The tropical areas of Everglades, Florida has been always famous for it's wildlife, being it crocodiles or pythons or tarentulas but it holds much more secrets than any human being can even imagine. It all started during the civil war in America when the people were getting brutally murdered, with diseases gripping in the health camps as well. Everyone was dying on the ongoing war and the health camps were crippled with new unknown diseases. During these times, the government started negotiating with shape-shifting werewolves , who until then were always hiding from sight of the humans. After positive sets of talks, with large pieces of lands were promised to them after the war was over, the werewolves agreed to help. They were a big game-changer, attacking as wolves in the enemy camps, while fighting as humans alongside others in the war. The shape-shifting was kept secret , only the commander-in-charge knew about it (who was later executed). The war was going on, since the government solved the problems of fighting from the front, but their also loomed a big problem that needed solving - The disease that was spreading like a virus. The government wanted something to do regarding this issue. They started consulting and after few discussions , they decided including the vampires as well. The vampires have been always around humans, since they want human blood to survive, but some of the vampire groups , who were reputed and famous among humans(without them knowing they were vampires ofcourse) survived on donated blood or animal blood. The big scientists started calling them , they wanted to test the medications on vampires with the permission of the government. The vampires would go to the medical camps, suck some of the blood from disease-infested humans, for testing and also injected anti-virus for testing purposes. The vampires didn't wanted anything, as they had whatever they needed, but the government offered the promise of secrecy to their kind . Soon the anti-virus was made and it was a successful mission. People started to getting better and soon it was made into vaccines. The war was about to end, the werewolves started returning to their new habitat, which became the everglades as of today. The government didn't wanted to risk the humans , so they devised a plan. They also offered the same habitat to the vampires that helped them during the war, thus making both groups fight with each other until some survives, which can be easily purged. The werewolves started a war with the vampires who started living in the habitat. The war went long and wide, with creatures dying from the both groups. Until a council was setup, were the elders of the two groups sat and discussed boundaries that shouldn't be crossed until the other group gives permission. Thus started the eco-system of the vampires and werewolves living at the same place.

Many years have passed since that event, everything have been fine uptil now, Werewolves and vampires had different high-schools and colleges were humans can enroll as well. Life was going good, since both groups were minding their own businesses. That's what everything thought, when suddenly the young bloods and elders started clashing with each other. The elders were clashing in similar businesses while the young bloods were fighting with each other. To stop the same war, the council was again called. Both heads of the groups sat infront and came into understanding of mutiny. The promise was sealed with the promise of the both heads making their daughter and son get married and live in the same place as a sign of respect. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

While the war waged on, another grave problem demanded resolution—the rampant spread of a deadly disease. The government, determined to find a solution, consulted with vampires. Although vampires relied on human blood for survival, some groups survived on donated or animal blood and maintained a reputation among humans without their true nature being discovered. While the war was reaching its conclusion, the werewolves, knowing they needed a new habitat, started returning to the everglades. The council convened to discuss the establishment of boundaries that should not be crossed without consent from the opposing faction. From that point forward, an ecosystem was formed where vampires and werewolves coexisted within the same territory. This delicate balance ensured the survival of both groups while allowing them to maintain their distinct identities*

Years have passed since that fateful event, and life had been separated. They had established separate high schools and colleges. After lengthy discussions and heated debates, a groundbreaking resolution was reached. To solidify the truce and foster a sense of mutual respect, the heads of the werewolf and vampire clans proposed a symbolic act. They decided that their children would be married and live together in the same place. As the wedding unfolds, Lumi stared at the mirror, disappointed in her father. For failing her. For giving her up easily to marry the vampire known as Andrew. As the eldest it was her destiny, she knew she was going to be married off, but she’d hope it would be to another alpha.. not her sworn enemy. Lumi growled at the thought of marrying him. As she stood besides her father wearing a beautiful white dress, a scowl on her face as she’d await for the elder vampire and his son to enter the den. As they did Lumi would growl at the sight, her golden eyes glowing as her father would immediately hush her up. Her father, alpha Noah stood up to greet the elder vampire and Andrew* “Please, sit” he said as Lumi kept her sharp gaze on Andrew

