ROLEPLAY HQ - neighborly-love

Today finally marked three weeks since students got out of school for summer break. Honestly, Bianca couldn’t have been awaiting this moment any less than her students did. Sure, she loved teaching— it was what she aspired to do ever since a pre-teen. But teenagers were draining, and that was something she realized not even a year into her time as an English teacher. It was the 15th of June, a rather calm Sunday afternoon. The weather outside was surely something. Hot as hell, and to make matters worse it was humid. Arkansas heat was nothing to play with at all. Bianca had just pulled into the parking lot of her apartment complex, returning home from yet another day at work. Being she usually had nothing more to do during the summer besides reading romance-drama novels and tending to her plants, she gave in and decided to teach summer school students. Fortunately, summer school was only a month, and unlike regular school hours— students only stayed 4 hours each week day, and they had Friday’s off. Removing her car key out of the ignition, she exited her vehicle and moved around and walked to the back so she could grab her forcing out if the truck. Being as hot as it was, her outfit today was an olive green dress that was knee high and accentuated her curves. Her hair was in a neat bun. @Ghoobert

Coincidentally... A young man who finally finished up Highschool, now living the life on summer vacation had just got back home from jogging around the block!, Wearing nothing but sweatpants and a black t-shirt, just a few drops of sweat running down his face. Being one to like entering discreetly as to not bother anyone, he entered through parking lot and made his way to the staircase into the building... But on his way, he managed to get a glance at someone checking the back of their vehicle, a bit curious he would lean back and find himself staring at one hell of a gorgeous woman!, She didn't even look at him, but he was already turning red! Obviously, she looked old enough to be his mother, and it clicked in his head that he should help her. Rushing over there in an orderly manner, he made it to the back of her car before she left so he'd offer his help. "Sorry for the disturbance, ma'am!, Let me help you!" He offered, a light blush on his nose as his reddish pupils flashed through his curvy hair that covered the upper part of his face, sticking his hands out to receive the grocery bags she would give him if she accepted his offer.

Bianca was in her own world, hardly even realizing the man approaching her, which of course gave her a fright. "You almost gave me a heart attack." She commented before giving the young man a once over. He looked familiar, almost as though he resembled someone she knew personally. "Well, since you're here. . Might as well." There were only a few bags, nothing that she couldn't handle. Handing several of the grocery bags to him, she grabbed the rest out of the trunk and brought it to a close, making sure to lock her doors before heading up the stairwell to her apartment. "Thank you for the help. It wasn't trouble at all for me to do it myself." She commented as she fished for her apartment keys out of her purse. "I've never seen you around here, did you just move in?" Bianca questioned once she finally found her heys, quickly unlocking her apartment door. @Ghoobert

Following behind her quite... Attentively, he handled the bags quite well, carrying them with ease and carefulness, he finally got to the door and so he waited for her to open the door, almost not hearing her question due to his mind behind busy with something else. "Hm?... Oh!, I'm just visiting my dad for the summer, I'm on vacation so..." He froze for a moment, looking around him before realizing. "Oh... Hey, I live here!, Well, my dad lives here... You know him?" He asked, looking at her as he tilted his head ever so slightly.

Bianca nodded. "Oh, I see. You do look quite young." She managed to say with a chuckle. "Kids these days are much different than I remember when I started working." Sometimes you could hardly tell if they were an adult or teenager. She thought for a moment. "What's your dads name? I might know him." Entering the apartment, she lead him to the kitchen and placed the bags on the kitchen counter, @Ghoobert

He turned a bit red, taking her calling him young as a compliment before he locked in and entered her apartment, immediately he looked around him by eye as he made his way to the kitchen. "Oh!... My father's Tokenshi, he's been living here for a while..." He said, placing the bags onto the kitchen counter as he stood in front of her, taking a moment to just look at her.

“Oh! Kenshi… Yes, we’re good friends. That dad of yours is one handsome man.” She chuckled softly. “So, how old are you then? He hasn’t talked much about you to me.” But it wasn’t like she or Tokenshi spoke 24/7 about what goes on in their lives. “Did you graduate? Are you going to college?” @Ghoobert

"That's him, yeah...-" He scratched the back of his head, looking off to the side before he turned to it and crossed his arms. "

I'm...  a little in-between places, I've applied to a few colleges, I don't expect to be anywhere close though... I still hope, but that's it-

" He explained, throwing his arms up in the air afterwards.

“I see. Well, if you did end up going to college, what career path would you be taking?” Attending college was one thing, but even most don’t know what it is they want to make a career out of. She began putting away her groceries, starting with the frozen foods and then moved on to the refrigerator ones. @Ghoobert

Uh... Probably Botany... I really like plants and, plant life, I think it's pretty cool how a seedling comes to be a plant...

