With the information given to him now, Kaelan was set on looking for other students who were also apart of House Veritas. Now that most if not almost all the students had their belongings in order, he searched around, trying to chat with any student he came across. But it was all the same. They either recoiled as his appearance, ignored him, or were flat out rude in general. It was like nobody around wanted anything to do with him. Which was a bit annoying, but he kept trying no matter what.
"Hey! You're in Veritas, right? My name's Kaelan! I hope we have a good year!" he would say to a male standing off to the side with a couple of other students, probably from the same house. "Tch, why the hell would they let a mutt like you into Veritas? Is this some kind of sick joke? You're the opposite of Veritas." Kaelan stood there, his tail that had once been wagging started to slow down and eventually stop. "Being associated with you is sure to curse anyone around. Get lost!"
Kaelan took a step back, but remained firm. "You don't know that. You don't know anything about my curse. Growing up, nobody else was affected by it. So I think I'm safe to be around!" he said back, trying to return to his cheerful self. "You'll probably go on some crazy beastly rampage and try to murder your own classmates. I mean, look at you! You're a monster at best!" he snickered. Kaelan's ears began to fall slowly behind his head. "I've never once hurt another person.." "Doesn't matter, we don't like you, so get lost"
The male took another step back, clutching his materials before backing off and walking away. He could hear them chattering, along with various other students around him. Being isolated like this, was scary. Slowly, he went to go take a seat far away from all the other students. He found that he had sat nearby the student from before, but he kept his distance while he went over all the stuff he had as well as the classes he'd be attending. *I can't let this get me down. I'm her
