Hiding away in the shadows was no shock to the race of mythical beings, but transporting them from place to place without been seen by humans was another. . .
Not only did it risk the bearer but the beings they concealed along with them.
Of course high risk came high reward, in a small town there was no other way to make a living unless it was something that would put ones self in danger.
The town was small but not small enough to make ones presence stand out, making it somewhat easy for transportation.
In the dead of night was the easiest window for this as humans needed their rest at this time. Of course the issues of bounty's or a hired hand would arise but nonetheless , the assignment was always completed without fail.
Of course there was other dangers to the missions, as not everything goes right the first time.
Celeste was no amateur at transporting such beings as herself, she had done it for years without getting caught. Of course there was suspicions raised now and then but it had always blown over eventually with time.
She'd never made a mistake, she knew the towns tunnels. paths, passageways like the back of her hand, inside and out. Humans being the only issue that stood in her way, some would wander, get lost or even some liking to explore the abandoned parts of town. . . it infuriated her but she had her ways of dealing with it .
Walking the town grounds in broad daylight she wore mostly long, baggy clothing that hid most of her. Light fog filled the air as it was rather cool this day. She had gone out to the stands to fill the basket that rested on her hip. As she passed by the booths she stopped at a specific one, a friend of hers. . .
With a smile she had walked up, waving at the man who was tending the stand. He was one of the many beings she transferred, he was too was able to hide amongst the humans and thrive in the town such as she was. He handed her a pouch of produce, along with a small note attached to it.
3:15 AM
another mission this made her smile grow, nodding at him before taking the pouch and moving on. She continued making the rest of her rounds, only doing this to blend in with the humans as much as she could, maybe being a familiar face could save her in the future.
Seeing the note filled her with excitement, she had stepped away from the crowds of people to read it, not wanting to waste any time to prepare. As her eyes scanned the letter her eyes widened TODAY the letter read in large writing at the bottom. She'd never taken a mission like this, it was too risky. Theres no way she would be able to prepare in time for the transfer. Althought it wasn't impossible she would rather not take her odds on it.
The bold letters upset her as she did not want something so challenging but the reward felt too tempting to resist. She huffed loudly and admitted defeat. She'd accepted the mission.
========================================================================
She had waited for nightfall to come by, she had headed slightly at the outskirts of town waiting for her transfers. She stayed silent, listening to the atmosphere around her. Crickets chirping, the rustling of the breeze making its way through the leaf's of the trees. Any step could startle her or relieve her.
Hearing the slightest sound made her head turn, a crumbling sound of steps on the ground. Making her head turn faster than the blink of an eye, her hand on the tiny blade she hid on her hip.
Seeing the faces of hooded children relived her, it would scare most people but for her it was her reward. the faces of her kind It made her smile warmly, vampires seeking escape pass the city lines.
3:15 AM
She nodded at the children, gesturing them to move along. She wanted to make this quick, so she took a gamble. A system below the town, around 4 children along with a guardian followed her. The sound of dripping water and stepping in small puddles echoed throughout the cold hollow tunnels as they carefully pathed forward.
Nearing the exit anxiety filled her, worried they might get caught. She hid her emotions as to not scare the children. "almost there..." she purred to them, reassuring them of there safety.
Meeting the exit she sighed but knew her job was not over.
"there's a river down at the base of this hill, pass it and you'll be officially out of city borders. There's not much I can do from here...." she told the guardian softly before she watched them leave.
She let out a deep sigh before making her way back into the city..
As she rustled through the leaves and bushes she heard another set of footsteps, making her turn around quickly. nothing.... she saw as it was just more shrubs and leafs.
It must of been an animal or something she told herself before continuing on.
Hearing the crunch of a leaf she swiftly pulled the blade from her hip, charging at whatever could of been behind her. Her eyes widening
A Human.
Her blade barley nicked the mans neck, causing him to cry in pain.
3:16 AM
She cursed and had no chance but to flee, even if someone did see her it was better to let them live then to kill them and have the town become suspicious of a murder.
She fled, hoping he'd be too shocked to report something such as that. Who'd believe it anyway?