David, the head of the different factions of the vampires was the one who agreed to marry his son to his enemy's daughter. The vampires was not happy, especially his wife Elsie. She didn't wanted her only son to suffer like that. Andrew the son of David and Elsie was converted at a very young age, who was dying in the plague. Elsie never had a child of her own, so when David brought Andrew home , she was elated. She gave him everything, taught him, loved him like her own child. When the news was spread , Elsie was the one who reacted the most, shouting and cursing at her husband. Andrew was a very calm and somewhat silent person, he never dis-obeyed his father's wishes. He knew his father is the most intelligent in this community. He would have thought this hard enough before announcing something this big. Andrew came in forward, hugged her mother from behind as he whispered on to her ear -"Mum, it's fine, i don't mind at all......if father has decided this, there will no options left other than this....so calm down and support me like you have done for all these years." "But...son....this is not fair, you haven't even seen her ....are you sure love?- Elsie spoke with a concerned voice. "I am more than sure.....I am happy mum. Father start the preparations, i am ready to marry the daughter of Noah the alpha."- Andrew would speak with authority , looking at his parents, his eyebrows twitching with hate and anger, but he kept his cool as he went to his room. The venue was decided prior to the wedding day, since it was announced suddenly, a safe place amongst the city was chosen as the wedding venue, with werewolves, humans and vampires invited. The bride and her father was waiting on the stage when Andrew and David arrived. Elsie sat at the seats while David walked him towards the stage. Andrew looked at his to be wife, her golden eyes glowing with hatred. Andrew looked at her , his black eyes converting to red as he glared at her with the same intensity.

Noah the alpha told them to sit while the rituals to the werewolves were starting which involved the bride to do before the wedding starts. Elsie pulls Andrew towards her - "Are you sure luv? she wants to devour you, she isn't happy regarding this marriage." Andrew gave a wry smile to her mother while he placed his hands on hers while speaking - "Everything is fine, no werewolf will want to marry a vampire, she will get accustomed to it." Andrew moved his gaze towards his to be wife as he watched her properly for the first time. Her black hair nice tucked, her pale face having a red hue for anger while she gives him the side-eye with her rage struck golden eyes. Her figure slim and fit, with broad shoulders , as if she can fight like a warrior. He smirked while he checked her out, thinking what he have gotten himself into. @𝓢𝓪𝓫𝓫𝔂

As Andrew walked in the venue, Lumi looked at him up and down with disgust on her face, the scent of iron filling the room as she’d scowl. Filthy leeches, as she’d look at his parents, watching his mom take a seat in the back, and then gazed to Andrew and David. She’d notice the glare Andrew had as she’d snarl softly and looked away from him she’d look towards her father who was patiently waiting for Andrew to make it up to the Alter. As he did Lumi would once more look at her soon to be husband. Noticing he was checking her out at the alter, Lumi would softly growl, her claws coming out as she placed her hands behind her back to hide them. She’d immediately looked away from the vampire and to her father, who would clear his throat “Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed guests, and beings of the night, I stand before you today to witness a momentous union—one that transcends the realms of imagination and breaks the boundaries of tradition. Today, we gather here to celebrate the sacred merging of two ancient adversaries: Son of David, Andrew , and my Daughter, Lumi. Through an arranged marriage, these two have been chosen to unite and represent their bloodlines, in the hope that their union will pave the way for the dissolution of enmity and the coming together of our long-divided worlds. Vampires and werewolves have, for centuries, graced the pages of folklore, literature, and our shared imaginations. Legends intertwine of our stories, painting them as sworn enemies locked in an endless battle for dominance. Tales of bloodlust and moonlit metamorphosis have instilled fear in the hearts of many vampires and werewolves. The battlegrounds that have witnessed our disputes are stained with suffering and tragedy, and generations have paid the price for this perpetual conflict.*

Ugh, how revolting. She couldn’t even begin to comprehend the depths of depravity that this represents. No way in hell was this going to work! As her father spoke to take each others hand, Lumi would look towards Andrew with hate, as she’d do what her father said, putting on a show for the crowd as she gently grabbed Andrew’s hand, jumping slightly at his cold his hand was. A fake smile plastered on her face showing her small, sharp k-9s “In this sacred union of vampires and werewolves, we witness the birth of a new era—a time of acceptance, understanding, and the possibility of peace. With hearts filled with hope, let us embrace this union, support their aspirations, and work towards a future free from conflict and division. For it is through love, compassion, and dialogue that we shall dissolve the shadows of war and bring forth a world united under a common purpose: the pursuit of harmony, together as one. Andrew, Son of David, Lumi, Daughter of Noah, we pray the best for you, to show the future we can be one” Noah concluded as he looked at the crowd and then Andrew “You may kiss the bride”. “You may kiss the bride” those words repeated in her head as her eyes widen, her eyes darting to her father and then Andrew. No way in HELL was he going to kiss her. Lumis heart started pounding as she was hesitant to even kiss him, a knot in her throat as she glanced towards the crowd, a mixed feeling of happiness and anger as she’d take a breath and looked back to Andrew, clearly she wasn’t going to make the first move, and she was praying he’d say something to not kiss her..

