Irena blushed slightly at the mention of his jacket. "You really don't have to. Y'know, there will probably be girls fawning over you soon. They're gonna think something of this." She teased and glanced up at him.
The blonde chuckled at the mention of being an intern for the team. "While it would be amazing, the job is hard to get, very selective and would most likely pick someone coming from a better school. It'll be okay though. If you were worried about me not being able to see you play, I'll make time."
Irena nodded and listened to him. She smiled softly. "I'm glad your brother is doing well, but I understand everything you went through with your dad. I just hope that you find happiness. I know you love this job, and that a lot of people grow to consider their team family. I just hope you have that happiness. I know it can be lonely, especially when everyone sees you as practically a celebrity."
She teased and bit her lip, thinking. "I'll be in the stands for you, okay? Any time you want me here. Hell, I'll wear your number if you want." Rena laughed softly before standing. "But you should probably go get ready.." She didn't think anything romantic would come from this, even if part of her wanted. So she tried to accept that. She didn't mention his coat as she turned to leave, simply planning to go to her car. While it was nice... Would it simply be more false hope?
