Lara sat back in the large, leather chair in her fathers office... or what was once her fathers office... with her feet up on the chair. In her lap she had open a large book that she was scouring through. Alongside the open page there were laminated pieces of very old parchment and she compared them to the images she was viewing. Following a knock on the door, Lara looked up as her butler, Winston came on through. He was dressed in his usual suit with white gloves, and within them a neatly folded letter.
"Madam? This letter just arrived for you."
Lara nodded and brought down her feet, lifting the heavy book from her lap and placing it on the desk top alongside the preserved pages. She tool the letter, unfolding it curiously and scanning through it while the butler stood waiting, expectantly. It took her 3 read throughs before she would stop, putting the letter down and rubbing her head. She was deep in thought a moment, glancing around the room. It was sudden, like a lightbulp suddenly alighting, that she leapt up from her chair and darted over to the book-case. Grabbing a few books off she rushed back to the desk, opening and flicking through them quickly. "Seven seas, seven seas, seven seas..." she whispered under her breath, dragging her nail down a page before she found what she wanted. She did this multiple times across the books, laying them out on the desk one at a time.
Stepping back, Lara looked over her handiwork. Each page from the seven books she had grabbed had a different treasure on it, from bejewelled golden skulls to large, rare gemstones. Within, she had applied sticking labels to sections with rumours of location and disappearance dates. Her hands came up to clasp infront of her lips as she looked them over one at a time... was the letter true? Had it been found? Could it be found...
"Winston, I'm going to need to charter a flight immediately to Panama. I trust you can arrange that for me? I'll be at the airfield in half an hour." she comme
