ROLEPLAY HQ - the-lakatos-castle

It was late when it happened, you were talking on your phone about work and fail to notice the speeding car on the street it happened so fast. You woken up after some time in the most comfortable bed you've even been in and in a luxurious bedroom with a king size bed

My head is throbbing as I sit up and try to remember how the hell I got into this bed cause it's definitely not mine. "Where in the world am I?" Looking around the room I can tell this is definitly more lavish than I am used to, I didn't even have a proper house until just two years ago and I definitly don't know anyone with a place this nice. I try to get up but, my legs buckle and I have to sit back down.

The door opens quietly as a man comes inside with a tray of food noticing you "Ah my dear you're awake" I chuckled walking to you as I put the tray down on the night stand, I am very tall then the average man, long black hair, and pointy ears and a pale skin. I was dressed in more vintage clothing (edited)

Who is this? I definitely don't recognize him and I instinctively tense up raising my shoulder in case I need to fight. "I just got up a moment ago actually. Would you be so kind as to tell me where I am. I remembering getting in a wreck but, this certainly doesn't look like any hospital I have ever been in."

I chuckled a little looking at her my red eyes shining with the light of the candle she was a interesting "Ah well my dear, you are finding yourself in my castle, yes it's no hospital but it will do" I smile softly my accent was not something regular, it was a Romanian accent but with better english "Please lay down you are still healing after all It would be ashamed to see you in pain"

A castle? Who the hell lives in a castle? I mean it would definitely explain why everything is so nice but, really? "Thank you for the explanation but, why am I here? I should be in a hospital shouldn't I? I don-" My head flairs and I release my leg hurts too. How badly did I get hurt? "What is your name by the way Sir?"

I chuckled grabbing a jar with some blue cream watching you "It's been awhile since someone asked me who I am..I'm Daniel. To say the least" I apply the blue mysterious cream on your leg softly my hands bring gently and slowly "And to you being here. I found you on the street while on my evening walk. You were unconscious and I felt bad no one had called an ambulance or anything of sorts. So I've taken you here"

I feel off, like I can't quite make out what's going on but, as the pain disappears from my leg my muscles go loose in relief. Any urge I had to defend myself disappearing with the pain. "I-well.. thank you very much I appreciate it. Kindness isn't something I'm used to so this is an unusual site to say the least." I gesture for the cream and chuckle. "I may be hurt but, I'm not useless. You don't need to trouble yourself I can do that I would hate to be a pain after you've already been so nice."

I smile as I set the cream away on the night stand it's been awhile since I've had someone in this lonely castle "Oh my darling I'm just being my usual self. It's not everyday I have visitors in this old lonely castle. And you won't be a pain either I enjoy helping" I chuckled ticking my hair behind my ear looking at you "Tho I believe you don't think of me of a human I presume. Since with all of this I mean" I was referring to my pointy ears, red eyes and way of clothing

Frankly I had seen worse, when dad used to transform it was pretty weird but, I got used to it quickly. I was also told about other creatures most humans wouldn't know including the one right it front of me. "No I see that you are a vampire, but I'm not too concered. Even with my parents being what they were my family actually had decent ties with some vampires back where I am from." That being said I really hope that whoever this is they don't have werewolf's. I know some vamps despise my kind and I really would rather not die here tonight.

I sigh standing up looking at the mirror strange enough my reflection could be seen as I walk to it "I can smell it in your scent. You aren't human. But you aren't a Sanchez either. You are a regular wolf" I closed my eyes sighing looking at you scanning your wounds "I am a question for you my dear. Did you ever knew there's more types of beasts? "

Not suprising that he could smell the wolf blood in me, vampires have excellent smell after all. Thank the god's he doesn't seem to hate me. "I know of the Fae and woodland spirts since that's what my dad interacted with the most. I always thought they were quite nice actually." The Sanchez name is odd I think I remember hearing about them from Dad a long time ago, I remember I was always told to stay away from them. "Why do you ask? I assume there is a reason."