She waited until morning to head home and back into town, hoping that like all other hicupps it would fly under the radar.
===
As morning passed Celeste hid away in her home for hours, anxiously waiting for the day to pass. Worried the man had reported it, she peeked out every couple hours.
She was relieved to see no updates until a mini crowd had formed in the distance. She knew it was trouble but she put on her baggy, hooded clothing and went out to see what the crowd was for.
As she got closer to the clump of people she barley managed to see the figure they were surrounding, another weak hired hand she thought before she had seen the same man she saw in the forest speaking to him. She felt her heart drop, of course it was about her..who else could it be!?.
The vampire scolded herself. too careless!
She sighed and listened in to the crowd, trying to make out any type of words anyone was saying.
How much worse could this get for her?
Rumors. Rumors and gossip spread fast. Faster than she would’ve ever expected. He had heard, although he was not part of that group of weaker hired hands. He lurked off to the side, at the moment he sat alone at a table under a balcony that came out of a nearby building. He had a map before him, marking something upon it. He was listening in to what the crowd was saying, curious of course. He was not from this city at all. He was from the nearest civilization. A small village. He was directly affected as people at his village had been going missing in mass numbers as the fleeing vampires of course would hit their scattered unguarded village for food. But he had changed that, a small group of armed men now guarded that village in his absence. He was summoned here by orders of the leader of the city. He was to exterminate the source of the missing people in the city and outside. He was well reknown for being a ruthless killer of beasts and monsters alike. Recently having killed 13 escapees in the dark of the night who dared to cross the village…. All by himself. Anyways, as he sat by himself, a sweet sickly smell filled the air, almost luring her towards him. Although he wasn’t in control of it at all. His black hair fell into his face slightly. He had reports and rumors marked on the map of this… vampire. One who seemed to be bringing all these problems to light. He was looking for a pattern… a route she seemed to be taking.@Purr ♡beloved♡(edited)
Seeing not much going on with the crowd she went to the small stall she had went to the very morning before, meeting her friend there. "w-what happened..do you know?" she asked him gesturing to the crowd., trying to get some information out of him as she knew obviously what had happened.
He sighed and looked down at her "This guy keeps talking about a 'monster' in the woods...it attacked him almost at daybreak..the towns people have nothing better to do but start panicking." He told her.
Looking up at him she knew it was her fault, but so did he. "The people you've been taking outside the city..." he said in a quiet, husk tone. She knew with those words what he was going to say. "They haven't reported back...there not making it past the city over..."
A small gasp escaped her mouth, was it her fault? she thought. No Way!?.
"w-what...what are you saying..? I-I just led a group of kids!-" she quietly hissed at him before stopping to calm herself, there was no need to make a scene.
"You tell me this after!?" she hissed in the same low register.
"News came in this morning....Im Sorry..." He apologized.
She huffed, giving him a glare. It wasn't his fault but she couldn't blame herself. It was out of her control what happened after they left the city. She took a deep breath to calm herself before walking away to her small home. She needed to write a letter, she needed more information about what was happening to these missing people.
@Crosby
Well he had just so happened to look up when the two met up. They were… quite suspicious. Obviously involved in this somehow. He quietly put the map away and observed, leaning an arm over his chair. He could care less about the group of men. Also, he had not gone after the children. He did have a moral code, unless they chose to directly attack someone at the village. Then, yes he did. Anyways, he stood up after a few moments and brushed off. He fixed his hair up. He was quite a tall lad at 2 meters. His forest green eyes scanned everyone around and then the main two suspects. He looked each of them up and down quietly. He walked over to the man at the stall. He’d leave her alone for now. He needed information first and with this crowd here, he’d have witnesses. What he wanted. Well, well, well. May I ask how you two are involved in this? Or should I just… expose you…? He kept a hand on his blade’s handle. A radiant energy emitted from it. A death sentence to any undead who dared to defy him. we can either do this the easy way or the hard way. Take your pick. He wore a rather fancy breastplate, one of a knight from the nearby village. Recognizable as the same place the ones they helped escaped perished.@Purr ♡beloved♡
She opened the door and immediately began to write, she needed to know what was happening. Who was preying on these people, and why anyway. She grabbed a worn out piece of paper and began writing on it, She wasted no time writing as much as she could on the paper, it angered her knowing lives that were lost but for now all she could do was write until she ran out of room.
