Eve instantly coiled around the other, looking at the serpent on the lionās end. She then looked at Black, as if she knew Basil was in there. She even looked a little worried. Inside, Basil was still biting at it, resisting the urge to throw up. Itās flesh was slimy, and he was going to pass out if he didnāt get air soon. Then, one bite did it. Suddenly, the serpent was convulsing, as if gagging. It caused the Behemoth to stop for a moment. Suddenly, it hurled Basil up, spitting him onto the ground with a thud. A gasp escaped him as he hit the ground. He hadnāt been able to breathe the whole time, and now he was laying on the ground, soaked in a slimy substance, gasping for air.
Eve immediately climbed off of Black, making her way to Basil. She was quick, leaving a trail in the dirt behind her. She was on him in seconds. āEve..?ā He asked as she coiled around him. āYouāre okay..ā he said, gently running his fingers over her back. Meanwhile the Behemoth had recovered. It had reset its sights on Black, running at him again. The crowd cheered it on. As Basil sat up and turned to yell at Black to move, the Behemoth had jumped on Black before he could react, pinning him with one paw before swinging the other. Within seconds it had taken off his head.