I walked to you watching your every move, you were someone that had no clue was going on around this world better yet you didn't know much about the Sanchez "Well for example. For vampires there's 3 types. The regular as you know them. The typical Hollywood vampires. But there's other two. The Tepes that decent from Dracula himself, they are fairly weak but stronger then a regular. Then there's Lakatos this types of vampires are the strongest so far known to man. They are powerful, they posses a beast within them like the werewolves and they are smarter with magic. I am the first Lakatos. And I've walked this earth for awhile now"

My jaw drops, I never in my wildest dreams thought I would meet an ancient vampire in my life. Now more than ever I am glad that I am not someone to get violent quickly. Strong as I might be in comparison to other wolfs thanks to my dad being Alpha I would have lost that fight quickly. "I actually did hear about that from my old pack. I didn't even know there were ancient ones still walking the earth I thought you had all gone into hiding." It makes sense after all they were wanted for many important tasks in the monster world and I can imagine getting called on for tasking all the time got old really quickly.

I sat down on the bed taking a mental note another pack? I bet the Sanchez were trying to track them down but fail for some reason "Well my children are technically with the humans. We can turn however we please. One of my sons owns the biggest fashion shops in the world, one of my daughters own a fight club of some sorts. We all are hiding in plain sight. Not me tho. I have to be here and keep an eye out from those Sanchez." I growled as my hair was a little floating grinding my teeth a little as my red eyes were shining dangerously I seem to hate that family "How much you know about the Sanchez little one? "

Great he's mad I try to remeber my detective training and keep my voice level. I definitely don't want to leave in worse shape than I came in. "Honestly all I know is that they contacted my Dad who was the Alpha and he told them to piss off. He said to never mix with them no matter what." Apparently they were violent and didn't listen to reason well either. "The only reason they backed off is cause our pack was bigger than the party they sent to negotiate. When I became Alpha I always stayed away from there territory."

I take a deep breath calming down, this was bad " well my little one. I know the idiot himself. Carlos is his name. He rules over his little pack.. The hell am I saying his enormous pack of offsprings and turned wetdogs. Since he is older then me and can't find death himself he thinks he's better than me" I growled standing up walking back a d forth remember all those times Carlos kids attacked the castle or some of my turned children "He isn't your average werewolf. He is pure wolf. He was born with the body of a werewolf with no human form and a female mate by his side that he gave her his blood so she wouldn't die"

I had heard the rumors but, never thought they were true. Sure us werewolf's lived longer than humans. Sometimes by hundreds of years because of our healing factor but, immortality? Was that really possible? "I guess that kind of makes sense. Us wolves are prideful by default and immortality would definitely make that even worse." It also explains why he was so quick to anger. If he had an ego anywhere near the size I am thinking of he wouldn't take kindly to being turned down. "Well, I really don't know much other than his range of territory since I always distanced from their pack."

I sigh knowing full well on Carlos doing for a long time I've considered him as a friend but he stabbed me in the back once and that started our war "His territory is big and filled to the max of his offerings and new blood. Him and I aren't on very good terms after one of his damn sons taken my lover away" I looked down then at the mirror remembering the day.. It was a hurtful day

I can see the pain in his eyes, immortail or not he is obviously hurt over losing who he cares about. Part of me wants to give him a hug he looks so damn depressed but, I doubt he would be ok with that. "No wonder you hate the guy but, if it makes you feel any better I hate him too. His pack is the one who killed my Dad over a territory dispute." Pain wells up in my chest as I remember the night it all happened and honestly I can't blame him for feeling hurt either. Looks like that asshole of a werewolf hurt quite a few good people.

I looked at you walking over to your bed tucking your hair behind your ear softly, if only you knew my lover has been taken away over 100 years ago "Well then, I suppose we have something in common. I am very sorry for your lost losing a parent isn't easy. But I do recommend rest you are healing still and the Moonbell cream hasn't kick in yetm but by tomorrow I bet you'll be walking" I smile softly moonbells are rare in this part of country

Moonbells huh? Mom used to use them if they could spare them around the village. He is using some really nice stuff on me. I guess I owe him even more than my life at this point. "I should be up even sooner than that. My healing facter is pretty good being an alpha. Give me an hour or two and I'll be good as new with the medicine you gave me." What could I give him though? I mean he probably has plenty of money considering how nice the castle is. "Let me know how I can pay you back. Seriously I owe you my life so don't hesitate to ask for anything you might want. I'll do my best to get it for you."