As for the man at the stall he was confused for a brief moment, his head tilted slightly at the mans words. His eyebrow raised. As he scanned the man he saw all red signs, the symbol, the blade. Something he'd seen before. "Perhaps you're unaware of who you speak to..." he spoke, unbothered by the mans demeanor. "I suggest you leave...it's peaceful here....wouldn't want to disturb that, would we?" He spoke, as human as he looked he could not let this man reveal himself to the people nearby. It would only be a hassle, Living here for so long he knew this day would come. an uptight, ignorant knight threatening him. His escape was planned out, it'd make a scene as people would see his true form but at least he would live long enough to leave town. It was selfish to expose that his kind roamed among humans but he knew what to do to save his own skin. @Crosby
It may be peaceful here for now. But your kind is spreading like the plague with no end in sight monster. He had a plan too, make sure none survived of the filth that plagued this land. The evil that clenched it within its grasp and choked it. His eyes grew cold, staring at the man before him. Now, tell me. Where is your kind stemming from? Or should I just rid you first and find out from your accomplice?
@Purr ♡beloved♡
The creature chuckled, a mere human was threatening him. Although he knew the dangerous of one with such tools like a blade and armor that did not make him fear the man. "Something as silly as death does not frighten me human, there will always be your kind after me.. If i fled every time one of you threatened me i'd never settle down..."
It angered the being to see how humans saw them, he clenched his fists trying to restrain himself from attacking the man. Doing that would only make things worse, as well as being supplied with such weapons he'd have a severe disadvantage.
"You know very well that i'm not going to give you that information, even if you do plan to kill me your earthly body is not nearly strong enough. The weapons you carry may be, but you are not. Pursuing me is not wise, if fleeing is my only option i will do so, not that you could keep up with me. . . "he warned the knight, fearing the blade was the only problem he had. Outrunning a human was not.
As the spoke celeste finished writing, the side of her palm smudged with ink as she rushed the letter. rolled it up, found a peice of string and tied it together. Finished with the letter she hurried back outside, stopping at the end of her steps as she saw the two men speaking. She knew a knights uniform when she saw one, but that did not scare her. She could take down any mere night herself, she worried about being found out. With the humans crowding aside them there existance could get ratted out.
@Crosby
So be it. I recommend you leave before… more trouble comes to you. He spun and began to head after his accomplice; Celeste. Perfect timing, he started to walk towards her as he spotted her on the steps. A much bigger crowd had gathered by now, people were waiting to see if a monster really was among them. Fear and panic being wildly and uncontrollably bred between them. He walked right up to Celeste, maybe a few feet between them at most. His arms crossed as he looked into her eyes. He stood tall and was incredibly handsome up close. Not no ordinary knight by any means. Especially with the insignia he carried upon his shoulder. He was one who was known to destroy evil. Evil like her… anyways as he stood so close to her, an alluring sweet scent would attack her nose from him, begging her to act out and do something stupid. To some, it would be enough to activate primal instincts, for others, it just… made them want to do other things. Seems you’re the only other option. He looked her up and down. Offering her his hand. Crosby Vandine, Captain of the Purple Dragon Knights. Now, what role do you play in these recent attacks, hm?
@Purr ♡beloved♡
Seeing the men finish talking her eyes widened as he began to walk towards her. If she walked away she'd look guilty but if she stayed she would have to talk to him. As he walked up she couldn't make up her mind. It was too late as he was already Infront of her. She was uneducated of someone like him, his symbol, but the blade he carried she was familiar with. She had a collection of them from humans who crossed her path.
His sweet scent did almost nothing to her, it tempted her at the slightest. Living amongst humans had trained her to not attack at the slightest hint of human blood. Yes it weakened her not having feasted in so long but she substituted the blood which kept her alive. She felt a different kind of hunger, not wanting to devour him but a hunger that made a shiver run down her spine.
