay out in the woods girl since she wasn’t a fan of people. “That’s fair, but trust me it will be super fun. I have been doing it for years and never really had a problem.”

Tyson gave a smile. “Well I trust you, so I’m looking forward to whatever you want us to do on our camping trip.” He promised . Carefully leaning back against the seat as he gave a small hum. “Do you think it will rain?” He asked her

Thankfully she had gone over the forcast and it looked to to a clear weekend and the place she had in mind was pretty well surrounded by trees. "Not that I know of it should be pretty clear though Sunday looks like it will be sorta cloudy. Plus worse case scenario I own a cabin that I inherited from my grandpa out there so if we really need to we can just head up there."

Tyson looked amazed. “You never fail to amaze me Kaitlyn that’s for sure.” He chuckled softly as he smiled softly, “how’s your parents by the way? I haven’t seen them since graduation.”

"They are actually doing pretty well. My dad actually ended up taking me out for drinks last week with my little brother in tow. Mom has just been working but, she still calls to check on me at least once or twice a week." Though she complained about it she knew her mom was only worried and honestly the talks weren't that bad. "What about you? What's your family been up to?" (Don't worry about it.)

Tyson smiled softly. “We must be getting older, your brothers old enough to drink?” he asked looking amazed. “woah, I’m glad you are able to see them. I have to say mom calls are the best, and when they stop I bet you will miss them.” When she asked about his family he gave a small smile. “Unfortunately it’s just me and my twin You remember him right Ben? He’s off traveling. After my accident mom passed and dad left with his girlfriend.”

"Yeah my brother turned 21 a couple months ago so he wanted to have a drinking game for his birthday. No suprise he outdrank me after all I am a lightweight

"Sorry to hear about your mom but, hey if your brother is doing all right then at least that is something right. It's always good to have family."

Tyson sat back in his seat looking both shocked and amazed. “I can’t believe that. Time is flying by. I hope he’s doing well.”he said, running a hand through his hair with a soft sigh. “Oh don’t worry about it, she isn’t in pain, that's always a good thing, dad is just a jerk so nothing to worry about. Yeah I’m glad he’s doing well, I wish him nothing but the best.” He said with a small smile. “But family is family.”

"That's true, can choose friend but not family huh? You about ready to head out I think if we wait too long we might get in trouble and it's already 9:30. If you want at the very least we should let them know we are gonna be a bit late." After all she was eager to start on this project it would take her mind off recent events and should be good enough to distract her.

Tyson chuckled softly. “Yeah I suppose you're right, can’t keep them waiting now can we?” He chuckled carefully, getting his wallet out so he could give the barista a tip. Carefully giving it to the person, he gave Kaitlyn a smile, following her back to the truck. “Just breathe I promise, it’s not scary and it will be an amazing experience.” He promised her, giving a small smile. “But I must warn you this is for a teen who recently became wheelchair bound, emotions will run high, are you sure you will be okay while we are in here?” He asked her softly, wanting to make sure she would be okay

Honestly the thought did scare her a bit she was never good with people to begin with and this kid and mom just went through something so awful it was a lot to think about. Putting on a brave smile she looks at Tyson and she helps him into the truck once again. "Do I look like a chicken. Emotions are my forte don't you worry about a thing."

Tyson snorted softly as he grinned. “No, you don’t look like a chicken, but I know clients like this can and will take a total on you, so I want you to know that no matter what I am there, and if you need a breather just let me know.” He said in a serious tone. “We are a team, and it’s okay to need a breather.” He promised. Carefully getting himself buckled, Tyson sighed softly, running a hand through his hair. If he was being honest, he was a bit afraid to meet the clients. They had gone through something he understood, but he wasn’t sure how the family was handling the change. He expected them to ask him a lot of personal questions, and he wasn’t sure if he was ready for that. He knew he’d be calling his twin later that night, to ask for some advice, or to just be a shoulder to lean on. Carefully shaking himself out of his thoughts, he turned to Katelyn and smiled “ready?”

I apologize I’m aware that it’s has been pretty inactive. Work has kept me staying pretty late recently so I haven’t been able to do much. It isn’t going to be permanent I plan to start going back to it within a couple weeks as I will be on leave.

Truth be told she was kinda nervous even if she wasn’t letting it show. Accidents like this families were always hard to see and, it made her tear up every once and a while. Turning the engine over she backs out of the Cafe parking lot. “Can you ever really be ready for something like this? Keeping myself in check so far though. Hopefully we can get this done and it will be smiles all around.”

Tyson gave a small smile. “You're right, you can’t really be ready, we don’t know how the person or family is going, but it will be alright .” He promised giving her a small smile. “Besides, it gets easier, this will be my fourth visit with a family. But I will admit when I get home I can’t help but feel a little dread after these meetings. I just want to help them, you know?” Tyson always felt guilty after family meetings, he would sit at home hoping and praying he said the right thing, even if he knew what he said could make or break the rest of the appointments with that family, sometimes his words brought comfort, and others the horrible reminder that he two had been in their shoes. He took a moment to think about how today was going to go, he really hopped it would go well.

The fact that even though Tyson was nervous too put Katilyn’s mind at ease. At least this time she could have someone with experience helping out and she could help him if he needed it. All things considered it could be far worse than having someone you know to help out. “For someone who claims to be ready to feel dread you got my spirit up. Maybe you should be like a motivational speaker or something. You got that peppy attitude. Maybe put like a cat poster giving the thumbs up or something.”

Tyson gave a cocky grin, “you know what, you convinced me. Ill just quit my job and go around the country to motivate them.” he teased as he gave a laugh. “Yeah il; make sure to change my profile to a cat, falling out of a tree telling people they can do anything they put their mind too.” he smiled softly, looking ahead at the road in front of them. “It's a different tye of dread, some because i understand what they are going through, and because i cant put myself in their loved ones shoes. Being the one who had this sudden change is one thing, but being the one grieving the joy that their loved one is feeling is another.” he admitted softly. He knew it sounded like a mouthful but it was the truth he used to grieve the person he was before his accident, but he didnt know how his family felt seeing him go through it. “I'm just warning you, they may cry, so have lots of tissues, and be prepared, we aren't just designers, we are some of these caregivers emotional support, and sometimes the only support they get.”
