Never sat idly on the bench outside of the Adventurers Guild, the black hiking boot covered foot of her crossed leg bouncing softly as her silvery white gaze flicked over each person that walked in front of her. Her head dipped to a few, while others got a small smirk as their cheeks warmed and their pace heading into the guild quickened. "Awww..." Those were past adventurers that had worked for her before and who were embarrassed by that fact. "Come'on... You liked it at the time." She'd mumble under her breath before sighing. Taking a deep breath, she stretched her leopard spotted arms high above her head to get the blood flowing through her again, her back popping in a few spots before letting them drop back to her lap. Snatching up her phone, she'd key in the code to unlock the screen and pulled up the profile of the adventurer she was waiting on today. "Henry..." She'd murmur under her breath, thumb scrolling to his picture for the umpteenth time that morning, wanting to lock his face into her mind so she didn't miss him on his way into the guild.
Usually she had to wait until her contracts were nearly expired and she'd raised the payout price before someone accepted, but she'd gotten a response relatively quickly this time and she was eager to set out and gather what she needed before he changed his mind. She knew that people talked about her, she could hear some of it as she walked down the streets on her deliveries. "Hey, its her... Think she's out 'collecting' today?" "Hahaha, I heard Hank helped her a couple weeks ago, haven't seen him since!" "Oooh~ Do ya think she has him locked up in her basement so she can permanently collect from him?" "I wouldn't mind doing some of my own collecting from her~" "Fuuuck, have you seen it when she starts leaking? Talk about the perfect cow!" Most of it she could ignore, but others left her cheeks burning red and parts of her body reacting that forced her to find somewhere to hide until she calmed down. Today was quiet though, any chatter about her was in hushed tones out of her hearing range, so it was nice.
Setting her phone down on the bench beside her, the screen lingering on Henry's photo, she'd slide her bag onto her lap and start double checking the supplies inside, most of which were empty glass containers with lids.