Hearing him speak she did not expect such a forward question "I know nothing of these attacks, a man crying out early in the morning about being attacked is frightening but nonetheless i have no clue about what happened to him....." she spoke softly to him, any slip up and she would be done for, she knew to pick her words carefully.

His blade was like the others yes, but in a way it was special. She wouldn’t quite know that yet. Nor would she probably live long enough to find out if he had drawn it. And it wasn’t exactly just a sweet scent like blood like most humans. No, no, no. It was different. It wasn’t meant to draw her to bite him, it would more than likely do other things. Things that would be frowned upon considering they were enemies. He put his hand out seeing the ink upon her hand. then what’s with the letter all the sudden? Trying to relay information to your closest ally’s of what’s happened? He raised a brow slightly. It’s best to be honest with me. I may seem like a monster to you like you are a monster to me. But I can grow to change my ways perhaps if we can negotiate something.
Feeling the wet ink on her hand she held it in front of her, not afraid of what he would assume of her. He knew so much at this point she felt like lying was a waste of both their time but she couldn't let herself be exposed in front of all these humans. "You assume a lot for speaking to somewhat you just met..." she spoke softly to him.
"Monster?" she chuckled at him. "I see you let the rumors get to you're head. . . i understand that is your job , but harassing the towns people? accusing them of being 'monsters'?" She laughed. Hoping he was another mindless knight who would eventually stop pestering her. "You knights are rather cute, I wish there were more of you..." She smiled at him, knowing full well she had a collection of blades from fallen knights somewhat like him. She had hoped to charm him into leaving her alone
@Crosby
He wasn’t exactly mindless. He knew certain things had to be done. He opened the document and began to inspect it. I didn’t say you were exactly truly a monster. We might’ve… just had a misunderstanding is all. I’m just trying to do my job and get to the bottom of it. Even if we have to do…. Some… different negotiations. Although calling me a cute knight and saying that doesn’t really help your case. He glared to her as she smile at him. And there was a way to charm her perhaps, it just was frowned upon doing in public. And getting him to agree to such a private time would be difficult unless he proved at least somewhat trust worthy.@Purr ♡beloved♡(edited)
She knew he was going to be tough to charm, she hadn't met a knight so resistant to her. "Negotiations hmm?" she purred to the man, the vampire wasn't new to the classic trick of getting her into bed. Although she did enjoy the attempt she would lure the knights into her home before she disposed of them. She knew she would not be able to do the same with this one. She took a step closer to him, smiling somewhat devilishly. "And what negotiations do you have in mind...?~"

Resistance. Thats what he was known for. Resisting letting the vampires take over his home. Resisting the temptations of the one before him. He wouldn’t bend or buckle for her. She’d have to do a lot more leg work if she wanted him to do some hip work for her. Whether that be in negotiations or not. And who said the intention was to get her in bed? He wasn’t exactly stupid. Putting himself in such a vulnerable position with a vampire was absolutely stupid. He looked down to her, reaching his hand up as a neck guard formed from his shirt. No biting him. It seemed to be made of a strange metal. But that was besides the point. He looked into her eyes unbothered by her flirting tone. Meet me at the tavern tonight two hours past dark. If you don’t show, I assume you’ll have fled. And I can promise you what happens if you do…. Won’t be Pretty. And I’d rather not cross that line.
@Purr ♡beloved♡
She watched as he revealed his neck that had been protected. She had no interest in biting him as it was pointless as she felt his blood would be rather unsatisfying. He would only continue to pester her, there had to be a way to get rid of him. "How do i know you'll be alone?" she questioned him, she had no idea what his plans were and if she could trust him at this point. "I will not meet with you anywhere...I cannot trust you.." she told him. "Maybe there is something you could do...to help me trust you" she spoke in the same smooth, purring tone. She was aware her charm did not effect him but maybe it would get him to budge for her or loose interest.

