It was barely before sunrise and the little village of Normuk was already bustling. There were families to feed, cows to milk, crops to tend to. If you wanted to put in a good day's work, you had to be up early. Finn Cromwell was one of those who was up already. In fact, he had already milked the cows, fed them as well as the other farm animals, and started to put together his cart to sell in the market square that day. He had always been an overachiever, a bit of a showoff, if you will. He was in his early 20's still, a prime age for his strength and endurance, so his family depended on him to get most of the work done. His father had passed long ago. Now he had a mother and a sister to feed.
The sun was peeking over the horizon by the time he'd saddled his horse up and attached the wagon of goods. The market would be open by the time he made it to the square, and no sooner after would people be arriving to buy and sell as well. "Alrighty, Jonie. Let's go, girl." He said as he climbed his steed, and together they headed off. The morning air was crisp but not bitter cold, seeing as it was an early spring morning. It was rather nice. The birds had begun singing, and by the time he made it to his destination, the sky was painted beautiful oranges, reds, and golds with the rising sun. He pulled up to his stall and began to put things out for the day's inventory and before long, business was booming. This was an almost daily routine for the male, and once he was done, he would square his things away and head to the bar that evening. This was also a part of his routine, as his mother and sister would usually have people at home. They were considered the town nurses, and people would go to get their ailments remedied. Finn didn't like to interrupt those sorts of things. Plus, people at the bar knew him, and it was always a great time.