Noah , the head of the werewolves was standing on the alter as he instructed Andrew to join him and his daughter for the ceremony to start. Andrew looked at his father and mother who nodded with agreement as he smiled back at them. He swiftly stood up and started walking towards the podium steps, watching the faces her to be wife made with each step he came closer to her. Upon standing infront of Lumi , he could feel the angry gaze that darted towards him, her low growls due to his sharp eyes and ears. He hated his abilities, cause it sometimes made him realize how unwanted he was in some situations and he have no option but to listen what they are talking about him. These thoughts were clouding him, as he moved his thoughts into a void, forgetting what was going infront of him. His senses came back when Noah has given his beautiful and charismatic speech and wanted to start the wedding process. A warm set of soft hands touched his cold barren hands as he looked at Lumi's beautiful face , a slight smile on her face , ofcourse pretense infront of her father but it was really warm. Andrew listened to Noah carefully as he completed the rituals . He was composed and have excepted the fact that this wedding is the best way to remove bloodshed between clans. Noah stated Andrew to kiss Lumi. He looked at his father-in-law in wide eyes as he moved his eyes to Lumi's disgusted face. Andrew was troubled, hall filled with werewolves and vampires , looking at them as a new history is being made. He wanted to devise something that looked normal and expected by everyone. He looked eye to eye to Lumi, as he moved in close to her, his hands moving from Lumi's hands to her cheeks, her wide eyes terrifying as he felt her teeth gritting. "Just play along"- Andrew whispered as he palmed Lumi's face and closed in , he covered his face inside his long palms , while kissing on her right cheek, making an illusion that they have actually kissed.

Lumi would stare at him, she felt like the vampire could practially hear her heart race as he whispered to her "Just play along", Lumi eyes narrowed watching him lean closer, was he really about to kiss her! As he covered his face inside his palm, kissing her cheek, Lumi felt his cold lips touch her cheek, as she bite her lower lip trying to remain calm, closing her eyes and just playing into it so the audience thought they were kissing. As she heard some cheers and some disgust from the crowd, Lumi let it drag for a good five seconds before pulling away. A fake smile plastered on her face as she would face the crowd, a look of agony hinted. "May our future become one" Noah spoke looking at the two with a smile, a heartfelt smile ensuring that this plan would work "Thank you all for coming.." He spoke as the crowd would begin to leave, only leaving Andrews parents and the bride and groom "Thank you both, for coming.. and agreeing to this, come let me show you around our humble den, and prehaps talk about the future down the road, leave the bride and groom to know one another hm?" Noah suggested as hed leave with his parents. As soon as the door closed, Lumi would wipe her right cheek disgusted and then looked at Andrew "Seriously! I thought you would have objected or just ugh" She spoke, her voice filled with venom as she pivoted so her back was too him, taking off her viel and tossing it aside "This plan or whatever my father devised isnt going to work, and Ill be sure of it" She growled, a growl that sounded quiet childish for her age, as she turned to face her so called husband now "just so your aware, I dont plan on sleeping in the same bed with you, or show any 'love' to you while we are alone. In public ill play my part and I expect you to do the same sound fair?" she said eyeing him up and down and then looked right into his eyes, hoping hed agree "Hmp, come on.. I suppose ill show you around as well, come on"

She said as shed motion him to follow her, as she began to show him around, giving brief explantations on what things were, and where things can be found as the tour would end in the bedroom they would be staying in when they are at the den. it would be a master bedroom with rose petals surrounding the bedroom as Lumi would scoff with disgust "what the hell.. ugh! what asshole decided to make this a "honeymoon" bed or whatever" she said as shed step into the room and towards the bed, sitting down as she crossed her legs "We will be here at the den from Wednesday to Saturday,.. and then your castle, Sunday to Wednesday, I guess its because my father and your parents wants to show how well there plan is? or whatever I dont know, we will leave for the castle tomarrow evening.. since you leech cant see sunlight" shed chuckle, folding her arms "what do you think of all this.. do you really think this would work and bring vampires and werewolves together?" @Büññy