Of course it would be unsatisfactory to her. And get rid of him? For it was far too late for that. She just gave him all the reason not to let her roam free. Because I have no reason to risk my men and lives just to deal with you at a tavern meeting. And what exactly do you want me to do so you “trust” me? He crossed his arms as he stared at her. No fear or anything in his eyes. Just an unbudging confidence and coldness.
His reasoning wasn't the least convincing to her but getting rid of him was not an option, he was peskier than she thought. She looked up at him as his size did not threaten her, she smirked as she thought his actions were rather adorable than alarming to her. "fine....ill meet you there...." she smiled at him. she stepped a little closer to him her hand reaching out to him, the tip of her finger gently tracing a line down his armor as their eyes connected. "hm....anything of importance....of value?" she said, her eyes moving down to his blade. She knew he would not give up his blade but it was worth trying before she'd leave the knight alone until they'd meet again later.
@Crosby
Of course he wasn’t going anywhere. Why would he? There was nowhere for her to go. If she fought, it wouldn’t end well. When she even tried to lay a finger on him, he pushed her hand away. He’d seen a thing or two happen from being even touched by a hostile vampire. And he wasn’t about to have it happen to him. Or course he wasn’t going to give her a piece of who he was. That was just absolutely stupid to expect. He instead reached into his satchel upon his belt and pulled out a single coin. One he shouldn’t have had… a coin from the nearest vampire kingdom. He offered it to her. how about this? It had blood stained upon it. Rather fresh looking. It wreaked like him and humans.@Purr ♡beloved♡
She was surprised as his hand pushed hers away, it also enticed her as she liked the thrill of the chase. He'd be a hard one but she knew eventually she'd crack him. She watched him reach into his satchel, as he presented to her a coin. Her eyes widened, she hadn't seen a coin like that in ages. It brought back memories from her childhood as she saw the hard engraved metal, but seeing it in the hands of someone like him made her blood boil, Along with the retched smell and blood stain she had the urge to kill him right there. Her eyes swiftly glistening a deep red , nothing that the bare human eye could see. She remembered the suffering her kingdom went through, her family ,the screams, the burning flames,the blood. . .
She suppressed her urges, calming herself even as the painful memories flooded her mind, questioning him would only intensify her desire to kill him. She decided to let him live, it being more satisfying to kill him later. "i'll be there.." she hissed at him, snatching the coin away from him before she had began to walk away from him.
@Crosby
He was of course going to be a hard to bend at the knee. It’d take some serious leg work from her. If she was smart enough of the kingdom she currently resided in, she’d recognize the necklace he had on. It signified he was a captain in the army here. He rather casually watched her eyes widened at the sight. He knew how much these things meant to some vampires. That’s why he presented it to her. Albeit, it was tainted. He let her take the coin. Seeing her reaction just confirmed the obvious that she was one of them. He rotated his shoulders where he stood. Don’t be late. I’ll be waiting. He watched as she soon walked away. What she didn’t realize now though, that they had more in common then she’d ever like to admit. Suffering was all he knew. He soon turned and headed into the darkness of a nearby alleyway, a cut through to the destination he was heading. He headed for the barracks for now. The tavern being quite close to it…. Dangerously so for her at least.@Purr ♡beloved♡(edited)
As uneducated as she was she had played out all the scenarios that could happen as she waited, how she'd escape if she needed to. She knew the city layout like the back of her hand, leaving would be easy but she knew he would probably try and keep up with her.
The time came as the sun fell, she prepared herself to meet with him. She trusted her abilities but kept a blade at her hip, nothing wrong with being safe when dealing with his type of people. She wore a heavily fragranced perfume, something rather sweet. if she'd get lucky enough maybe it even entice him even though he proved to be the resilient type. She left a bit early as it wasn't far, making her way she'd enter the tavern through the back entrance. Silently creeping her way in, not making a sound. Maybe she'd gotten there before him, giving her a better chance of intimidating him.