" He said, scratching his chin as she asked him, he didn't seem excited enough, maybe it was the life-change that got him shaken up?, Either way, he seemed to zone out every few moments, as if listening to the last words of her sentence and just guessing. "What about you?, My dad didn't mention you... What's your life like, Ms...?"

“Oh, really? That’s quite nice. I enjoy plants myself, I have quite a few of them around my home.” Bianca said. “When I move into a bigger space, I plan to grow my own garden.” But she knew it would be a while before she did any moving. She shrugged. “Well, i’m a teacher. I teach high-school students. I’ve been teaching for well over 6 years now, not quite sure how long it has been exactly.” “But I wouldn’t want to keep you occupied for too long.” @Ghoobert

"Well, what do you know... I could help you out if you'd like, I know a bit about the topic..." He said with a clear smile, he clasped his hands together as he looked at her, hearing her telling him that she doesn't want to keep him busy, he put his hand up in the air and excused himself. "

O-Oh, right!, I gotta go and meet up with my dad, hope he wasn't waiting for me... It was nice to meet you, ma'am!, Hope to see you again soon?

" He said, leaving soon after as he walked down the corridor, holding his stomach as he felt butterflies, she was so pretty, He thought. Forgetting about that thought for a moment, he made it to his apartments door and went in.

“Oh, that’s fine. I know well enough, and besides it’ll be a long time before I even start on a garden.” She assured, tossing away the grocery store bags once she finished emptying them. “Sure thing, sweetie. It was nice meeting you too.” She shot him a soft smile before he exited her apartment. She locked the door behind him and saw to putting away what was left of her groceries, and afterwards she prepared for a shower. @Ghoobert

Some time later... After a few hours, Ravo was left home alone due to his father having to go to work just an hour before. Ravo had been sitting in the living room, just chilling and using the television without much to do, it was his personal time during whatever was left of the day, in this time he barely paid any attention to the TV, as the smile he received at the end of him leaving his neighbors apartment still stuck with him, barely napping peacefully when he got back... Man... She was really REALLY sweet!

A few days had passed since then. Bianca tended to her daily responsibilities like usual; Get up, make herself presentable, work, go home and repeat it all again. It wasn't like she hated it or anything, but it could be quite draining at times. After returning home from another day at work, she spent a little while at the dining room table and graded some of her students papers. Fortunately for her, this would be her last week teaching summer school students, which meant she had a month free of dealing with teenagers. @Ghoobert

At the same time, Ravo found himself rather... Bored, he had nothing to do and his dad was taking a mid-day nap... Checking in on his neighbor wouldn't be creepy, right? As he thought about it, he found himself already dressed up decently, a black t-shirt and white sweatpants, he put on his shoes and proceeded to rummage through the kitchen. Ah yes, the oldest trick in the book... He picked out a cup and headed out the door, making his way towards his neighbors doorstep. He froze momentarily at her door, hesitatingly knocking one knock at a time as he stared at the ground, already getting red but he shook his head and stood his ground!... He didn't get her name, this would be a good time! Ravo proceeded to knock on his neighbors door pridefully, awaiting an answer!

Bianca had just finished grading papers when she heard the sound of a knock coming from her front door. Stacking the graded papers neatly on the dining table, she got up to see who it was at the front door. Before answering, she looked through the peep-hole and realized it was the same young man from before. She unlocked the locks and opened the door. “Hello?” She wasn’t quite sure why’d he stop by, but she assumed he must have needed something. “I haven’t seen you around in a little while, is everything alright?” @Ghoobert

Yeah, everything's fine!, It's just that my old man's taking a nap and I didn't want to bother him... Do you happen to have any sugar?

" He said so in one full breath, remaining his composure in front of her as he had hoped she didn't think of it the way he did, showing her the ceramic mug he had in his hand for her to fill it up, wanting to not wait outside, he spoke up once again. "Do you mind if I come in?"

Bianca hesitated before nodding, allowing the young man in. “Yeah, i’ll go and fill this up then.” After being handed the mug she headed to the kitchen to fill it up with sugar. Today she was dressed down compared to the last time she had been seen bringing in groceries. She wore a graphic t-shirt and some shorts, the comfortable kind of course. “Here you go,” She handed it back to him after putting the lid back on the ceramic mug. @Ghoobert

He received the mug and smiled at her, awkwardly standing there for a moment before he decided to speak up. "... So!, Do you live by yourself?, I only ever see you go out..." He asked her with a question that's sure to keep her talking and prolong the conclusion of their light interaction.
