It had been almost six months since the first senseless killing on the streets of the New Land's, but it wasn't the last. A reputation had been formed for a new "villain," one going by the calling card of Moonlight in the newspapers, but someone who I have yet to officially meet until tonight. I have been on their tail for months. The two of them would catch eyes several times as the villain was able to escape. But, not tonight, the bait is too good for them. Little old lady, driving a nice car, lots of money to be had and visible. They will certainly thrash on it tonight. There has been rumors that this new villain was a woman, but the hero could never believe it. Someone so vicious, so merciless... They could not be a woman, the hero would think... The hero, someone the press had referred too as the Mystic, would be sitting on the edge of a rooftop watching over the area where he had figured she would hit. All signs indicated too it. She had to hit here and she would hit big, he thought to himself, that is when I would take her

Each bag the little lady loaded into her car added to the hours wasted away on her idea of Moonlights' arrival. Their crimes ignited a bold new wave throughout the criminal world. A beacon to evil. Petty crimes were transforming into haunting acts to stain one's hands in blood and regret. Still barely scraping the level Moonlight operated on. Her death toll boldly challenged the highest record in its bi-monthly time span already. Fifty-two in the span of six months. It took little time to attract the attention of Mystic. Somebody whose moral compass far out-weighed Moonlight's own. The bait of the little old lady should be the perfect setup to finally capture the mysterious monster. Only, it all relied on whether the villain would take it. Instead of the lady, it was the lone man on the rooftop to be her target. Her self-deemed 'innocents' included the elderly just trying to take home the ingredients for soup. Whilst Mystic burnt his eyes onto the trap below, Moonlight crept up behind. The faintest click of her gun giving away her position. "Shit." @Deleted User

As the gun barrel would click, the sound of a word escaping her lips, Mystic knew, he knew that he had her in the moment. The trap was set, but not in the way that she had thought he was planning. Going after elderly, the one small thing that everyone overlooked in the criminal reports. She never, never hurt the young or elderly, going as far to leave witnesses of those ages when they could have easily been part of the game... Mystic would turn on a dime, almost disappearing into the shadows as he would bum rush Moonlight, taking her off her fight and to the ground with a thud.

Her teeth grit when her back hit the pebbled rooftop. White tresses orbit her pale face screwed in surprise and disdain. The momentary shock wore off into a small chuckle. "You've definitely surprised me. Playing with your daydreams about us and thought about this moment a little too hard." The woman let out a tedious laced sigh. Her fair brow arched, stifling her amusement. That pair of icy blues wander up his form. Meticulously slow in its rise over his frame. "Definitely less blonde than I imagined." She whispered to him. A smirk breaking over her features.

Mystic would not say much, he would just look down at her. Yep, it was definitely a her, he could tell now. "Why did you do it?" he would say, his voice a bit distorted, obviously hidden behind the guard of a voice changer in the suit, "Why all of those innocents?"