@Crosby
He also knew the city quite well. So she’d have to play her cards right if she did try to escape. But that was a choice to be made by her if she did or not. The tavern was not too busy. There was only a couple people and the bartender. And then… him. He was of course there before her. He was in one of the middle tables. His back to her since she came in the back entrance. He fiddled with a coin in his hand. He was perfectly exposed to her for an ambush. But it wouldn’t be wise with how many witnesses there was. And no telling if this was a trap or not already. Anyways, now, he didn’t have his armor on oddly enough. No neck guard either. He was dressed rather casually, quite handsomely actually. He didn’t look like the mega ass hole he was earlier. More like a noble if anything. A candle lit in the center of the table. A glass of wine on it and two wine glasses. He looked towards the front door. Was she late…?@Purr ♡beloved♡
She scanned the tavern, looking for him amongst all the other patrons as her sweet aroma filled the room. She didn't expect him to cleanup so well...especially for...her?
It would be a rather easy kill as he was exposed without his armor but there was too many witnesses for her. It was tempting to leave him but it would be a pain to be chased out of the city. She sighed and walked towards the table, her hand gently grazing his shoulder trailing it before she had took a seat in front of him. It made her slightly uncomfortable being around all these people but she'd do anything to get him to leave her alone.
@Crosby
He did indeed clean up extraordinary well for her. Concerningly so. Maybe he was planning something or he was just confident in himself. Hard to tell. His head instantly turning to face her once she grazed his shoulder. He quietly observed before she took a seat. He didn’t question where she came from. He smelled even better with no armor or anything on. Just exposed flesh beneath his clothes. Well… she actually shows. Here I was thinking I’d have to find wherever you ran off to. He poured some wine from the bottle in the center of the table. Some for himself and some for her. He placed the bottle back and took a sip after swirling it in his hand. So… would rather get to business first? He took a sip. or delay the inevitable…?
@Purr ♡beloved♡
She noticed almost everything about him had changed, his smell, his look, but she knew not to trust him yet. His kind only had one motive and that was to slay hers. She was rather attracted to how well he changed himself for her, as it made her teeth ache as she was eager to sink her fangs into his flesh.
hearing his words made her chuckle. "I know you're eager to lay your hands on me, knight. . ." she spoke quietly to him. "I know it is your duty to terminate my kind. . .Bringing me here to discuss something so absurd..." Her teeth clicking as she raised her hand to the glass, her head wagging. "I figure it will upset you to tell you i cannot let you do such a thing..."
"So what will you do if i do tell you i will not let you..?"@Crosby
And he thought likewise of hers. They were only here to kill and slay his. Drain them of blood and convert them into monsters to make others suffer. He took a long sip of his drink and leaned back as she chuckled. Rather unbothered. And who said he was trying to lay his hands upon her? He stayed rather attentive oddly enough, clearly actually listening to what she said unlike earlier. Mhm… He paused to think for a few moments. Well, we don’t exactly have to exterminate each other. Things just have to be… altered is all. That’s my job after all upon the kings orders. He reached into his shirt and pulled out a scroll. He slid it across the table to her. I’m supposed to meet with whoever leads the vampires around her personally. And I was assuming you could point me in the correct direction… well… unless you’re the one I’m looking for. Then I can always just… start some negotiations~.
@Purr ♡beloved♡
She did not see things the way he did for he had a whole different perspective then he did. It was hard for her to understand something even as simple as that. All she felt was hatred and anger towards him.