I chuckled softly, this little lady was adorable but I couldn't ask for nothing in return it didn't felt right to ask a mortal for anything "Oh please don't worry your little head about repayment. I am just happened to help anyone in need.. Plus I had to help before one of the Starrys found you" I sigh softly the Starrys were some bad people, thank god they didn't found her before I did

I am not familiar with that term and am about to question in when that awful headache returns and I have to lay down and close my eyes. "I will repay you one way or another. Wolfs have there pride after all so don't bother saying no, I won't take it for an answer." I bring my head down to the pillow and sigh. I have to get back to my case soon. Thankfully my pack knew I would be gone for a while but, I shouldn't stay too long.

I looked at you as I pulled up the covers over you basically tucking you in, I was hoping you wouldn't feel any worse in the morning "Sleep my dear, in the morning one of my maids or Butlers will take you to dinning room for breakfast" I smiles as I blow off the candle leaving you to rest

Even though it was hard to fall asleep when I finally did it was so peaceful. I woke up and felt more rested than I had in a long time, though I suppose actually sleeping for more than and hour probably contributed to that. As I stretch my legs and test my weight on them I unwrap the bandages to see that, as expected, my wounds are almost completely gone.

You've heard a knock in the door as a woman comes in a maid sort to speak. She is talk with long black hair and purple eyes she comes in as a small orange cat passed her jumping on the bed looking at you meowing "Oh dear oh my I'm so sorry ma'am, Me sunshine does know boundaries" She smile as she approach

“It’s more than fine, I hope the morning is going well for you.” Petting the cat, I run my fingers through it’s fur, it’s clearly been taken care of. I’m not normally a cat person but, this one’s kinda cute. “Is there anything I should know about today? Am I expected to stay here?”

The woman chuckle as the cat crawls on your lap purring a little liking the attention "Well unfortunately yes, you'll have to stay. Master said it's better for you to stay for awhile because of some problems" She murmured as she takes a small letter and goes to you with it sighing "The accident you've been in wasn't no mistakes"

Continuing to pet the tabby I take the letter and place it next to me. “I’ll have to read it later, I’m going to need to call my boss, I don’t think I can just take a leave of absence with my line of work.” I take my phone out and, begin to look through my contacts trying to find my bosses number.

Shakes head taking the letter and looks at you as Mr Sunshine jumps off bed having the zoomies "It's already been taken care of miss.. You see the Sanchez family well the eldest son hit you on purpose so he could kidnap you all to himself. Master already called your work and family and warn about your absence"

Well I guess he moves quick at the very least, no work is going to be hard though considering I hate to be left to think. I let out a sigh. “Well, I suppose that’s fine then, what do you need from me then?”

She smiles as the cat runs out the room meowing like a maniac "Master ask me to fetch you for breakfast downstairs"

Tossing the covers off I notice my old clothes are are gone, and start looking around for them. “I get that my things were covered in blood but my badge and firearm are with my uniform, would you mind telling me where they are right now?” I don’t particularly care about it but considering I would be charged if I loose my equipment I would rather not go through the hassle.

"Oh your old clothes and anything that came with you were send to Master youngest son Dorin for repair" She murmured as she goes to the closest opening it up "What would you like to wear miss? A dress maybe? " (edited)

I’m definitely not a dress girl, but I don’t know if it would be considered rude. “If that’s what you’d recommend then yes I can wear a dress.” I move out of the bed and roll my shoulder, I’m still sore even if I’m healed and probably will be till tomorrow.

She claps her hands as she grabs a beautiful red velvet dress and goes to you "Hope it's to your licking the time has changed with the human fashion these days

A bit on the upscale side it it’s not too bad I should still be able to move around just fine. “That should be more than fine, thank you very much I appreciate it. I’ll get changed and head down as soon as I can.”

She bows softly pointing to the closet she was still polite "In the closet you'll find shoes if you need them my dear" She bows again and leaves

(Gotta head out for today but, I have an underway out to sea from Monday to Wensday. When I get back I should be able to pick up. Sorry for the horrible schedule)
