As Solasta opened her eyes, the first thing she felt was the sharp pain in her stomach. She couldn't remember anything, not where she came from, how long she’s been in here, but she knew she was in trouble. Sol tried to move but realized she was confined to a small, dirty cage. The room was dark, and the only light came from a small window high up on the wall. She could hear faint noises from outside, like whispers and footsteps, but she couldn't make out what they were saying.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. The elven was alone, malnourished, and barely had enough strength to move. She could only hope for someone to find her, but deep down, she knew that was unlikely. She had heard enough whispers to know that she was in a society run by vampires, and they were the ones who had imprisoned her.
The elf had heard stories about these vampires, how they ruled with an iron fist, and how they chose humans to be their "pets." These "pets" were kept in cages, and their sole purpose was to serve as a source of food and entertainment for their vampire masters. The thought of becoming one of those pets was terrifying
She would curl up into a ball, in her smaller cage resting her head in her knees, awaiting for her death, she figured nobody will choose her, no, she’s been here for what felt like decades and yet every walked passed her, she only prayed that her death would come sooner..