Opening the scroll and reading the ink it made a lot more sense of why he did not kill her when they first met, there was more he wanted and he could only get it through her as she was the one the king was looking for. She scoffed at him "what makes you think i'd tell you even if i knew?" she said to him, lying through her teeth. She knew it was her he was looking for, but she wasn't going to expose herself to him. She put her glass down "Did you really think I would tell you?" she laughed at him, closing the scroll and giving it back to him
@Crosby
Even though they didn’t see eye to eye. He knew better than to be one sided. He knew both sides needed to agree on something and figure something out or endless bloodshed would ensue. They didn’t have the power to wipe out vampires entirely and the vampires definitely didn’t have the numbers to do the same to them. He quietly took the scroll back and put it away. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a strange vial. She absolutely constantly recognize it. Blood. Fresh. Very fresh. It wreaked like his own. An addicting sweet scent emanating from it. I didn’t. That’s why I came prepared to barter a couple things. But it already seems I’ve… found the leader based on your reaction. He sipped his wine with his free hand. He held the vial just out of reach with his other. He placed the glass back down on the table before continuing. now, will this be enough for you? If not, just name your price and I’ll see what I can do. He seemed much more relaxed and willing to work with her now. His whole handsome self before her as he sat back, putting one arm around the back of the chair. More than enough room sit upon his lap or anything.@Purr ♡beloved♡
As he revealed the vial she recognized the sweet scent anywhere, blood. and human blood at that. She could feel herself practically foam at the mouth but kept herself collected even though she'd do just about anything for that vial. Seeing him so composed as he knew what he was playing at made her only more eager for the blood. But again the thought of all her sacrifices down the drain for such a thing?
She couldn't do that to herself, to her own kind. She recomposed herself, even though she hungered for that bottle it was not worth the consequences. "You must've had me fooled thinking I would do that for such a tiny little thing..." She grinned at him as if she didn't have first thoughts of taking it from him. "Im sorry hun...there
He was calm and collected. This wasn’t his first time dealing with a vampire. But that was story for another time. It was a secret he’d die by. He placed the vial in the middle of the table between them. He didn’t care if it was very obvious what it was and with prying public eyes on them. He took a sip of the wine before he swirled it, his eyes shifting to it as he was trying to think of what else he could possibly barter. The knight didn’t look afraid of her rejection or phased by it all too much. nothing at all? He paused and put the glass down, sitting back in his chair. He tried his best to work his charm on the undead. Not even a personal night with me? What a shame. The king said I could get this done by… any means necessary. And cutting off one head to let a new one grow is not exactly what I’d like to do here. So I’ll stick to more peaceful means for now…
@Purr ♡beloved♡
Her eyes flickered briefly at his words, and though her expression remained poised, there was a moment—a flicker of something unspoken—that passed across her face. She eyed the knight, assessing him in a different light for a heartbeat before her lips curled into a slow, calculating smile. She leaned forward slightly, resting her fingertips on the edge of the table, as if teasing the line between intrigue and danger. “A personal night with you…” She repeated his words softly, almost as if tasting them.
Her eyes never left his as she let the silence stretch, savoring the tension between them.
“You certainly know how to spark curiosity in your enemies. And perhaps, in another life, I might have found your offer... intriguing.”
Her voice dipped lower, hinting at the allure, though she was careful not to let it dominate her expression. She sat back again, exhaling slowly, her gaze lingering on him longer than before, but still guarded. She let the thought linger before sighing, longing the touch of another. "I apologize..but mind showing me glimpse of this...night?" she spoke softly, a tint of red at her cheeks.
@Crosby
He course just sat back and observed. He played it just as calm and collected as her. Seems he however didn’t have that noticeable burning desire she seemed to. It was impossible to tell if he was just hiding it or not. His eyes looking to her fingers then back up to her eyes. The tension in the air was definitely palpable by now and she felt it. Although whether it was good or bad was completely up to debate. He near almost cursed under her breath at her seemingly rejecting his offer. But it seems she wasn’t. How intriguing… although… he did wonder if he could keep up with the vampires demands if they ddi go that far. Surely he could as long as she didn’t drain him. He let her eyes wander and linger, he had time to spend. As long as he knew he was with the right person and working towards fixing things. He smirked a little at that and stood up. He took a brief glance around. The only person here was the bartender. well… there’s plenty of things I could show you… but I’ll keep it simple for your sake. He chuckled, he gently lifted her chin up with two fingers, letting their eyes meet and the tension build for a moment before he leaned in for a quite intense kiss. If she so allowed, he’d show her real passion and let his lips dance entangled with hers; while he gently grabbed one of her hands and slipped it under his shirt. She could feel every inch of the knights body if she so pleased. He was well built to say the least. Not a body builder by any means but still quite impressive.@Purr ♡beloved♡
